-The Royale is an institution, however, having stayed in the hotel of the same group, the Hermitage de la Baule, which was renovated some time ago, I was disappointed by the Royale, which really deserves a refresh.

-The breakfast: very disappointing for its price. Very supplied certainly, but too classic and with products without originality (apart from the special barrier cake which unfortunately has nothing exceptional). Few various jams (apricot or strawberry), few seasonal fruits, variety of cheeses not reflecting the offer of the Normandy region. Few homemade products.
Access to the pool later in the summer would have been nice.
