What a lack of class for this kind of place. When I make the remark to him, his only answer will be that he has to pay the singer and the pianist. All of this was out of place and deplorable for a 5-star hotel! I'm not even talking about the waiting times to be served. My evening was ruined as soon as I arrived.

+Our 2nd bedroom with wooden floors because we had to change given the state of the carpet and the allergies caused during the night by the 1st bedroom!
-The 1st bedroom had a horribly stained carpet with holes in the floor which were unpleasant even with slippers! We therefore immediately asked to change rooms but we had a refusal to receive staff and above all no compensation was offered to us. The quality/price ratio is catastrophic. This hotel is very expensive in view of the services: simple rooms with stained carpets or under the roof with parquet but one floor on foot to access it, bathroom which includes the toilet (toilet not separated from the bathroom!!), small dressing room. On the other hand, the staff is in ecstasy in front of their spa, they only talk about that all the time for lack of finding solutions for their customers!! The Sunday brunch at €35 is no more and no less than a continental breakfast, so this price is exorbitant! Similarly, room service in the morning is billed at €5, while breakfast already costs €22!!! We had paid for a sea view and we had a terrace view because very few rooms actually have this possibility and on the 2nd bedroom, the sea view is through a skylight!!! In short, a hotel that unfortunately we do not recommend.

The prices are substantial but the infrastructure does not suffer from any major fault in an old building excellently located with a view of the old port; the comfort is real with a superb terrace to accommodate meals and breakfasts.
-We find that given the asking price and for a hotel of a higher level member of the SLH chain, the breakfast lacked diversity and elegance while the location of this one is superb.

+The hotel is located in the citadel and offers the most beautiful view over Bastia. If it does not have direct parking, the game is still worth the candle. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Their black points are those mentioned by all: the shower and the carpet. The hotel has a spa, but the swimming pool is far too cold, which prevents guests from swimming in it. On the other hand, the sauna and the hamam are very pleasant. The breakfast is very good. There are several homemade cakes which is appreciable.
