Atmosphere: - Old school bourgeois bias - Placed in the forest, view of green everywhere you look Dinner: - We had a black forest for dessert, delicious and allowed us to end on a very positive note Well space be: - Excellent, clean and hot sauna Continental breakfast: - Squeezed juices, fresh fruit, superb almond milk - Pancakes and pastries surely frozen and aged cheeses not aged at all Room: - Very clean, very neat Home and service: - Mostly attentive staff I paid €700 for a double room, breakfast, dinner, an aperitif on the terrace.
-The standard of the cuisine is absolutely not worthy of a 5 star – a bistro would have done better. Atmosphere: - Loud noise from fans once my window is open, on the forest side (the building's heat pumps are hidden by trees, but make a lot of noise) Dinner: - Warm red wine (served at room temperature > reminder a wine is serves from 14 to 18 degrees). - Aperitif: humus, homemade iced tea and non-alcoholic mojito; the humus tasted too strong of taini and was a little floury - Meal: chicken salmon club sandwich extremely disappointing, disgusting (too much mayonnaise); turmeric asparagus risotto, the turmeric masks the delicate taste of the asparagus. - After sharing negative feedback on the food, no commercial gesture was made or offered Wellness area: - Warm Jacuzzi, however uninteresting - No hammam - Would be nice to put an infusion (water, lemon, mint for example) in self-service — instead of water Continental breakfast: - Pancakes and pastries must be frozen and mature cheeses not matured at all Room: - Difficult temperature settings, because there is no mixer tap, but a double hot / cold tap; the bathtub is leaking so the water runs out in 30 mins Reception and service: - Not proactive on the terrace, I had to go see the waiters

June 1, 2023We went to Sunday Brunch after several years of not going back. It's still so disappointing. A brunch at 89 euros per person must be "generous". And there, all the dishes were systematically empty and we had to ask constantly. The worst: we were a table of 8 and when we asked for foie gras, only 4 mini slices were brought back. What a shame for such an establishment. We are not about to go back there. Restaurants that "stretch" are not for us. I put 2 stars only for the setting and the atmosphere.

By reporting this dissatisfaction to the general manager … no kindness on his part was received but we were entitled to a re-tile because of having shown our dissatisfaction to the receptionist! Despite the place which is pretty the service is to be desired. in a word, AVOID!

+What can I say about this place... it's simply ROYAL, as its name suggests. We had a pleasant stay in this setting of autumnal greenery where this CHATEAU, built by the composer FERNAND HALPHEN for his wife, welcomed us majestically by all the very friendly and very helpful staff. Having been upgraded, the room or I would rather say the very large room largely met our expectations. Spacious, very comfortable and very well equipped with balcony and view of this magnificent forest as far as the eye can see and room service if you want. We were charmed by this place steeped in history where a single person, a couple, a family could have a good time and recharge their batteries. Of course the summer season is more conducive to all these wide easements offered by this CHATEAU, but the autumn season also has its charm and I highly recommend this establishment with pleasure.

April 7, 2023I made a one night reservation for my wife's birthday with dinner and treatment. Overall, it must be emphasized, the service is of very good quality with friendly and available staff, very professional. We will keep a very good memory of it. But, unfortunately, there is a "but", a few small details caught our attention during our "too short" stay. - The forest view room was magnificent, but the presence of a technical room opposite the hotel and its incessant buzzing (even with the window closed) somewhat spoil the expected serenity. - the reception in the room included a bottle of champagne even though it had been specified when booking dietary restrictions (no alcohol). - the annoying flashing of the bedside lamp whose LED bulb was giving up the ghost. And then, a little personal disappointment, I had made it clear that it was my wife's birthday, I would have appreciated, for example, that the welcome card include a mention on this subject or that the dessert at the restaurant or accompanied by a small candle... Details, you tell me, but you have to put yourself in the context, that of a 5-star hotel with a price in keeping with its status. I repeat, excellent overall, staff, decoration, pool area, restaurant (dinner and breakfast) and ancillary services are perfect but for our first 5-star experience, I would have hoped for this little extra that we expect to find in these places. +A very nice surprise to celebrate my darling's birthday in a magnificent setting. Very pleasant and attentive reception. Good moments of relaxation at the Spa, jacuzzi and swimming pool. Succulent dinner at the Opéra restaurant, with little attentions.
-Only downside on the breakfast, which does not really justify its price (35 euros with fruit juices made from concerned, and basic quality products)

August 25I only went there for brunch. The latter very complete also presents shellfish and fish which is rare. It's a pity that the salads, magnificent and tasty by the way, are not identifiable. The staff is attentive and smiling at the start of the service. But quickly a small clan of gossips gets organized and forgets the customers, especially when they express themselves loudly with lots of laughter. The buffet is very well stocked, it is also excellent. On the other hand, it is neither locavore nor seasonal and not necessarily surprising.

