-It is very unfortunate that everything was closed Spa, swimming pool etc.... In Italy you pay 20 euros per person and you can access the privatized Spa... just for you... it's Top! Why not do the same? After each pass they disinfect everything. This is why we make an appointment. I found the price a bit expensive since everything was closed.... In addition, you are charged 20 euros for parking. In Italy it's free!!!

+We had chosen a room with a sea view and we were served. The location is wonderful. What a joy to wake up by activating the blind to discover the beach at the end of our feet. Even though we were in March with unfavorable weather, Renecros beach is magnificent, probably very crowded in the summer, but there is the swimming pool and the thalasso. We are two meters from the city center in a quiet area. The setting but also the decoration of very good taste. Friendly, smiling and welcoming staff. To recommend.
-Breakfast a bit expensive: we preferred breakfast on the port. Dinner at the bar not great: risotto with pesto. Bof! But it's a matter of finding negative points because everything was perfect. They even found my wedding ring lost in the Spa: a big thank you to the staff who did what was necessary to find it.

No consideration for the customer. - when we arrived, the room was not ready (no subject, we had arrived at lunchtime for our reservation at the restaurant), we went to have lunch at the hotel restaurant, the reception had to warn us when the room was ready, we had no call from the reception to inform us of the availability of the room as agreed. -after our lunch, the hotel and its services were to be presented to us, we had no explanation when handing over the keys. We got the keys at the end of the afternoon. Example: breakfast time the next day? We had to contact reception in the morning. - for dinner, we had booked at the gourmet restaurant, with a request for a first-line sea view. We first received confirmation by email that everything was going to be done to best meet our request. We then had confirmation by phone before our stay that our reservation and our request had been taken into account. 2 hours before dinner, when the keys were handed over, I again asked reception for confirmation if everything was OK and if we had the requested place because I wanted the perfect evening, the person at the reception (yet another) m said she would check again. I have not heard back. So I felt everything was under control. I prematurely sold the evening to my spouse. When we arrived at the restaurant, the head waiter placed us at the entrance, completely the opposite of what had been agreed. I explained the situation, he told me that it was like that, first reserved first served (as for beach chairs in fact) and that he had never heard of my request. I would have preferred to be told clearly that it was not possible. Extremely disappointed with this negligence and the lack of consideration and empathy, we decided to leave.

Pluses and minuses: - pluses: superb sea view, helpful staff, direct access to the beach from the hotel, pleasant indoor swimming pool and relaxation area, excellent breakfast with a very friendly chef; - the cons: the gym is very cramped, in a hallway, without a 'real' elliptical, the treadmill is broken. Above all, the outdoor swimming pool, in winter (or at least during my 4-day stay), is not heated, contrary to what is advertised. The staff suspected "a technical problem" and "the weather", but I swear on my dearest that it was not warmer than the sea, that is to say 15/16°C (even if staff admitted it was 21°C instead of the advertised 25°C). This is the reason why I had booked this hotel, being a swimmer; So that explains my disappointment.

-One thing totally ruined our stay. I had booked in this Hotel Spa, in order to please my wife and that she could take advantage of the Spa. The first thing when we arrived was to rush to the spa in order to be able to choose and book our treatments. Immediate and fairly dry response, it's complete this week and we're taking your numbers to put you on the waiting list. Of course, no call. The Spa is open to all, and therefore in August, taken by storm by all the holidaymakers in the area. It is inconceivable that in a 5-star hotel, no slots are reserved for customers who pay for a 5-star service. It's a total lack of common sense really, it's the hotel customers who find themselves on the waiting list, and those of the campsite next door had their slot because they arrived earlier. Likewise, no communication from the hotel before our arrival, to ask us to book in advance at the spa. We had come to spend 4 days, we shortened the stay suddenly. A Hotel which was upgraded to 5 stars in 2016, but which forgot that customers of a 5 star hotel need all the services of the hotel. I put 4 stars for the service and not 5 because out of 4 interlocutors, 2 were barely friendly: during check out it was the union minimum and at the entrance to the marine course that we had reserved, 'we were told that we could change directly on the spot we were "kindly" reprimanded by having us hailed because we had to change in our room which was not at the level of the hotel especially since it contradicted what which we were told at check in.

The massages are extra! (count €118 for 1 hour) The establishment is very beautiful and the decoration perfect, in a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The price of the room includes access to a bath area / relaxation jets, the solarium, and a very beautiful heated and covered seawater swimming pool with deckchairs and panoramic view of the ocean, Also a large gym. The site is located very close (on foot) to the port, restaurants / shops and 6/8 minutes from the beach. The outdoor car park is free, and it is possible to park in the basement (paying). The breakfast (25 €) is perfect and can be taken in your room (top).
-The restaurant: we had a bad experience during our first dinner. +The welcome was perfect, Anais was on top, we had an upgrade caused by a problem with the jacuzzi in the room we had to occupy (very lucky, the villa offered was incredible.) The breakfast was very good, we were very happy with the variety of products and the quality. The rooftop pool is very well located, we were able to watch the sunset from this one, it was perfect.
-We wanted to have a drink at the hotel bar, which is very expensive compared to the quality of the cocktail which was average, moreover the waitress got the wrong glass, which made my husband drink alcohol who does not use it. This in no way erases the incredible stay we had.

