During our stay at the Atlantic Hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the service and the attention of the employees. The rooms were very clean with stunning sea views. The en-suite was also very clean and well equipped.
The hotel restaurant offered a variety of traditional French dishes and seafood, all delicious. The beach bar also offered a variety of drinks and cocktails for relaxing in the evening.

The breakfast looked plentiful. The only negative point that I will raise would be the soundproofing which caused us big problems. We had to call the reception twice so that they ask the occupants of the next room to make less noise. Not great for resting.. I think these occupants were noisy from the start, but the walls seem very thin (especially since our two bedrooms were really very close together).

We got lost several times, especially to eat at the restaurant. ibis and especially when we arrived. We had to walk through the whole ibis hotel to get to the novotel. A few more signposts would not be negligible.

+The setting of this hotel is perfect, as well as the decoration in harmony with the place. Facing a fine sandy beach, the view from the breakfast room is just fantastic and the staff do their best to seat us on the window side when a table is free. The swimming pool is really large and magnificent, original with sea water. The room is clean, spacious and the bedding comfortable.
-The title of the room is seller but a little misleading, in fact of parking lot and dunes view, we see especially the parking lot. Perhaps the effect would be less deceptive on arrival by not mentioning a particular view in the room title. The reception of children can be reviewed, I had a room for 1 adult and 2 children, but only 2 bathrobes and slippers for adults for the swimming pool.

We had dinner at the hotel and the meal was really not good. The service is sorely lacking in class once again for a hotel At this price we expect something else. the breakfast in the morning is pathetic. we waited in line for 10 minutes. We arrived at the buffet at 9:15am and there was already a huge shortage of food. There wasn't even a plate to help yourself. We waited another 15 minutes. The staff is completely disorganized and not really friendly. What saves this hotel is its location on the beach. An exceptional view.

I'm willing to imagine that there is an operational logic, but in terms of customer experience, it's not the best. -> Closure of the site restaurant service at 14:15 p.m. Customers are used to respecting the services, however, if you arrive at 14:15 p.m., you will have to find a restaurant in town. -> Room service unavailable when I tried to call to complain about the very poor fruit salad despite the price. -> Meal trays and empty bottles lying around in the corridors. I'm sorry to say this but honestly it shocked me. Overall, the services are very good but these small things could be improved.

Extra sofa bed, but at 3, it's a bit small. Attention shower and sink open in the room. Consumption of the bar in the room included in the price. Friendly and attentive staff. Small pub for the excellent restaurant Les 2 Moineaux rue St Jean, run by young people (top quality/price); on the other hand Cap Sud (very close to the hotel) disappointing.
-From a price point of view, the Novotel takes advantage of its seaside location a little. Beware of the restaurant, which is operated by an independent company (according to the reception of the Novotel): one evening it was very good (bistronomy level), a another evening for a steak and a Caesar salad (basic dishes if any) it was horrible. Breakfast ("industrial") products unworthy of a 4* (and also a 3*) in all aspects (bread, cheeses, croissants, etc.), but a beautiful view from the restaurant over the sea.

However, given the claimed standing, two small drawbacks: we were lucky enough to be there during the magnificent Pentecost weekend, the weather was very nice and therefore too hot both in the rooms and in the restaurant without (a priori ) way to ventilate the restaurant or to operate the air conditioning in the room. Second point: the bathroom of the room gave off, from the first night, very uncomfortable smells of sewage. Despite the zealous intervention of the technical team, no suitable solution was found to solve the problem before our departure. As we had settled everything in advance, no financial compensation for the inconvenience, a simple proposal for points to be accumulated for a future stay in a hotel agreement... too bad

Lunch formula with two starters and two main courses and a dessert. Dismay at the refusal of a waitress to modify it but the second server was more conciliatory by asking us not to exceed 35 euros provided for the menu. Waiting in the hallway in front of the elevators to access breakfast at 9:30 am! We took full advantage of a duo treatment in a private space facing the sea. A real moment of relaxation surrounded by attentive staff. A real bubble of serenity!