The places are sumptuous, the Stradivarius restaurant is sublime and the dishes are delicious, as for the Sunday brunch, it is a treat. Looking forward to going back there soon. May 7, 2022We came to celebrate the 30th birthday of a friend. We booked 3 rooms. We called before we arrived to make sure the rooms were ready, which the front desk confirmed over the phone. We arrived at 15:50 p.m. and our room was not ready.. We had previously asked the Hotel that special attention be paid to our friend who is celebrating her birthday, (it was a short note and a box of 3 macarons) when we asked which room it was in, they couldn't answer us. Following this the reception offers us a "late" check out, 13 p.m. instead of 12 p.m. (but the cards have not been updated, after 12 p.m. they no longer open, you have to go back down to the reception and ask to reactivate the card, a lot of waste of time). We were taken advantage of the spa, and to our surprise the Jaccuzi was cold, and the pool even colder, while they showed a temperature of 30 degrees .. when we ask a service woman who restocks the towels she replies that she doesn't know! We go back to the room, the bed is badly made when we arrive, the bathtub is clogged and it is impossible to put the shower head on. they decide to change our room. we are going to dinner (mushroom risotto not fresh and reported to the kitchen), we ask that they bring us the dessert to our room at 23 p.m. dessert came up at 23:45 p.m. No make-up remover disk or cotton swabs in the room. a big task is on the bathrobe supposed to be clean. we spent the night in our new room in a very small double bed (room 202); it was a freezing night, impossible to regulate the temperature. the bathtub in the new room is also clogged, the water temperature is not stable and goes from cold to hot. This stay was not pleasant, and this hotel is not at all worthy of a 5*. I wonder if a control in the rooms is carried out.. Despite this, no apologies from the reception. We only had the right to a late departure (past 15 p.m. instead of 13 p.m. which we specifically requested because as the bathtub was clogged we would not have been ready in time .. ) We indeed have very bad memories of this stay or the quality we expected and paid for was lacking.

The decor is superb, the service top-notch, the welcome perfect and the rooms and suites are very comfortable, relaxing and quiet. The bar is cozy and very pleasant to spend some time reading, just like the restaurant is divine in terms of dishes and dishes. THANKS

April 10, 2023A beautiful establishment that deserves its 5 stars. A great welcome on site, the staff is very caring. Service is great with on-site parking/valet for 16eur per night. A little attention was left in the room for our wedding anniversary. The room is very nice and has everything you would expect from a hotel of this standard. The evening meal in the winter garden was excellent with good quantities and top quality taste. The Auberge du Jeu de Paume is located 5min walk from the Chantilly castle so perfect in terms of location. We consumed this stay via a castle relay and the telephone reception of the dedicated teams for the reservation was not very friendly, on the other hand, compared to the rest of the hotel staff, but nevertheless we spent a great time. I recommend

April 9, 2023What a pity to have a room overlooking the street with the noise of passing cars on the cobblestones which did not allow us to have a good night's sleep. Too bad also not to have a view of the park, the place sorely lacking in green space. But it is ideally located to visit the park and the castle of Chantilly. The welcome is excellent as is the quality of the meals.

April 5, 2023We received a stay at the Auberge du Jeu de Paume and a dinner at the Constable as a wedding gift. I had never been so well received in a hotel - the staff showed a lot of little attentions, our room was very pleasant and we particularly took advantage of the swimming pool/spa after an afternoon of visiting the castle. The constable's table was also an incredible experience. Unaccustomed to this kind of establishment, the staff proved to be particularly welcoming and very kind in making us feel comfortable, taking the time to explain the dishes to us in English (a very big thank you to this Cambodian lady whom I don't unfortunately did not remember the first name - but who I hope will recognize himself - for his kindness with us!). The dishes were delicious, a real culinary experience that we can, I hope, repeat one day!

+The welcome, the attention, the availability and the responsiveness of the staff. The real comfort of a 5 star. The decoration and the high level of finish, the top-of-the-range furniture and bedding, the impeccable cleanliness. And in this Christmas period, the decor was all the more sumptuous and magical. The city of Chantilly also offers a perfect setting for a romantic getaway.
-The fact that there is no direct access to the garden which in fact belongs to the domain of the castle. you have to leave the hotel and access it through the (paying) entrance to the park, located about 500m on foot

December 17thThe reception staff are respectful, warm and very welcoming. We made a visit to the SPA, the quality is up to its price! We then dined at the hotel restaurant, very good, the starters, the cheese and the 2 dishes are delicious, a little disappointed for the dessert because there is not much variety and the caramel dessert is too sweet. In summary, with my husband we had a great stay at the hostel, we thank all the staff who are professional and deserve 5 stars!

A dinner at the restaurant at the height as well. Choose a room on the patio side for more tranquility (the street side can be noisier with the cobblestones). Excessive price for pets.

+The meal at the gourmet restaurant "La Table du Connétable" was fantastic! Another big thank you to chef Anthony Denon and his whole team 😉 Magnificent breakfast too! The room was very comfortable, bedding at the top. All attentive and very friendly staff (humor while being respectful towards the customer and very professional).
-The fact of having reserved the SPA and the swimming pool for one hour (as requested at reception, and seeing a new couple appearing every 15 minutes arriving on the premises. I thought that the swimming pool and the SPA were private for one hour only for my wife and me.

The rooms are spacious, with the possibility of having a very beautiful view of the park or the gardens of Chantilly. The spa side is just magnificent for a moment of relaxation. I recommend this place.
