I have a child and my room is placed at the entrance, impossible for him to take a nap with all the arrivals from 14 p.m. until the moment I gave up, the little one was in a terrible mood. I really had a bad stay because of that!
We hear footsteps, speeches, doors.
In the room, I don't know, it's a mixture of the smell of cigarettes and dirty carpet. The bathroom is really to be reviewed, I did not use the TV, nor the equipment such as the kettle.
I am very disappointed, yet around the hotel it is very nice and green!
The positive is that there is a lot of parking space, the staff for my part was good and welcoming.

When I arrived (22 p.m.), they remained very welcoming despite everything. THANKS. The rooms are very clean but the decor looks old. The hotel remains very quiet.

For a hotel displayed with 3 stars, this is INADMISSIBLE. I haven't seen this anywhere else even in hotels with less stars.

A desaster !! Accustomed to this hotel before covid, the management has been taken over by incompetent people and that's a shame. A disgusting smell (vs stale cigarette) throughout the hotel which was basically non-smoking! Old hotel! Staff not even trained to say hello! Minimalist breakfast, sauna off for a while.
As a welcome, pain au chocolat and croissants from the uneaten breakfast on which everyone sputters (slap me in 5 for viruses) the kettles and no gifts in the room (shower gel soap) you won't see me anytime soon.

Unheated hotel room on the ground floor freezing. The heating had to be on full blast all night and the bathroom didn't warm up so I didn't take a shower.
The towels under the sink were soaked!
Wake up this morning around 6:30 a.m. by the garbage collectors because the room has a view of the garbage cans!

+Access to the hotel is easy, very close to the racecourse and not far from Deauville beach, barely 10 minutes by car. parking is free around the hotel. The person at the reception is pleasant, the hotel is as one can imagine, it's clean, the breakfast is not crazy but the essential is there. There is an outdoor swimming pool which we did not use, but it was quite possible to use it.
-the only negative point is the smell of humidity in the rooms, after just one night, our clothes smell of humidity, it is not prohibitive for sleeping but this smell is really tenacious, and it is only in the rooms

-A hotel that is aging badly! Musty smell in the room, stains on the carpet and curtains. The radiator was pitted with rust in places and the icing on the cake: the bedside lamps did not work! No pictures unfortunately!
It's not easy for me to criticize, but we should still think about redoing small fittings and ensuring the proper functioning of the equipment (basic, in short!).
Having reported the non-functioning of the lamps, the reception made a gesture on the bill, I must specify .. Despite everything, for the price of the rooms, the necessary should be ensured, it is a pity because it is a question of a nice establishment..

We hear the slamming of doors, footsteps and voices in the hallways. Door leading to the very degraded elevator corridors, sauna out of service, yet we were not notified when booking. Shower very small and water leaks everywhere. In short… I have bad memories of this hotel

-Reception closed at 15pm, the person who was mowing was actually the receptionist and checked us in. Room redone recently but horrible finishes, paint on skirting boards that overflows, coat hook that does not hold, sliding door of the wardrobe that opens with difficulty. The worst was the bathroom: flooding at each shower, door and worktop condoled by humidity, repainted ceiling but drips on the tiles and the bathtub, hair dryer from another time as well as the heating which turns on road for 7 minutes after having triggered it with the external button.
The sauna as big as a cubbyhole was not working.
Door numbers are cut off. The detection of lights when you enter the hotel is complicated, and impossible to see the switches.
The handing over of the keys for the departure as folkloric as the arrival, reception closed and no one answered the number given in case of absence. We had to go back upstairs to find housekeeping to give them the keys.