+Very nice hotel with very pleasant heated seawater swimming pool. The setting is beautiful and the staff dedicated. The service in the restaurant is a bit long but the meal is of high quality and the atmosphere is very good with a singer with a wonderful voice.

+The setting is EXCEPTIONAL. The hotel is beautiful, clean, with attentive and caring staff. The shuttle that allows you to reach the large beach is just magical. The room with its terrace was also beautiful. The restaurant has a refined, hearty and precise cuisine, a treat .....
-Several small drawbacks: - Non-functional TV when we arrived (it was not connected at all....), no functional WIFI during the entire stay. But ultimately you don't go to this hotel to watch TV or surf the net. We have reported it several times but without success...... - Shared lower pool (with nearby residences) so depending on the crowd, it can look like a camping pool or just be wonderful (it's the lottery...) - The rooftop swimming pool is PROHIBITED for children.... It's a pity not to have specified it neither on booking nor on our arrival. My 8-year-old son would have had the right to soak in it after 18:30 p.m. but unfortunately 2 out of 3 evenings it was privatized. So no jaccuzzi or hot tubs for children....... - The service in the restaurant was very disappointing the first evening (far from a starred but close to the pizzeria on the corner) but was well made up for afterwards.

-Dimly lit rear bedroom "at the end of the corridor" (sometimes wondering if there are no "booking" rooms and rooms for direct reservations??). We have the impression of being punished a bit despite an already rather high-end room rate of 333 eur per night without breakfast. Value for money not extraordinary because many supplements (breakfast, parking, ..). Probably linked to the high season. This is a very personal opinion but we have observed that the decent wearing of a bathrobe, authorized at breakfast, is not a science or an education shared by all. Seeing the hairy torso through an ill-fitting bathrobe of a table neighbor who seems to be breakfasting in a bathrobe and sandals as comfortably as at home is unfortunately part of the risk that a 5-star hotel runs when it is resting solely on the education and good behavior of its clients. It clearly lacks class in such a hotel but linked to today's world.

-- THE LOCATION: even if it remains indisputably privileged, other hotels almost adjoining, also by the sea, more modest but very correct offer the same view/location. - THE BEDROOM (approx €484/night without breakfast): its comfort is rudimentary given the price and standing: layout of the bathroom (the door opens against the bathtub), significant presence of a bidet (it's time to redo the rooms!?), low cost hotel hair dryer fixed on a base on the wall, maintenance of the equipment (in particular rust on the towel dryer). - THALASSOTHERAPY: chain treatments, blasé staff (who sterilize the cabin while you are still getting dressed) and even sometimes unfriendly (during our cervical care on 28/12, the woman was very dry and Unfriendly, too bad! We were relieved that this treatment was over! Too bad) Nevertheless, the staff in the shop and at the thalasso reception are exceptional! - THE RESTAURANT (non-gastronomic) "La Verrière" offers 2 menus that are quite reasonable and perfect value for money (approx €30 and €40) and the dishes are fine and very good!

Le Ponton, midday service which only opens at 14:6, not allowing treatments to be resumed at 30 p.m. given the length of the service, except by skipping a dish (not deducted already paid since full board). - The reception: on arrival, coming from Marseille, departure at 15 am from my home, arrival around 72 pm at the hotel, only a glass of hot water was served to me when there was no had service on the plane. - Incomprehensible billing service, does not correspond to reality and 5 hours to make a decision following the change of room, despite my calls, I was never contacted by return by management. In conclusion, the hotel, despite its renovation, does not have a management to match this upscale establishment. It no longer corresponds to my habits of a client recognized as infinitely BARRIERE, nor to what is expected of a XNUMX-star hotel. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.

The room we chose had an amazing view of the ocean, with a very comfortable double bed and a nice terrace with a dining table. -Accustomed to the Sofitel Diététique for a few years now, the passage this summer to the Sofitel Thalassa disappointed me a little. The bedroom on the land side is very small and the bathroom is old fashioned. Really not worthy of a 5 star. I was also disappointed by the restaurant and the Blue Bar: the prices are high compared to the quality of what is served to us (lack of originality, sometimes of flavors). And not eating gluten, I had a lot of trouble, for example, getting gluten-free bread at meals: either you had to wait a very long time, or it arrived still frozen, or it was left on the table once the meal was over. ... The team obviously struggled to adapt. I expected a more personalized follow-up for this type of establishment. Damage. And this year, in general, I found the staff less welcoming and less professional. But this may be related to the particular period we are going through. Quiberon remains a very beautiful destination and I sincerely hope that the establishment will make the necessary improvements to remain at the level of a 5 star and to continue to make us live beautiful moments of relaxation and wonder.

