June 1, 2023Could still do better given the price
+Perfect location, luxury and beauty of the historic building, especially the common areas. Kindness and perfect service from the staff. Excellent, hearty breakfast in a beautiful location.
-Considering the price, I am looking for perfection so the elements that I am indicating here might not have been found in another establishment: - the room is a bit small, especially the bathroom, barely larger than at the hotel. ibis without bathtub! What had not been specified to me. - The view of the ocean is quite limited without a balcony and not really a clear view. - -The water in the jacuzzi and imperial spa is much too cold, it's not pleasant. The hammam is closed without explanation. - On the day of departure, I am given a parking lot even though I don't have a car, I was reimbursed immediately but this is inappropriate given the standing.

April 9, 2023Avoid completely! Reservation made for 14 p.m. we arrived at 30 p.m., I drove 14 hours to come and eat at this place. They tell me the kitchens are closed! Then we install me difficult in the living room we wait 35 minutes before someone decides to come see us to take our order. Then for the restoration we are invited to go on the terrace and the 2 minute wait for a vulgar "imperial sandwich and tartar"!! Sincerely value for money I invite you to go to the hotel which has a restaurant at REGINA!

February 22, 2023An unforgettable parenthesis
+Everything was magical at the Hotel du Palais. unfortunately we did not have little access to the brasserie and the restaurant of La Coupole but it is our fault, we had a doggie and that is understandable. we were also told when booking. but our little Wonder had a personalized welcome and lots of little gifts. The valet parking service is impeccable, the staff calm and charming, the maintenance of the rooms and common areas perfect. See you soon ❤️❤️❤️
-A few unimportant details. Poor TV reception. The handles of the bathroom and bathtub helmets are difficult to grip and turn once your hands are wet. A little too many sources of light in the room at night (master switches in the room among others). But these are remarks to achieve excellence, nothing more
Aurelie

February 4, 2023Stop and take the time to discover the chef and his pastry chef. a moment of pure happiness awaits you.
+The palace is splendid with a prime location, the dining room faces the sea, a beautiful indoor and outdoor swimming pool, spa, sauna and hammam: everything is there to spend a wonderful day. And when the evening comes, it's time for gastro, the chef and the pastry chef are extraordinary… congratulations what a talent: you are in my top three: p.pairet, g.savoy and you 2! Thank you for this beautiful moment, I will come back.
-the rooms, although renovated, lack charm and class. the golden frame around the TV, completely has-been and moreover poorly made - visible cables, the bedside lamps are outdated and the small table seems straight out of IKEA => not worthy of the brand and the luxury French of which they should be the ambassadors.

December 8thVery good, but still not perfect...
+The location in the heart of the city. Guerlain hygiene products. The beauty of the details (flowers, furniture, carpets...) and the cozy atmosphere.
-The bathroom a bit small. The bath mat does not fit under the shower door. There is no door between that of the bedroom and the sleeping area, so that noise from the hallway is more attenuated. The double bed has two single mattresses pushed together, which is very uncomfortable... the mattresses move apart during the night... There are no welcome touches in the room. Parking at 30 € ... it's moved !!

November 16, 20225 days at the Palace of Biarritz
+The location of the hotel and the majestic setting of the interior and exterior building
-A bit run down. The wooden floors creak under the carpet which is very unpleasant for a 5 star. At breakfast there is always an ingredient that is missing to accompany the 50 euro omelette (bacon, potatoes...) it is not acceptable for a hotel of this level, moreover the buffet is rather common and unchanged during the week

October 8, 2022I discovered this hotel last week and I was amazed by the professionalism of the teams. The sea view room is magnificent, waking up to the sound of the waves is a real luxury. The beach, accessible in a few seconds, calls us for a morning stroll as soon as we wake up.. as for the restaurant, breakfast and dinner were perfect in every way, I really enjoyed myself! The history of the place also won me over... a stay out of time! Can't wait to go back!
Anne-Laure Verouil
October 7, 2022The place is fabulous, we had a great time. A little disappointed with the spa experience (the aquagym equipment on the edge of the pool gives the impression of not being in a luxury place, the massage jets were not working, no shampoo and no minimum beauty in the locker room). A few years ago the quality was more satisfactory for me. Perhaps my level of requirement has increased… For lunch in the splendid rest room/bar, it would be nice to present the drinks and salads menu. The service did not know how to tell us about the wine, we do not ask much for such an establishment. The message must be constructive and I am certain that the spa teams will improve the experience of its customers. Available to discuss with management.

September 13, 2022Superb place Congratulations to the staff for their kindness and professionalism. I had lunch at the restaurant, very good and refined cuisine, it was a professional lunch. I will come back with pleasure.

September 10, 2022This exceptional place has lost its prestige. The staff does its best but does not offer the service and benefits expected of a 5-star palace. It's hard to find a member of staff who knows how to speak English, as for the quality of the dishes presented, the cuisine is much better in the restaurants of the city! If this mythical place does not quickly raise the bar, it risks losing all its loyal and demanding clientele.
Christeo Collet
August 28Exceptional place, steeped in history. The rooms are very comfortable. The restaurant, with a fabulous view of the sea, serves refined and exquisite cuisine. The spa is very nice, special mention to the very cozy rest room. It is a palace worthy of the name, thanks also, beyond the magic of the place, to the exceptional quality of the staff who will make your stay unique!

