Excellent breakfast with some homemade and (or local) products. Superb swimming pool on the 7th floor. Haven't tried the wellness area (optional at a price of 24 euros): it's not the question of the price but of the fairly large attendance at the places. Very pleasant and attentive staff. Near the thermal baths, the Allier river, parks. You can take long walks on the quays or the banks of the river.

A relaxing stay in a pleasant and comfortable hotel.
+We appreciate this hotel and now come here almost every year. So we begin to know and choose what suits us best. First time at this time of year though. There was therefore much more animation and people. - spacious and comfortable room with a view of the park, it's great! - bedding, the bed is very comfortable. - friendly staff. - The location of the hotel is very convenient. We drop off the car when we arrive and only pick it up when we leave. Everything can be done on foot (restaurant, nice walk along the park, city center) - the spa is one of the big positive points that made us choose this hotel, because you can access it directly from the hotel via a footbridge. - the swimming pool at this time of year is pleasant. But there are people mainly on the deckchairs. - the breakfast is very good and of high quality, we love it! Even if I find that it has lost a little over time (a little less choice). - we have everything on site, if you don't want to move around too much (bar, restaurant, spa, swimming pool, park, etc.)
-- the air conditioning did not work this year - value for money, average because everything is still very expensive - average restaurant. We tested it during our first stay in this hotel, but we did not find it to our liking. Even if it remains practical there are much better ones around. We haven't been back there since.

+The bedding ! Of a comfort...! The spacious room with a nice view from the 6th floor. Very clean. We were unable to test the thermal baths unfortunately for timing reasons. Reserved parking in front of the hotel (15€/24h) suitable for large cars. Places for electric cars but I only discovered this the next day :/ A short walk from the shops. Nice park in front of the hotel for a calm and peaceful walk.
-The breakfast is a little too expensive (28€/person) given the services and the choice. The eggs look like reconstituted, they were so floury. Friendly reception staff but does not give all the information spontaneously, you have to ask (for example, I had to ask how to access the car park, it was not offered to me when my car was in front of the entrance). Arrived at 21 p.m. on a Friday, no valet service, no help with luggage, even though these are basic services for a 5 star hotel. Room service: fairly limited choice of menu and more than average service, dishes and side dishes that are lacking, two place settings for 3 people..

+I know this hotel well, this is the 10th time I've been there. The Q/P ratio is excellent: a 5* for 200€. Of course, that doesn't mean anything, the services have nothing to do with a real Palace, that's the bare minimum, and that's already very good. Special mention to the "MyBed" beds, the most comfortable in the world.
-Mixed welcome, staff sometimes "trainee": polite, but knows nothing. "Is there a piano bar tonight?" -> "I don't know, sir". OK thanks. I politely asked for a room on the park side rather than the road, it's 20€ to pay, when honestly there was no one there (but hey, it's the rule, I respect). In the room for 2, there is only one espadrille (again, it's a detail, it's just a little painful). Otherwise I remembered before that Spa access was included, now you have to pay 40€ (per day, per room).

The reception, what reception in fact? Union minimum on customer reception. We are a name assigned to a room number. It is limited for rooms at this price. The breakfast is not great, nothing original except the very appetizing cheese platter. The staff in charge of the breakfast is nice without more, its price is too high compared to the quality. -We had dinner in the evening at the Blue Note in the Hotel, the N3 being complete. The service is far too long: * 1/4 hour to wait for the aperitif ordered. * And the bouquet, at least 1 hour to have "the plate of cheese and charcuterie to share". I think that there, we are not far from having the world record. Just an apology, but no commercial gesture. For this type of establishment I find it not very serious.

This year, I wanted to take half board: lunch and dinner. Diet meals are not very balanced. To review ! Thank you One Sunday I asked for a snack to take away because I had visitors. I was given a box with 2 slices of raw ham, 3 slices of sausage and 2 pickles!! Without bread ! Can do better. We found a fairer deal the next time. The staff in the dining room are very friendly and attentive. I'm still thinking about which option I'll choose next year. Need we remind you that 3 weeks in cure is not easy and can be uncomfortable.

We spent an excellent half day between sauna, thermal pool and three treatments. The rest room is divine! The 4-hand thermal rain massage could be three times better if something other than Vaseline was used, or if a shower with appropriate soap was offered. The soundproofing between the cabins needs to be reviewed and modernized the door handles/wallpapers and surfaces that look old everywhere! Otherwise kudos to the staff!

Hello, last year, we experienced care at Bourbon l Archambault; even without the sauna, the jacuzzi and the hammam, the treatments were much cheaper, of very good quality (in particular the massage of at least 40min), in a fixed price of 124€, and the character of the establishment more pleasant. Note that your rest room is very pleasant, as is your thermal water pool. But charging €1 for the disposable glass, isn't that petty? However, we appreciated the bag to carry our things! The care staff (mud) was very warm. However, we had a great time.