Everyone was incredibly attentive and helpful, and I really felt like I was in good hands. The quality of service was simply outstanding, and I felt treated like royalty throughout my stay. Lastly, I can't fail to mention the bedding, which was just incredibly comfortable. I slept like a baby every night, and woke up every morning refreshed and ready to enjoy everything the hotel had to offer. Although I was very happy with the breakfast and bar staff, as well as the concierge who were very attentive, I was very disappointed with the restaurant manager who was rubbish. Also, I noticed the cleaning staff was spotty on different days, sometimes perfect and sometimes lousy. The breakfast staff were perfectly attentive and courteous. They took the time to answer all my questions and give me recommendations for activities to do in the area. Also the bar staff were very friendly and helpful. They created a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere for the customers. However, I was very disappointed with the restaurant manager. He was unfriendly and unconcerned with responding to my requests. I found his behavior unprofessional and it really ruined my restaurant experience. I expected an exceptional gastronomic experience, but unfortunately it did not happen. Regarding the cleaning staff, I noticed that they were uneven depending on the day. Sometimes my room was spotlessly clean and tidy, but other times it wasn't as clean as I would have liked. While not a big deal, it added to my overall frustration. In conclusion, although I enjoyed certain aspects of my stay at the Sofitel Quiberon Thalassa sea & spa, I cannot recommend this hotel 100%. The breakfast and bar staff were excellent, but the restaurant manager sucked and the cleaning staff were spotty. If you are considering staying at this hotel, I recommend that you consider these factors before booking.

There was a wide variety of food on offer, from fresh pastries to fresh fruit to scrambled eggs. Everything was delicious and of high quality. Room service was also excellent. I ordered a few dishes for dinner and was impressed with the speed of delivery and the quality of the food. The dishes were tasty and well presented, and the service was very professional. Finally, I really enjoyed the hotel's aquatic area. There was a large indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna, as well as a heated outdoor pool. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and I had a great relaxing time in this space. All in all, I highly recommend Sofitel Quiberon Thalassa sea & spa for a relaxing and luxurious stay. Breakfast, room service and the aquatic area are major assets of this hotel and I am sure that you will enjoy your stay as much as I do.

But this room 502 (top floor) is too small for a room at the "sea view" rate, with a bathroom open to it which does not ensure sufficient privacy between sleep and toilet . The lack of storage space also penalizes it. In short, the 502 is more of a "single" than a "twin"...
-Impossible to have breakfast in the dining room at the weekend, without waiting 25 to 30 minutes. Undoubtedly, the Covid regulations constrained the reception capacity, but above all the hotel's "filling" policy was excessive. Indeed, it would have been necessary to adapt the filling rate to the reception capacity of the catering infrastructures! Covid does not always rhyme with greedy...

Our stay dates from the month of July on the occasion of a family weekend. Very complete and excellent breakfast buffet! We also liked the little attention in the room for our son. Too bad for the wellness area closed due to a fire that occurred a few months earlier, we will discover this space during a future stay 😉

We spent a wonderful week at the Grand Hotel Thalasso & Spa. The warm welcome from the staff and the attentive service immediately put us at ease. We took advantage of the many services offered by the hotel, including the reception/meeting rooms, the spa and wellness center, the swimming pool, as well as the many activities nearby.
We were lucky enough to stay in the Ocean Suite, which was really luxurious and very spacious. We spent long hours enjoying the balcony and the amazing ocean view. The food and drink offered by the Aho Fina restaurant was also excellent, and we loved the themed menus and bar snacks.

In terms of care, the staff is friendly and competent. The hammann is a little too hot for me and I missed the smell of eucalyptus. The salt cave is a nice place, the swimming pool and the relaxation room too. A huge choice for breakfast in a sublime setting. (price a bit high). Mojito served at the bar in a friendly atmosphere. +The location is just idyllic, the whole hotel is perfect, but the prize goes to all the staff, whose kindness and professionalism I was delighted with.
-I just have one regret, the bathroom is very small for a suite of this standard.

+The spa and the swimming pool in the basement are very pleasant.
-The service at breakfast (ordering the hot drink, clearing the tables to place the next customers) and at the bar was very slow. The magnifying mirror in the bathroom was fixed far too close to the sink, without the possibility of retracting it, so there was a risk of it colliding.

-Sorry, but the restaurant which has a wonderful site is not up to this hotel! A very very limited menu so the choice is quickly made and Damn ... there is not the expected dish! So, we change... The service is always impeccable but over 6 days spent in this Hotel, we have not renewed the dinner experience because there is no shortage of Top restaurant in St Jean de Luz

Only downsides: the forgetting of coffee in the room, the excessive price of the breakfast and the bathroom which is not worthy of a 5 star (cracked tiles, damaged seals and bathtub too small).

August 9Beautiful hotel with a superb panorama. Perfect service but only 4 stars because of the service of aperitifs at the bar accompanied only by a few olives and filthy dried vegetables... Unworthy of such an establishment. On the first evening, the famous olives had even been served without "pikes". When I asked if it was not possible to have something else, I was answered, with a certain casualness, that there was nothing else... Appalling! Very good quality in the restaurant with a particularly pleasant service. Note a tour of the chef's tables.