+very nice staff beautiful charming hotel and quiet
-it should be mentioned that on Mondays and Tuesdays the restaurant is closed and customers are asked to go and find a table elsewhere… charging for a room in advance deserves a minimum of transparency…

May 4, 2023Place full of magic and refinement. The welcome is up to par, the gastronomy exceptional and the outdoor environment vast enough to stretch your legs and admire the centuries-old trees.

April 25, 2023Very nice hotel in a very pleasant park. That said, the brewery is really not at the level of a relay and castles. Industrial and frozen food from appetizer to dessert. Brewery service also to be reviewed in relation to the standard of the establishment.

April 14, 2023The setting of the hotel is absolutely sublime, the restaurant menu is not up to the mark. Several dishes did not seem to me to be in season (artichokes, raspberries, rhubarb). Also, it would be good if the restaurant offered the possibility of tasting a variety of wines from the region (by the glass) that go best with each dish. It is indeed a pity that tourists like me cannot take advantage of such a restaurant to take a tour of Burgundy wines by tasting several wines by the glass but have to choose a bottle among dozens. The sommelier was surprised by my request but finally "played the game" without leaving the 3 white wines and 3 red wines offered by the glass.

March 22., 2023Don't need money. Not worth dwelling on or devoting time to. Price request email sent and deleted without having been read, no professionalism in the processing of personal or professional requests, prefer any guest house in the area, you will be better considered and by the same token, better treated! It's no use calling them, they hang up on you without further ado. And, without being specified elsewhere, they are closed in January ♂️

December 15thAn exceptional site which unfortunately does not offer services that live up to its ambitions. Welcomed very kindly by the receptionist, we were upgraded to a room that was shabby, however, the bedding was not very comfortable, stains on the headboard of the four-poster bed, bathtub with a damaged shower screen where the shower palm does not support the pressure...in short, we expect See you better in a Relais et Châteaux appellation... I will quickly describe the restaurant at the very standard monks' bistro (after being dislodged, while we were talking, from the lounge where we were sipping an excellent bottle of Santenay) with a soup of pumpkin with an egg that was not perfect, a decent stew and a baba that was too spongy. Only the sommelier gives good advice and takes his time, good wines Breakfast without much originality It was a gift box but given the prohibitive price of the room (365€) and dinner (200€) for such a sum it should be almost perfect Not accessible to people with reduced mobility

September 16, 2022Very beautiful abbey, very well maintained, very beautiful park with the possibility of resting on the scattered deckchairs for a siesta at the edges of the fountains, beautiful tastefully decorated rooms, beautiful spaces, charming little lounges. Balneotherapy bath in the bathroom. Staff very available and very pleasant. Ultra comfortable bedding Excellent dinner at 1131 Super sommelier. River a stone's throw away with the possibility of cycling on loan from the hotel on the banks of the Ouche.

July 20, 2022Needless to say, the setting is just magnificent. Garden and park maintained perfectly. We also really appreciated our room and the just perfect bedding. We also ate very well. However, there was a big downside to the service, which tended to annoy us quite a lot throughout our stay. Most of the establishment's young staff lack a lot of experience, leading to significant shortcomings on several occasions during the stay. Forgetting during the service on the terrace, no explanation about the breakfast that we waited almost 30 minutes before we understood that we had to go to an interior gallery to get it (despite the table service of the cafes), and lack of common sense everything along the serve. Table service in gastronomy however impeccable, especially for the wine and the dishes. Please indicate that all outdoor areas are non-smoking before booking the stay. Only two places on small sofas in the park are smoking and these places are popular! However, there is no sign indicating this. No ashtrays throughout the complex. Moreover, smokers are quickly "resolved" by the young staff even though we are outside and on an empty terrace, outside meal times. Another lack of common sense. A smoker is not a plague victim, but a customer like any other who has paid for his stay. We will definitely be back, but it is true that when we spend a sizeable amount for a one night stay, we can expect better service. See you soon.

June 28, 2022Establishment that is not up to its services and especially the prices … When we booked by phone, we were told a Junior suite room (because the only one remaining) with jacuzzi and shower; on arrival we had the creancey suite with a bath which is by the way not really accessible. The bathroom socket didn't work and the light in the small living room was flickering. For a room at 560€, it's annoying… - During our reservation we also asked for a bottle of champagne when we arrived in the room… and this one had been forgotten. Then served with wet glasses, without sweets… this is not up to the level of Relais & Chateaux services! - We then ate at the restaurant with a signature menu in food and wine pairing… The quality of the food was exceptional, nothing to complain about! the wines chosen were also in perfect harmony with the dishes. However to charge a bottle of sparkling water 7€ in addition to the menu + 1 coffee at 7€… This seems exaggerated! After my stay I then sent these negative points to Relais&Chateaux as well as to the owners of the abbey - May's once again no return, no excuses... A service which is therefore not worthy of an establishment either of status.

