Nevertheless two downsides, the first which is that of many hotels in general, is the day which passes on the sides of the curtains, not being able to be in total darkness is a disadvantage, the night is not as good as desired . And the second was that there was work in the hotel and we were not warned beforehand.

April 19, 2022GREAT Stay of 4 nights with my wife in this Hotel with unlimited access to their swimming pool/SPA/hammam/Sauna facilities and breakfast formula. The price is there but it is justified in view of the quality of the aquatic infrastructures, varied and available over wide opening hours. Breakfast that will delight everyone whether you are looking for gourmet or diet there is something for everyone (favorite for the honey on the shelf). The staff is courteous, smiling and discreet, always ready to respond to our requests, which is really very pleasant, thanks to them. The suite we had booked was also worth the price, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. A very good stay that I recommend.

The very spacious room, well appointed despite a non-existent decoration. I mention the small commercial gesture to compensate for the unbearable noise of the works after having complained at the reception. We would have preferred to be warned of the noise and the works at the time of the reservation, noise which sometimes started very early and not at 10 am as we were told. So this leaves a mixed opinion, very good and very bad.

-I called 1 week before to book the SPA and announce the time of our arrival in writing on the site. We arrived, we had the card to go to our room, except this one had not been made. You could see the dirty cups and the plaice of people on the bed. We went back down and waited 1 hour for our room and had to move the SPA where I found that there were a little too many people at the same time. But hey, I'll be back there because they just had a problem, bad day, bad time for them because they didn't have a cleaning lady that day. It was worth it even if it was not pleasant to wait. We had a good stay.

September 15, 2022One of my worst experiences in a hotel. - Arrival in the room, strong unpleasant smell. - Unbearable heat. I call the reception to indicate that the temperature is too high (because a message on the wall indicates that the temperature is not adjustable by the customer). They tell me that they will lower the temperature. Sure enough, on the thermometer screen, I see they changed the setting from 21 degrees to 17 degrees. However, this has absolutely no effect on the air conditioning. Still unbearable heat. - When taking a shower, bad surprise, the first towel I take is very dirty. (Google won't let me upload the photo…) - I go to the hotel restaurant for dinner, it was privatized for an event. So not available. - I have dinner outside, come back, the elevator is broken, I have to go up to my room by the stairs - 3 floors. - Smell still unpleasant and heat still unbearable. - In the night, at 4:55 am to be precise: fire alarm in the building. All customers of course go down to reception, where we learn that the alarm went off because a customer was smoking in his room, and that there was no fire. I couldn't get back to sleep. And to be honest, the positives: - the staff is very helpful. - the breakfast was ok.

The meals at the Bioz restaurant were delicious and the staff were very attentive. We were also able to take advantage of the activities offered by the hotel, including guided tours, bike rides and water sports on Lac du Bourget.

-there is no kettle in the room. pity that access to the spa is done in return for a supplement. Attention!!!.... for those who travel there with family: I made a reservation for 2 adults + 2 children on Booking in half board. No indication of half board on Booking, which rightly suggested that it included meals for ALL travellers, adults and children!! However, I was surprised to discover on my arrival at the hotel that half-board actually only included dinner for adults. In summary, I had to pay extra for the children's dinner. Management informed me that this often happened on Booking, that it was a computer bug and that I had to contact Booking again. Done, I'm waiting for a return from Booking. I would still like to thank the hotel, which made a gesture to me by not charging for the children's meals on the first day. Here is what was indicated on the confirmation of my reservation: Breakfast Breakfast is included in the price of the room. Lunch Lunch costs € 26 per person per night. The soundproofing with the outside is rather very good, but less so when the neighbors in the room think of themselves as the only hotel guests. The bedding is good, the rooms large enough, the bathroom small but efficient. Access to the "Au Bureau" restaurant for breakfast is clearly a plus. A little less convinced by the individual air conditioning/heating system which dries the air in the room a lot. I recommend this hotel.

The hotel restaurant was also excellent. We ate our meals there every day, and we were delighted by the quality of the dishes offered. The restaurant menu offered a variety of regional and international dishes, and we found all dishes to be very well presented and very tasty.
Finally, the location of the hotel was ideal for taking advantage of the activities and excursions offered in the region. The ski resorts of La Feclaz and Chambéry were only a few minutes away by car, and we were able to enjoy a wide variety of activities and cultural visits in the region.

The water is very cold (pool and outdoor pool), no bubbles in the outdoor pool and there are a lot of people. We can wait on the side for a while. There is only one hammam and it broke down. No sauna either. Good stay but the spa leaves something to be desired.

The NUXE Spa is horribly cold, the indoor pool insufficiently heated, no slippers provided, we go barefoot! Massages are poor, only one type of massage possible, no adaptation to client/needs. The reception and the service of the hotel are reduced to the strict minimum and the friendliness of the catering staff is very thin. The hotel does not meet the standards of a MERCURY. To avoid.

By doing a quick calculation, it would have been much more advantageous not to take half board and to book on an ad hoc basis. We pointed this out and when it came time to pay for our drinks, the hotel made a much appreciated gesture of goodwill. It would therefore be necessary to re-examine the principle of half board.

-The hair dryer that did not work, the toilet pusher very hard to handle, the mattress is at the end of its life but despite the hollows we slept relatively well. What bothered me as soon as I arrived at the hotel entrance was the smell of chlorine that came from the swimming pool and invaded the whole hotel. Except in the bedroom. Although the spa is included in our stay, we preferred to abstain, fearing a reaction to this concentration of chlorine. Also note, at breakfast, this board (about 3cm thick) under the offset tablecloth, where you must not put your plate down at the risk of spilling everything on yourself. Not very judicious at +-10cm from the edge. This happened to us, with the hot coffee. None of this detracts from the fact that we enjoyed these 2 days and my comment will, I hope, be constructive.

January 13, 2023We spent several days on full board. It was very good, the food and the service perfect. Our room was very large and quiet. The bathroom could use a little sprucing up. We really enjoyed the pool and the spa. I had a facial treatment and I really appreciated the professionalism and kindness of the person. Thank you to all this team from the reception to the waiter, waitress, cook, chambermaid, and the people I forget.
