+Being a very regular customer, I love the setting of Golf Barrière. The countryside/sea view is quite unique, I regularly stay in an Executive Sea View Room (42m2), a very comfortable category with an exceptional bathroom. I appreciated that the establishment granted me the exact room I wanted, the room service is well managed. The hotel has benefited from a recent renovation with the Normandy Barrière.
--Empty mini bar in the room (I called room service to come and fill it, I was told that this service will only be available from March 2023 ..) -Electricity is cut twice in my room (restarted in 25 minutes, quite disturbing) -Had to call room service to put coffee capsules back every day …

They refused to serve me tea at 14:30 p.m. on the terrace, which was empty, on the pretext that it was reserved for serving lunch until 15 p.m. The room manager was arrogant and aggressive without name, preferring to hide behind "directives from management" rather than showing discernment in the face of a customer and an empty terrace. May 8, 2023I occupied a suite for 1 night. The layout is interesting and pleasant. The bedroom is pretty. The small lounge area is pleasant. The bathroom is well laid out and offers everything you need for the comfort of the toilet. Downside: insufficient and too modern wall decoration. When you come to these charming Norman cottages you want to continue to travel inside. On the wall I want to see paintings/posters/photos of the Normandy coast. Even photos of apple trees / cows / horses / cider house or anything reminiscent of beautiful Normandy must be honored on your walls. Your decorations are neutral and could be in any hotel in the world. While walking in your garden I saw a cat and some rabbits. Nature is your asset! . modern is good for mariott, sheraton or sofitel. At home we are above these hotels, believe me. I travel the world every month. Your establishment is very charming! Play the Normandy card! People must tell what they have experienced within your walls. I saw the breakfast (without consuming it). He is very good! The offer is generous.. The minibar in a suite should include in addition to the 1/2 cider (very good that!!) a small duo packet of local biscuits. these little extras are noticed; ) The staff is diligent and professional. It shows that you pay attention to the reception. THANKS . you are a very original hotel by these cottages. I will recommend to those around me. See you soon. Best wishes.

This is the disadvantage of not having a restaurant inside the Manor and of depending on an external restaurant. Finally, last thing, the TV doesn't have Netflix or anything, so no option to choose a movie. We expect more facilities for a Small Luxury Hotel. The place is beautiful but it needs to do better in terms of equipment. This can improve with some investment.

+The charming manor and the cottages are located in a quiet park, not far from Deauville (10 min by car) The swimming pool is very well exposed. Breakfast is made up of fresh, authentic, often organic products. The very natural bath products are of high quality.

-Hello, this is the first time that I take the time to write to express my dissatisfaction with an establishment. I would like to point out that before leaving a comment I asked three times to see a hotel manager (in the evening around 23:00 p.m., in the morning at 8:30 a.m. and just before our departure!), in order to share my verbal dissatisfaction, but no one came. We spent one night in the property in room number 7 (no photos of this room, neither on booking nor on their website!), this room has no privacy, on each side the passage of customers with large windows, so you have to close all the curtains with the impression of being in a "box". Then we have the unpleasant surprise, to realize that you hear absolutely every footstep above the ceiling. It is unworthy of a luxury establishment!!! The condition of the bathroom is okay. pleasant staff but we had a terrible night.

There was a wide variety of food on offer and everything was fresh and tasty. In addition, the swimming pool was very pleasant and the garden was absolutely calm, which was perfect for relaxing. The hotel staff was also very helpful and attentive. They were always ready to respond to our requests and help us with anything we needed. -The cleanliness of the room was not impeccable. When we arrived the bathroom bin was full and not emptied. We closed our eyes to it thinking it was an oversight. Only to our surprise we discovered the cushions really dirty and stained. They were camouflaged by the pillow sizes. One thing is certain, this hotel is absolutely not worth a 4 star and the price is much too high.

However, we were given a room with the heating not working. a little difficult the first nights see cold. The staff were very welcoming and helpful from the moment I arrived. They took care to explain to me the different facilities of the hotel and gave me information on activities to do in the area. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a magnificent view of the sea. The cleanliness was impeccable and I appreciated the little touches like the free bottles of water that were renewed every day. The bathroom was also very clean and well equipped. The hotel has a large outdoor swimming pool with lounge chairs and umbrellas for relaxing in the sun. There is also a bar near the swimming pool to cool off with cold drinks. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of hot and cold choices. The Sowell Hotels Le Beach is located right in front of the beach, which is very convenient for people who want to swim or walk on the sand. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars nearby for those looking to go out in the evening. Overall, I had a great stay at Sowell Hotels Le Beach and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality hotel with friendly staff and great facilities. It is an excellent choice for a vacation by the sea.

But this room 502 (top floor) is too small for a room at the "sea view" rate, with a bathroom open to it which does not ensure sufficient privacy between sleep and toilet . The lack of storage space also penalizes it. In short, the 502 is more of a "single" than a "twin"...
-Impossible to have breakfast in the dining room at the weekend, without waiting 25 to 30 minutes. Undoubtedly, the Covid regulations constrained the reception capacity, but above all the hotel's "filling" policy was excessive. Indeed, it would have been necessary to adapt the filling rate to the reception capacity of the catering infrastructures! Covid does not always rhyme with greedy...

My goal was not to stay at the hotel but to have a good time with my girlfriend for Valentine's Day and in the end I was disappointed. I lost 200€ this weekend.

Discovery of a large bedroom, of impeccable hygiene with an exceptional bathroom (which was the size of a 2nd bedroom). Varied continental breakfast, consisting of fresh products, homemade cakes, cold cuts, eggs, fruit salad,... Indoor swimming pool, sauna, small fitness room, bicycle, everything is there to spend pleasant moments. Well maintained exteriors we regret that one thing is that the weather did not allow us to have breakfast outside in order to enjoy it more. We recommend this address.

August 15A little paradise in the middle of nature An indoor pool heated to the perfect temperature, a spa with multiple massage options, and a gourmet restaurant that will tickle your taste buds. But the big plus for us was the bookable cinema room, included in the price of the stay. With a computer, a DVD or a console, enjoy the joys of the big screen with your other half or your friends to rediscover your favorite media for an evening. Breakfast is to be avoided in our opinion, too expensive for the size of the buffet offered, although the products are all of high quality (25€ per person). Take however at least once the evening meal, you will not regret it. The staff was also very welcoming and always attentive, coming to see us regularly to find out if the stay was going well. The proximity to beautiful cities like Deauville, Trouville and Honfleur is also a plus. Whether it's a stopover or a trip as a couple or family, this natural hotel will reinvigorate you for a week or an evening.

April 5, 2022My fiancé and I came to spend 2 nights in one of the Manoir rooms. We were very pleasantly surprised by the soothing and isolated setting of the hotel, its proximity to Deauville and the surrounding area is a plus. We didn't try the spa, but the swimming pool is superb (it's heated!) If you come as a couple, I advise you to go there at late hours, to avoid families with children. The room is very clean, we were delighted to see that there was a separate shower AND bath, the only downside was that we could hear our neighbors a lot. Other than that, nothing to complain about! The restaurant is also very nice. We had breakfast there (25€ per person) and were not disappointed. The all-you-can-eat buffet is excellent, the setting is warm and calm. The staff is extremely friendly, very welcoming. Very easy to park your car there. All in all, we had a great weekend and we will definitely be back!