June 2, 2022Very well maintained hotel that deserves a stop. The garden is superb. Beautiful starry table. The staff are friendly and efficient. We always have the feeling of being part of a welcoming house

May 6, 2022Beautiful setting, the decoration is authentic, the staff very pleasant, the service impeccable. The abbey is laid out in such a way as to preserve the magic of this spiritual place. The rooms are very cozy and the balneotherapy in the bathroom allows you to relax in complete privacy. The gourmet restaurant is a cocoon and the food is very good. The portions are generous despite the number of dishes. The flavors are married with refinement, a beautiful tasting.

+Quality of service and reception. "Palace" style and the hotel clearly has style. Breakfast extra but magnificent view and nothing is missing. Possibility of dining on the terrace with sea view for brasserie prices. Electric bike rental and good advice from the concierge.
-Dimly lit rear bedroom "at the end of the corridor" (sometimes wondering if there are no "booking" rooms and rooms for direct reservations??). We have the impression of being punished a bit despite an already rather high-end room rate of 333 eur per night without breakfast. Value for money not extraordinary because many supplements (breakfast, parking, ..). Probably linked to the high season. This is a very personal opinion but we have observed that the decent wearing of a bathrobe, authorized at breakfast, is not a science or an education shared by all. Seeing the hairy torso through an ill-fitting bathrobe of a table neighbor who seems to be breakfasting in a bathrobe and sandals as comfortably as at home is unfortunately part of the risk that a 5-star hotel runs when it is resting solely on the education and good behavior of its clients. It clearly lacks class in such a hotel but linked to today's world.

June 23, 2023We did everything outside the hotel because we didn't want to stay there.

May 24, 2023So expensive for so little?
+The setting
-Simple and non-personalized reception. Did I really pay 2500€ for 4 nights for hello, are you parked far? Bring your suitcases here and we will help you…. And no gift on arrival. Similarly all activities are not included hotel guest or not! I didn't appreciate it. No one to present to us what could be understood. The breakfast is just fine. Make sure you respect the mask or the sanitary pass. I saw people coughing and blowing their noses all the time. The swimming pool…ahhh the swimming pool…half taken up by your children's lessons. Hardly the place as soon as we are 3…. Must warn. So. Thank you and good luck with improving. The staff will have to make an effort. The women / men of cleaning are them, Very sympathetic nerves and with our listening. THANKS.

February 27, 2023the room is nice but small because the 23 m² actually includes the toilet and the bathroom so the sleeping area is smaller. The service is great. The location of the hotel is perfect even if the room faces the back and not the beach (it's a question of budget).

+It is an exceptional hotel by its location on the beach and 15 minutes walk from Saint Malo by the beach, by its top-of-the-range aquatic activities, by its swimming pool with sea water heated to 30°, by the calm surrounding the hotel, by its caring staff. In addition, the breakfast room has an exceptional view. Finally it is quite simple to park around the hotel for free. It is clear we like this hotel and if it is expensive, it is totally deserved.

+No negative comments can be made. A considerate, smiling staff who serve you with kindness and professionalism, all in this wonderful setting of the Sillon de Saint-MALO, cradled by the sea, can only leave the memory of a superb moment and the desire to return.
-Two small things: the signage in the hotel is not always easy to "follow". the wine list at Cape Horn is a little limited.

-Fairly simple room, we expected better. Bed too hard we left with back pain. Not a real king size bed but two beds pushed together. Restaurant la verrière expeditious service starter main course cheese dessert in less than an hour looks more like a nursing home canteen than a restaurant, dishes without interest. Cape horn a little better. Covid suggestion: a plexiglass plate to protect the cheese given the average age of your customers to limit the risks. The aquatonic course not included in the price but a nice experience. Not too many explanations upon arrival

+The place is very beautiful combining the charm of the old and the modernity in the decoration, the location is top, the cleanliness is at the level of the standard and the reception for the hotel and catering part is perfect
-the crowded and very noisy spa area and the cold reception in the spa service. No one explains to you the access you are entitled to when you arrive. the rooms are open so potentially free access, but once inside we know how to explain to you dryly that you have no right to be there. so bad point for this part and it is not worthy of an establishment of this kind
Pierre
November 16, 2022An establishment that no longer deserves its 5 stars.
+The friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness and the location of the hotel.
-- THE LOCATION: even if it remains indisputably privileged, other hotels almost adjoining, also by the sea, more modest but very correct offer the same view/location. - THE BEDROOM (approx €484/night without breakfast): its comfort is rudimentary given the price and standing: layout of the bathroom (the door opens against the bathtub), significant presence of a bidet (it's time to redo the rooms!?), low cost hotel hair dryer fixed on a base on the wall, maintenance of the equipment (in particular rust on the towel dryer). - THALASSOTHERAPY: chain treatments, blasé staff (who sterilize the cabin while you are still getting dressed) and even sometimes unfriendly (during our cervical care on 28/12, the woman was very dry and Unfriendly, too bad! We were relieved that this treatment was over! Too bad) Nevertheless, the staff in the shop and at the thalasso reception are exceptional! - THE RESTAURANT (non-gastronomic) "La Verrière" offers 2 menus that are quite reasonable and perfect value for money (approx €30 and €40) and the dishes are fine and very good!

October 30, 2022Perfect
+Very comfortable and quiet room, remarkable breakfast, caring staff, appreciated gym.
-Nothing, just one downside: it was not clearly indicated to us that we would be charged a flat rate for the week, if we had known we would have left our car in the hotel car park every day.