+We enjoyed the very varied breakfast with a wide sea view on the 4th floor. The room was spacious, clean, with a nice fabric bench that was handy for putting the bags down. We appreciated the pretty wardrobe/dressing room with integrated light; the bed was comfortable and the decor rather pretty (Toile de Jouy style lampshades). The staff was pleasant, smiling and attentive. We feel that they want to do well. The hotel is ideally located.
-We did not like the wooden plank walls of this large room less, which gave a cold and unfinished appearance despite the nice decor. No or lack of soundproofing, we could clearly hear people talking in the hallway and the noise of cars and motorbikes (we were on the sea side and therefore facing the road and the beach car parks). There was no shampoo, only hand gel in the shower (maybe a staff mistake?).

+Nice establishment in front of Dieppe beach, right next to the castle, very accessible by road. Large 2-level underground car park (a little low: be careful when opening the trunk!), a little cramped for an SUV, but equipped with EV charging station and sockets for PHEV. Nice room, very original, arranged differently from most hotels in the world with a central cupboard block, the bed is against it facing the window. It's disorienting. The beach is right in front, just cross the road. A panoramic view from the breakfast room is perfect on the 4th floor. For the lucky ones who are there on Saturday, the market is accessible from the street next door: a great walk! Super nice and helpful staff.
-When we arrived (late at night) there was no carpet in the hallway on our floor (3rd floor): it wasn't really a problem. But when we left the next day, the carpet was laid! the good news is that now the carpet is new. Our room overlooked the back of the building "city side": in reality it is opposite a wall above the car park. The "sea side" must be much better. The window is really too small... I hope the windows on the sea side are bigger (with such a view, that would be a shame).

November 4, 2022Very well located, opposite the beach and a stone's throw from the city center, this hotel already has an advantage. The staff are pleasant and efficient. Note that the breakfast buffet is really interesting and richer in fruit than the average hotel in the same range. The rooms are clean and tidy, some of them might need a bit of a refresh.

+Excellent breakfast! Very comfortable beds, very well secured parking, superb view from the very bright room, second excellent stay in less than a year and will not be the last!
-We were on the 4th floor and we heard several people complaining about having to wait for the elevator… It is true that a single elevator to serve 7 levels is rather problematic at certain times and however the staff never use it and must ensure the service by the stairs.

Parquet very worn. Problems TV not working as well as wifi. Underground parking badly indicated. Hearty breakfast.

August 23Room with sea view very well placed. Cleaning to review we found razor heads in the shower holders. I had booked a weekend in a privilege room to rest. The rooms still not made at 16:30 p.m. due to a lack of staff, but also to poor organization. Forced to wait in the lobby on returning from a walk, really unprofessional! Too bad a breakfast at the top, with very friendly staff and a very nice view on the 4th floor. The downstairs restaurant or rather the bistro is not in phase with a 4 star. Ah yes I am still looking for the station to recharge my phone in the room. Gym too small and ancillary parts that are aging badly (warning bar hanging on the wall in the faulty elevator). Ah yes, I almost forgot our room neighbors argued until 1am... Too bad it lacks a bit of soundproofing because it's not very discreet!...

May 6, 2022The hotel is very well located, just in front of the 50m swimming pool (heated sea water) and the malecón, ideal for a sports stay. The boulevard just below is however quite noisy due to traffic. The team is very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is very correct (even if we would like to find more local and/or organic products there) and the panoramic room is very pleasant. The room we got was a bit disappointing because it was too small and the mattress was much too soft for my taste. The bathroom was actually a suite of small rooms down the hall. Also, we would have liked to find more small services such as: slipper, vanity kit, coffee maker (rather than freeze-dried sachets...). On the other hand, I appreciated that the refrigerator was not filled with sodas but with fresh, filtered water. All in all a pretty pleasant stay, would definitely come back
