The rest of the stay was very pleasant and we thank the manager who was very understanding following a problem encountered. Very nice room staff.
Pay attention to kitchens and respect for health. The young restaurant staff (trainees?) is not sufficiently supervised. Very good mention for Ludovic, attentive and understanding.
We will be back for the 10th time.

-– THE LOCATION: even if it remains indisputably privileged, other hotels almost adjoining, also by the sea, more modest but very correct offer the same view/location.
– THE BEDROOM (approx €484/night without breakfast): its comfort is rudimentary given the price and standing: layout of the bathroom (the door opens against the bathtub), significant presence of a bidet (it's time to redo the rooms!?), low cost hotel hair dryer fixed on a base on the wall, maintenance of the equipment (in particular rust on the towel dryer).
– THALASSOTHERAPY: chain treatments, jaded staff (who sterilize the cabin while you are still getting dressed) and even sometimes unfriendly (during our cervical care on 28/12, the woman was very dry and unfriendly, too bad! We were relieved that this treatment ended! Too bad)
Nevertheless, the staff in the thalassotherapy shop and reception are exceptional!
– THE RESTAURANT (the non-gastro) “La Verrière” offers 2 menus that are quite reasonable and perfect value for money (approx €30 and €40) and the dishes are fine and very good!

Bed too hard we left with back pain. Not a real king size bed but two beds pushed together.
Restaurant la verrière expeditious service starter main course cheese dessert in less than an hour looks more like a nursing home canteen than a restaurant, dishes without interest. Cape horn a little better. Covid suggestion: a plexiglass plate to protect the cheese given the average age of your customers to limit the risks.
The aquatonic course not included in the price but a nice experience.

+It is an exceptional hotel by its location on the beach and 15 minutes walk from Saint Malo by the beach, by its top-of-the-range aquatic activities, by its swimming pool with sea water heated to 30°, by the calm surrounding the hotel, by its caring staff. In addition, the breakfast room has an exceptional view. Finally it is quite simple to park around the hotel for free.
It is clear we like this hotel and if it is expensive, it is totally deserved.

I expected a small discount that I did not ask for or obtain
So my partner and I booked an extra night in another hotel which turned into two extra nights!!!

+Home at the height of the establishment. beautiful rooms, ours facing the sea: exceptional. Nice catering offer. we didn't have enough time to take advantage of the care part. it will be for the next stay.
-No negative comments. everything is done to help you thanks to a smiling, professional and motivated staff.

-Simple and non-personalized reception. Did I really pay 2500€ for 4 nights for hello, are you parked far? Bring your suitcases here and we will help you….
And no gift on arrival. Similarly all activities are not included hotel guest or not! I didn't like it. No one to present to us what could be understood.
The breakfast is just fine. Make sure you respect the mask or the sanitary pass. I have seen individuals coughing and blowing their nose constantly.
The swimming pool…ahhh the swimming pool…half taken up by your children's classes. Hardly the place as soon as we are 3…. Must warn.

-We were surprised to see a tennis ball under a piece of furniture in the room, which had certainly been left by the former tenants.
The 2nd evening the restaurant was full, we had to dine in our room, we were a little disappointed. Better to think about booking when booking the room

-Uncomfortable bed, average bathroom with shower, no notion of a French 5 star, average decor….

+Quality of service and reception. “Palace” style and the hotel clearly has style.
Breakfast extra but magnificent view and nothing is missing.
Possibility of dining on the terrace with sea view for brasserie prices.
Electric bike rental and good advice from the concierge.
-Dimly lit rear bedroom "at the end of the corridor" (sometimes wondering if there are no "booking" rooms and rooms with direct reservations??). We have the impression of being punished a bit despite an already rather high-end room rate of 333 eur per night without breakfast.
Value for money not extraordinary because many supplements (breakfast, parking, ..). Probably linked to the high season.
This is a very personal opinion but we have observed that the decent wearing of a bathrobe, authorized at breakfast, is not a science or an education shared by all. Seeing the hairy torso through an ill-fitting bathrobe of a table neighbor who seems to be breakfasting in a bathrobe and sandals as comfortably as at home is unfortunately part of the risk that a 5-star hotel runs when it is resting solely on the education and good behavior of its customers. It clearly lacks class in such a hotel but linked to today's world.