July 11, 2022A little break for my spouse and myself that we really appreciated, we liked everything, from the room to the treatments, including dinner and breakfast. The staff is great. It remains a budget but the service is there.
Bruno de Ferrieres
July 7, 2022Reception a little difficult because we were made to wait until 15 p.m. when the room was ready and our treatments began at 15:30 p.m. The rest of the stay was very pleasant and we thank the manager who was very understanding following a problem encountered. Very nice room staff. Pay attention to kitchens and respect for health. The young restaurant staff (trainees?) is not sufficiently supervised. Very good mention for Ludovic, attentive and understanding. We will be back for the 10th time.

July 2, 2022Very pleasant stay, very good aquatonic marine course. Very clean quiet room with good value for money, very good breakfast buffet rather complete. The meals at the 2 hotel restaurants are correct, without being exceptional, special mention for the desserts. Friendly staff, except at Cape Horn at dinner, not very smiling.
Vincent DELATTRE
June 25, 2022The level of expectation is relative to the 5 * classification If the contacts with the teams were excellent, the room would deserve a renovation. The catering is of a very good standard despite some unexplained expectations. Reception's refusal to let us take a pocket collection book from the library is a surprising commercial clumsiness.

May 10, 2022Stay at the top. Everything was perfect: the room with a sea view. All the staff for friendliness, availability, efficiency, discretion and so on. +Breakfast at the top! Access to the beach and shops at the exit of the Hotel Forgotten a watch in the room which was immediately returned to me

May 21, 2023I really like Cabourg and this establishment, but the quality/price ratio is becoming unacceptable.
+the hotel is beautiful and very well located.
-the service is not up to par for an establishment of this range, waiting time at dinner and error in the menu, cleaning ladies talking aloud in the corridors...in the morning, cleaning carts staying in hallways all day...

May 8, 2023Beautiful hotel! Second stay in this establishment and we can only recognize the exception of the place, the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the reception and the service! The hotel is ideally located, the breakfast exceeds your imagination, the bar is top. A stay here, you will be satisfied for sure! I highly recommend this establishment!!

April 25, 2023The charm of Marcel
+The location in the heart of Cabourg, facing the sea. The comfort of the rooms. A superb bar and lobby (even if the piano is missing!). The quality of the bed and an excellent breakfast.
-Room prices are still a bit expensive, even with a garden view. To be returned at 12 p.m. when we were on a Monday. No special attention from the staff and especially the deckchairs on the beach could be made available free of charge for the afternoon because there was no one on Monday and the price of the rooms is already therefore.
Nathalie
April 23, 2023To be chosen for its location.
+Very welcoming staff, also the breakfast staff. The location is ideal. The room is spacious and the hotel is very quiet.
-For this price the bathroom has really been renovated, a shower would be nice, a bathtub with a shower curtain is really very average. The bed has a mattress pad in a material that makes you sweat a lot, too bad because otherwise the mattress is comfortable. I really think that the price is high and that we pay above all for the location.

-Old-fashioned decor. Curtains from the 80s, equipment from another era. At this level of hospitality, the minimum would be to get up to speed. the hotel is in the same condition as it was 40 years ago.

March 21., 2023Very pleasant
+Everything else.
-My computer could not send emails despite the intervention of 3 staff members and this for 4 days!! The breakfast at 35 euros for a person who takes a latte with a buttered slice of bread seems excessive to me. You should modulate.

March 16., 2023Good memory due to the history of the hotel but is below some other 5 star hotels
+The setting and history of the hotel
-For a 5-star hotel, it was unacceptable to have a chipped footboard, traces of limestone in the shower stall and dirt on the paint in the bedroom. The floor of the toilets and the bathroom had stains. Not reassuring either to be alone in the sauna and that there is not a person from the spa who stays in case of a problem.

February 22, 2023We went to the Spa for a duo massage this afternoon and it was very pleasant. The two young women who took care of us were adorable and very professional. Decidedly this great hotel lives up to its reputation, we are always very kindly received it is a real pleasure. Many thanks to all the staff.

February 17, 2023One word PERFECT
+The people at reception, at breakfast, in the restaurant and in housekeeping are the main assets of the Grand Hotel. They listen to you, are present, warm and always with a smile (it feels good). Then the bedroom is spacious. The bedding is top notch. An elevator adds a plus because in Cabourg it is quite rare. The breakfast buffet is well supplied and the view of the beach is a plus. The restaurant's cuisine is good, too bad the custard has turned (but it can happen) the rest, whether meat, fish or shellfish, is tasty.
-I would have liked to have had a shower rather than a bath.

February 4, 2023Stay at the Grand Hotel de Cabourg
+The reception of the staff, the architecture of the building is sumptuous.
-The service in the restaurant was very uneven, the butler is very professional and very pleasant but the rest of the team was not in osmosis, we felt the strong pressure that there is between them... rather unpleasant. The superior sea view room is not decorated, for a 5 star we were extremely disappointed. A large room with a bed in the middle, it lacks idea and comfort.

