The ciabatta bread is very good, the cocktails very generous and subtle. On the plate side, the dishes are good, the combinations match well... It's classic and effective. On the wine side, no risk taking either, we stay on the classic. Conclusion, a great experience overall in terms of the location, the quality of service, the standing of the establishment, but not really any great discoveries, except for this cooked wine served for dessert.

We are skeptical, but we are curious about the experience offered by Les Airelles Gordes. We were lucky enough to be upgraded and we sincerely thank Les Airelles for this great attention for our 20th anniversary. ** SUPERIOR ROOM VALLEY view The room is 29m² and offers a magnificent view of the valley, the outdoor swimming pool and the sunset. It is elegant and picturesque, dressed in antique furniture and a gallery of portraits. There is an office area, a dressing room, a small bathroom with bath, double basin and WC... nose glued to the towel dryer. The bedding is phenomenal and it's very well insulated. We enjoyed it very much! ** SWIMMING POOLS and SPA At the beginning of November, the weather is spring-like and you can swim in the outdoor swimming pool heated to 28°. It's very nice. Refreshments are offered, as well as sorbets. The indoor swimming pool is not to be outdone with a hammam corner and very nice sensory showers! Sweets are also available. We benefited from an absolutely fantastic signature massage, between relaxation and care. One of our best massages! ** BAR We had several aperitifs on the terrace. The cocktails are original and good. And the little cheese shortbreads are orgasmic! ** CATERING The breakfast buffet is neat and of high quality. The panorama is very pretty. We also ate at Glover. The quality/price ratio does not follow, we knew it at the opening by Jean-François Piège and it seemed to us to be more qualitative. That doesn't stop it from being good. We liked L'Orangerie more, where the dishes are original and tasty. Only downside: the smallness of the furniture imposing to eat folded up on oneself as if it were a doll's house. ** COMMONS AND LITTLE EXTRAS The historic building is superb. The places of passage are carefully decorated, adorned with old paintings and books evoking the pastoral history of the region. We feel good, a bit like in an "old house". Is the Palace really different from a 5 star? It's hard to say, but at Les Airelles Gordes, there are plenty of little touches everywhere, such as board and card games available to guests, the loan of a 2cv to visit the region, the cleaning of the car, delicacies and gifts offered during the stay, the minibar offered in the room... and all these attentions reinforce the feeling of being at home. The staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly, efficient and kind. The concierge and the valet are characters, we loved them! We also appreciated the presence of the General Manager of the hotel on arrival and departure. Without a doubt, we will come back because what does it feel good!

The evening we came, the wind was blowing so hard that the stemmed glasses were overturned... A star is missing because I think the value for money can be improved. The dishes are very well prepared and presented, but the prices are those of a star. The view is sublime, you really pay for the setting. It is a good address when you are in this beautiful region of the Luberon.

The service was long especially for the 2 chopped steaks and fries that we had ordered as a priority for the children, they arrived last after several complaints. And the rest of the dishes were disappointing.

+Very nice place, configuration of the atypical hotel, like a small village. Really great staff, kind and caring. the rooms are beautiful and well equipped. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect ... just a little higher than St-Tropez, opposite the hill of the Citadel and 3 min. walk from the Place des Lices. You feel really good in this hotel. Our dog was extremely well accepted.
-PLEASE NOTE: some rooms are located just above the discotheque which is located under the pool deck or the restaurant terrace. On Friday and Saturday, the noise and vibration pollution is COLOSSAL. It is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to sleep in these rooms until 5am. We had one of these rooms (422)...and the experience was quite unpleasant. Left at the reception around 2:30 am (after having tried everything to sleep: earplugs, cushion on the ears) we were immediately allocated another room just to end the night. And there, absolute calm. For the following night, the manager offered to move our belongings to a suite (therefore an upgrade) to compensate for the inconvenience of the first night. Deplorable that during check-in, no one thought to warn us of this KNOWN fact that the room initially allocated was subject to the nuisances of the nightclub. We would have changed right away. But then there was the good reaction of the hotel ... We will return to familiar ground next time. On the other hand, we went to Byblos Beach on Pampelonne beach on Saturday afternoon and were very disappointed with the welcome and the staff in general. The place is very beautiful, but for the rest...

My room was spacious and comfortable, but what really impressed me was the magnificent terrace which offered a breathtaking view of the bay of Saint-Tropez.