February 2, 2023Mythical but not idyllic
+Magnificent historic hotel, central, beautiful, very well maintained, faithful to Proust. Idyllic location (in the center of a dyke and magnificent beaches) Excellent catering (Balbec restaurant and room service), in a mythical "aquarium" Very friendly, helpful, courteous staff. Very nice room, very large
-with the covid crisis, certain services and products were reduced to a minimum (no direct access to the beach for example) The regret also of not having been able to have access to TV channels / platforms like Canal+ or Netflix. Bed a little hard.

January 28, 2023NICE ESTABLISHMENT, BUT HYGIENE TO BE REVISED URGENTLY
+The location is ideal because at the seaside and directly overlooking the promenade by the beach. Restaurant with a very pleasant sea view.
-The condition of the bathroom and furniture in general. We ended up in a handicapped room, which we were not informed about, low light switches, damaged furniture, and a dirty shower, which we think is inappropriate for an establishment like this.

+Spacious room with sea view. Only one window
-Value for money. benefits -and mainly breakfast- not up to the price.

January 20, 2023For the price, I would say disappointing.
+We appreciated having been contacted a few days before to warn us that 2 twin beds were no longer available, which the Sofitel in Lyon had not done. We enjoyed the sea view, the calm upstairs.
-However, we were disappointed because when we arrived on Sunday May 8, there was not only no parking space left in front of the hotel, but in addition, we wanted to unload the car and it was complicated. Luckily the valet was very friendly and parked the car in the garage. Due to the fact that there are stairs, no trolley at the hotel. In the hall, there was a group and it was a happy "mess". The Grand Hotel has, like many hotels, fallen low by filling the establishment with just anyone. However, at noon, the restaurant was not open. We don't come to eat at the bar or any other room. Last point: a bidet belongs to the French way of life. There would have been room in the bathroom. The bed duvets were winter duvets; it was really hot.
Perrine
January 13, 2023We stayed during the Pentecost weekend, the hotel was full and yet the room was very quiet. Acoustic insulation, thanks to the interior door of the room in particular, is excellent. The room was spacious, bright and very clean. The floor staff, reception, room service and luggage storage were very friendly. The restaurant was full during the whole stay but the room service is perfect: fast, delicious and very friendly! Too bad we were not offered it at the reception when we were told that the restaurant was full... Big point of vigilance!! The vegetable casserole, indicated as being vegan on the menu, is cooked in butter! And therefore far from being vegan, which can be dangerous without vigilance in the case of allergies! But the chef kindly prepared one without butter and delicious to order! The big downside: a non-existent and cold reception at breakfast! As requested, we had indicated our breakfast time (7:30 am) but no one was present to welcome us or take our orders. We waited 15 minutes without anyone taking care of us and when I was finally able to intercept a waitress, she reproached me for not reporting to me when I arrived; implying that it was my fault. The service was colder, unlike the service at the bar or in the room, smiling and friendly. Disappointment also regarding the welcome drink offered to members of the Accor loyalty program: it appeared to be offered on my personal space but in fact only applies to Gold members and above... In summary, a very nice establishment which should pay more attention to detail to be excellent!

December 30thFair
+The location by the sea. The room was large and clean. Very nice staff.
-Atmosphere not at all summer rather sad. The restaurant is only open from Thursday to Sunday during the summer period. When you go to the bar because you arrive quite late and you have not been able to have lunch, food is not served before 19:00 p.m. in a large hotel in the middle of summer. For breakfast, you have to give your breakfast time in the middle of the holiday period, (you never know when you will wake up), and you are received by a matron, and directed to a table with a plate and a set cutlery (how do I not want to put my eggs on the same plate as fruit and bread? , overcooked, lukewarm with a tomato sauce that looks like it came straight out of a tin We are in Covid times and it is certainly not easy to organize a hotel, but then again it seems that it It's up to the customer to adapt and not the other way around.

+Everything is superb. We have adored. And big room!

+All services: restaurant, breakfast, bar. The welcome, the friendliness, the helpfulness of the staff. The beauty of the setting.
-The "cleaning" of the room was not done after the first night. No renewal of water bottles. By e-mail, I had asked for a room of a higher standard in case one had to become available: I had no response (of course, I would have understood a refusal, an impossibility). Annoying engine noise during the night: was it the air conditioning?

December 6thMagnificent view from the standard room. Unfortunately there is only one balcony to admire the panorama. The room was ok with a very large bathroom. The problem is that it was separated from another room by a single door. The next room was also occupied, so we lived with the neighbors (2 nights). Good quality breakfast and pleasant staff although quite distant. It is mainly the location that makes the place interesting, but in my opinion the hotel does not deserve its category. I did not live the palace experience.

October 10, 2022We came to spend an afternoon with people with multiple disabilities, we were transported by 2 Masters equipped with ramps for wheelchairs and a kangoo, so we parked in the spaces reserved for people with disabilities, one of the employees clearly told us that we were not allowed to park here because the places were reserved for the hotel except that there was no sign indicating the contrary and we were clearly told to go and park elsewhere. I find it unacceptable knowing that there was no other place reserved for disabled people. What use is it if we ourselves who accompany people with disabilities and who try to make them travel as we can if we cannot benefit from it. I just think that our vehicles do not give a good image.. It would be wise to review the reception of people with disabilities, they are people who have the same rights as everyone else... Long live discrimination!!

October 9, 2022a pleasant weekend all the same despite the weather which was not at the rendezvous. it is to live again
+the reception and availability of staff; the comfort and location of the establishment.
-we could not have a reservation in the hotel restaurant which, it seems, was full and must be reserved weeks or even months in advance. Moreover, while we had made a reservation for the sauna the day before, we were informed in the morning that following a technical problem it could no longer take place.

September 9, 2021The Grand Hotel de Cabourg - MGallery Hotel Collection is a luxury establishment located on the seafront, offering a breathtaking view of the ocean. The exceptional location of the hotel is undoubtedly one of its main assets. Guests can enjoy panoramic sea views from their rooms, which is a real plus for those looking to relax and rejuvenate. The room I occupied was spacious and very quiet, overlooking the casino gardens. It was the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate after a long day of sightseeing and activities. The breakfast served at the hotel was simply outstanding. The options were varied and delicious, and I particularly enjoyed being able to enjoy my meal facing the sea. Reviews and Ratings Top Hotel France
We had a most pleasant stay at the Hotel Le Cep. As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed by the hotel staff who showed great kindness and great availability. We were quickly installed in our room, which was very comfortable, tastefully decorated and equipped with a private bathroom.
We were then able to take advantage of the many services offered by the hotel, including the Marie de Bourgogne spa, the gourmet restaurant and the bar in the evening. The spa is a place of relaxation and well-being that offers a variety of quality services, and the Loiseau des Vignes restaurant is a real delight for the taste buds.
The restaurant and spa staff are very helpful and attentive, and the quality of the products offered is excellent. We also appreciated the fact that the hotel is close to the main tourist and cultural sites of Beaune, which allowed us to take full advantage of the city and its surroundings.
In short, we recommend Hotel Le Cep for a romantic getaway or a wellness break in Burgundy. It is a luxury establishment that has managed to combine comfort and authenticity, while preserving its historic charm. This is the perfect place for travelers looking for an upscale experience.

June 8, 2023One word: disappointment
+Its location The friendliness of the staff The charm of the common areas
-The discomfort of the bedding for a 5-star establishment The age of the sanitary facilities with an impossible to regulate shower and pipe noises A breakfast at the level of low-category chain hotels
Bruno
June 7, 2023establishment which wants to be of standing but which does not give itself the means, disappointing
+atmosphere, tradition, beautiful establishment
-We chose the most expensive room, it's not 5 star at all. Aging rooms. But the worst is the catastrophic room service for an establishment that wants to be upscale. Charcuterie platter made up of cooked ham and disgusting low-end charcuterie. Ditto cheese plate. really shameful for a 5 * located in the center of Beaune and that we order a good bottle in the room. Health restriction or not, it's really not admissible.

June 6, 2023Le Cep in Beaune I hesitate to talk about it and keep this place only for me Before your arrival, we organize everything for you and during your stay everyone is very caring with kindness, the pleasure of doing well and always with a smile … it's like a secret place in the heart of the city, the hotel is steeped in history as if out of time but with optimal comfort… The small green stone courtyard is bathed in light… It calls for laziness and just sit down to enjoy the moment… we will be back very soon so keep room 123 for us

March 21., 2023I could not judge the quality of the hotel because we did not sleep there nevertheless we do not recommend the bar. Bar located in the middle of the passage, little choice, the person who served us did not know anything about it (hold the ball with his hand instead of his foot), the glass was not served in front of us, bottle of wine no presented to the customer, bistro peanuts on the table, not even unpacked. Absolutely not the standard of a 5 star except the prices.

+Incredible hotel. Magnificent building, comfortable, everything is done to make you feel good. A special mention for the always attentive staff. Spacious room, tastefully decorated in the style of the building. Full breakfast, varied, fresh, local, homemade products. A very cozy atmosphere, we loved it.

October 22, 2022A few hiccups when we arrived. We were 3 and the room was prepared for 2 people. The spa is an extra despite a high price for the suite. Room on the street side very noisy Breakfast correct in value for money. Catching up with the noise employees, we had another room to sleep in peace. Word from the boss the next day with a bottle as a gift for the apology! We may try again to see if it was an exceptional miss.

-the services, the staff not those of a 5 star even if nice. We also found long black hair on the tiled wall in the shower. The safe didn't work. September 16, 2022Hotel and the room as well as the welcome at the top! Worthy of a 5 star. Great service and staff availability throughout our stay. I highly recommend. Right in the center of the city, no need for a car to visit the city of Beaune.

May 13, 2022Great location, top service and staff! A very nice experience at the SPA. The decoration of the rooms is not to my taste and it lacks a "corner" swimming pool... otherwise 5/5 without that.

May 2, 2022We were very warmly welcomed by the Cep hotel in Beaune when we were almost out of electric car, without any compensation. Nevertheless, we had breakfast inside, in a very warm and luxurious environment, with very welcoming and caring staff. We live only 50km from this hotel, and it is very likely that I will book a romantic night in this wonderful place.
Gasnal Alix
April 28, 2022The rooms are old-fashioned, dusty… the spa is a disaster: steam room that smells musty, sauna in the parking lot, sensory shower full of tartar and half of the functions of which don't work… I don't understand the 5*….
Nathalie GUILBERT
April 16, 2022Well located hotel but not worth the 5 stars, overrated. At this price we expect top-of-the-range services. Old, outdated rooms. Tv malfunctioning. Showers and toilets from the 80s…. A complete and tasteful renovation would not be too much. No fresh flowers, only artificial. positive point: the 2 m bed and the pleasant garden, the charming staff.

+The view from our room was wonderful
-I had asked if we could change rooms. The manager looked at me a bit askance and told me that the hotel was full. Which I can understand but you can say it with a smile. I explained to him that in March I ruptured my cruciate and internal ligaments, hence my request. (I specify that when I booked I was not injured) It should also be noted that there are steps everywhere. The staff a little left (unqualified or unqualified staff). Nevertheless, we understand given the difficulties in recruiting The carpets in the dining room and the stairs to access the rooms.

November 25, 2022Idyllic setting, service to review
+The view is always impressive. The infinity pool is awesome. Clearly, this justifies stopping off at the Chèvre d'Or.
-The staff is not up to a 5 star. It may be related to the Covid and the understaffing of the establishment. We were asked again 4 times for the same cocktail, we were brought our beer which had already been served to the neighbor (very average in the Covid period). The staff allows itself too much colloquial vocabulary, yet we are not too careful about it. In terms of infrastructure, the hotel is fine - but it deserves a bit of a refresh.

May 3, 2023Magnificent hotel, big disappointment with the Pierre Roy room
+The setting and the architecture are magnificent. The 2 swimming pools offer moments of relaxation to both enjoy the park and the sun, as well as an environment dedicated to relaxation, warm and cozy inside. The restaurant offers a great menu with impeccable service. The staff is very pleasant. Delicate attention for our baby with a soft toy from the Chateau in the bed.
-The Pierre Roy room absolutely does not correspond to the photos proposed in the carousel of the category on Booking. Austere and devoid of decoration, this room is a real disappointment! Only the bathroom was appreciable. If this room had been offered to me when booking, I would not have booked!

March 6., 2023Historic and chic atmosphere
+What a joy to finally find a hotel with a historic character (a XNUMXth century castle, magnificently restored, surrounded by a serene and extremely well maintained park!) which is not invaded by modern design or bling bling furniture, a hotel which respects its period of origin, which does not mix everything, in other words which does not transform magnificent living rooms into post-industrial station halls!... If you come to a castle it is for the Chateau atmosphere, not for the modern atmosphere of a "chain hotel" ....
-Frankly nothing; maybe the ultra-modern chairs in the breakfast room, which are more waiting room chairs, in my opinion...

January 2, 2023Superb place!!! but not a magical experience...
+the welcome and help from the valet, the new designer suites as well as the wellness area, the setting of the magnificent castle!!!
-The restaurant service is not in line with what is expected of such a place…and in particular with a menu at 150 Euros, which is also very good…The layout of the tables outside even less, getting stuck against a tree with a field of view limited to a fountain while one is in an idyllic space with a panoramic view is very disappointing… Poor management of breakfasts, no more pastries or orange juice…

Reviews and Ratings Top Hotel France
Our team had the chance to test the La Réserve Paris Hotel & Spa during a one-night stay. The staff was very helpful and answered all our questions and requests. We had the opportunity to explore the hotel facilities and they accommodated our needs with a smile.
The room we booked was spacious and had modern amenities. The view of the city was spectacular and the bed was extremely comfortable. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast served on the terrace in a beautiful setting.
The spa was a very relaxing experience and we were able to enjoy therapeutic massages and facials to complete our stay.
In conclusion, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious, elegant and exclusive place in Paris. The ideal location, comfortable rooms and top-of-the-range services offer a unique and incomparable hotel experience.

January 15, 2023After spending 1 night in a hotel suite, hell! Pun have bed, toilet with remains of hair, I don't know from whom, the guests didn't want to hear anything!! I wouldn't have gotten a refund for not even sleeping... not to mention the sewage backing up to my room. Harmful hotel, for 3000€ per night I would have done better... it's not even worth 100€ per night.

January 3, 2023I tested the spa, already very well received by phone where you can feel the professionalism and seriousness of the staff (apart from some difficulties in reaching the spa team). Very responsive following the reservation on the site where we are contacted directly by email and the exchange is fast and efficient. On arrival, as I had not looked carefully at the description of the place, what a nice surprise to see that we are actually arriving in a palace! The place is very beautiful and the staff is very well trained. You feel well taken care of and it looks like they were just waiting for us, that we were the first customers (everything was clean as if the place hadn't been used yet when we were in the middle Sunday afternoon !!). It is very pleasant. Everything is very well explained, the decoration is very beautiful, everything is of high quality (their cream smells divine and pdt several hours!). The place is quiet and very clean. The masseuses respect what you want and the care is very serious and professional. We had a great time and we will definitely be back (a very big thank you for your gesture for my husband's birthday!). MM

December 1thRelaxing.
+Disliked: Plain breads and croissants. Uncomfortable terrace tables: the bars at the bottom of the tables prevent the legs from having a comfortable position. Aimé: The speed and kindness of the service. The geographical location of the hotel and the very good comfort of the rooms.
-The frankly uncomfortable tables in the garden and the quality of the breads and croissants.

November 29, 2022Luxury, beauty and delicious refined dishes. We are pampered by the discreet and attentive waiters. I recommend that you ask to see the library and the spa (without the presence of customers). You spend time there having the impression, thanks to the different flavors, of having traveled. A word of advice: let yourself be tempted!

November 16, 2022I had already fallen in love with this establishment after a few visits for various events. But the team really made my heart capsize during my last stay! I would like to thank Inès and Alexane very much for their dedication to ensuring that we stay in the best conditions. I would not hesitate to return to stay at your establishment in the future! Don't change, everything was perfect.

As a member of the Top Hotel France team, we had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Lutetia. We were truly impressed with the warm welcome and helpful staff at this luxury establishment. The room was spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. Modern conveniences were close at hand and service was very prompt.
The restaurant and bar were excellent, with carefully prepared food and delicious drinks. The gym was spacious and well equipped and the spa and wellness center was luxurious and quiet. +When we arrived, we were expected and greeted by our last name as if we were regulars at the hotel. The staff charming, smiling and very professional. Our requests were met to the letter. The perfect Junior Suite with an incredible view. Spacious with very tasteful decor. We even had pillowcases with our initials. This Hotel has been very well renovated and deserves its title of Palace. Kudos to the team.
-Nothing to say except, maybe for breakfast if it was possible to take it at the Hotel itself and name at the Brasserie Lutétia.

May 9, 2023Superb hotel, excellent welcome, but stingy breakfast... too bad!
+Very nice hotel completely redone and therefore very well equipped. A very friendly and available staff
-The breakfast is shamefully expensive over 50.- euros per person, to include only the basics (pastries, dairy products, drinks etc). Everything else is extra (salmon, eggs, cold meat etc.) it's petty. A generous buffet at the height of the hotel would seem more suitable. Book your room at the Lutétia, but go have your breakfast elsewhere, it's advice

April 25, 2023Très bien
+The place is mythical, so even if the confinement prohibits taking advantage of many common areas (bars, restaurants), the magic still works. Do not hesitate to book the spa / swimming pool for 1 hour: privatized in times of Covid, what a privilege! Quality of reception and helpfulness of the irreproachable staff
-Disappointment with the in-room dining service: excellent dinner but one of the dishes was cold, good but sparse breakfast, not related to the high price

March 26., 2023Very well placed
+Renovated and well placed Too bad the rest does not follow
-Unpleasant impression of minimal service (bars and restaurants reduced to their simplest expression) With service unworthy of a 5 star Service and breakfast just at 2 star level (the virus has a good back ...) Staff not trained in this type of service Damage establishments
Christine
March 9., 2023All right
+Well placed, warm place, very good but excessive room service.
-The cost of parking for our cars to ultimately stay outside. No valet parking in the morning, so it was up to us to put our suitcases on our own and look for our car in the rain .... more than average in a 5 star hotel. Air conditioning very difficult to regulate in the room (a lot of night noise). Rooms with a lot of loss of space due to the many cupboards (useless). I expected something else for this palace.

February 26, 2023Disappointed with the establishment for the price and prestige we expected
+The Spa area is incredible, the heated swimming pool at 29 is a real pleasure. Cold water basin closed on the other hand
-Small rooms, no films on demand on the tv, calcified shower which prevents the necessary pressure, bathroom window which is blocked, dark room, no small attention such as chocolate or other that we find in 5 * but a vulgar little bottle of evian. Shabby breakfast (photo attached) for 58 euros per person, it is more generous and just as good at the ibis ... too bad

February 5, 2023A legendary hotel with the comfort and services of the best of the 21st century
+The Lutetia manages to fully assume its unique heritage and its status as a mythical 5 star on the Left Bank while offering the best services of a 21st century luxury hotel. Despite its impressive size, little gems (like the library with its fireplace) offer more cozy moments. The staff is very pleasant and very professional.
-It would be desirable to offer the possibility of ordering vegetarian and vegan dishes which would also be clearly indicated/identified on the various menus. Being vegan, the choice was extremely limited for the dishes and even more for the desserts (fruit salad) whereas today there are a multitude of vegan dishes and desserts. Ditto for wines and champagnes.

January 15, 2023A haven of luxury and peace
+Everything was perfect. The Lutetia is the very definition of the Palace. The reception is perfect, the room, the view of the Eiffel Tower, the Spa, the finishes, the staff is constantly attentive and anticipates our needs as much as possible, I was impressed. The restaurant is also good although I found the service too fast.
-The reception at the Spa could be a tad more smiling. It was the only time I had the feeling of being “evaluated”, even taken with a slight disdain. Maybe the effect of the mask?!?
Eric

December 13thFabulous
+The location in the capital, the magnificent spa with a large swimming pool at a very pleasant temperature. The upgrade to a junior suite. All the staff are very pleasant; our receptionist Olegs was really perfect. Thanks to him for his welcome.
-The breakfast menu printed on A4 sheets, not very 5 star… a QR code would be more modern and… hygienic in times of Covid.

May 30, 2022I had an exceptional stay in this magnificent palace located on the left bank. The staff was completely dedicated to satisfying the needs of the guests, from the moment of arrival until departure. I would like to express my deep gratitude to the teams who made my stay incredible and unforgettable. The room was spacious and bathed in light. The bar team offered excellent cocktails. The buffet breakfast was harmonious and offered an explosion of culinary flavors. Many thanks and see you very soon!