I was afraid of being disappointed by reading some reviews but in the end I enjoyed the hotel, the suite overlooking the park, the breakfast (not cheap either), and access to the spa. The hammam is not huge nor the sauna cabins. The hot tub is great. The hotel staff is very correct. The park behind the hotel is good for strolling with access to the docks.

Experience of Sunday, May 7, 17:45 p.m.: We return to the bar by the terrace to have a drink, 2 servers slumped around the counter cash register. We sit down at a table… seeing nothing coming, no waiter, no card, I say to my wife “I have time to go to the toilets” when I get back “ah you got the card! "Yes, we took him straight away to a lady accompanied to a table by someone from reception and concerning me, the waiter still hadn't seen me, so I allowed myself to speak a little loudly!" To ask him for one! » when she hands me the card my gaze observes the carpeted floor…. Littered with crumbs (even large pieces of bread) and from there I observe the entire floor of the room…. Same! Bread crumbs, sugar wrappers etc… leftovers from the lunch meal… but at 17pm!!!! Probably no vacuum cleaner in this establishment, luckily we didn't have a room!!! This cut my desire to drink… I closed the menu on our table and left the place….. at first sight it didn't bother anyone in the staff…. I specify a small detail: however… me… I was clean!!!

A meal in the chapel, an atypical place and perfectly equipped to receive customers to perfection. We who knew the chapel a long time ago before this welcome restoration, we focused on the idea of the architect to have highlighted by the choice of color of the structure of the internal dome, very original by the way, which, in our view, would rather deserve to be discreetly erased. But, the tastes and the colors??? We particularly appreciated the welcome from the pick-up of our car until our departure under a rainy sky which did not dampen the very beautiful experience we had during lunch. The staff gives you very friendly attention, combining unfailing professionalism and welcome availability. Regarding the meal, we appreciated the chef's creativity in each dish, but we had difficulty in perceiving the desired but not very obvious harmony of the Belles de Fontenay risotto whose flavor and consistency are annihilated by a sauce that appeals although tasty. For the rest, it was flawless with delicate and fragrant flavors that made our taste buds dance. The only complaint we would have at this price level is with the thermostats in the rooms, it is very difficult to get a temperature below 23 in the winter which was uncomfortable for us. It is with real pleasure that we stop off at this excellent address, both from a hotel and restaurant point of view. With regard to the rooms, the level of cleanliness, services and the quality of the materials reach excellence. In terms of reception, we note a constant presence borrows from a natural quality as well for the hotel part as restoration. The hotel and the rooms have been tastefully renovated. The rooms are large and comfortable. There is a spa / swimming pool available, gym. The bar is very pretty with a nice central fireplace. The two restaurants available are also very good. The castle a on a nice public park. The only downside to bring, some of the messages we sent to the staff did not always seem to arrive at their destination. Maybe a slight lack of communication between the teams?

Very beautiful and very pleasant with jacuzzi sauna HAMMAM. 🙂 We also did a hydromassage jet session which was great again! I recently stayed at the Brit Hotel de Grignan in Vichy and I must say that I was very pleased with my experience. The location of the hotel is excellent, as it is located close to the commercial center of Vichy but also to the parks. This allowed me to enjoy the city and its attractions while being close to the hotel to rest. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I appreciated the variety of choices offered and the quality of the products. It allowed me to start my day well and explore the city with a full stomach. The relaxation area of the hotel was also very pleasant. I was able to relax in the sauna and the jacuzzi after a long day of walking and sightseeing. It was a real plus for me and it made my stay even more pleasant. Finally, I would like to highlight the quality of the hotel staff. They were all very friendly and polite, always ready to answer my questions and give me tips for visiting the city. I recently stayed at the Brit Hotel in Grignan Vichy and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodation. The comfort of the bed was exceptional, which greatly contributed to my rest and relaxation during my stay. It was easy to find a place to park my car and I felt safe leaving my car there during my stay. Also, the proximity to downtown was very convenient. +I'm afraid to repeat the same thing from one stay to another. Each time we visit the family in Clermont-Ferrand, we stay at the Kyriad Prestige which is close by. It is a good hotel and the reception is pleasant. The staff is proud of the new rooms (which we appreciated during our previous stay) and it's always nice to see such pride in belonging.
-We were in room 503. One of the two lights in the bathroom didn't work (probably a faulty bulb). It can happen... The magnifying mirror is fixed in a corner, which reduces its mobility. In a 4 star hotel, we are a little disappointed that there is a design error.

-- a problem already seen with the reception, error of bedding for 3 of our rooms but the Management granted us a significant commercial gesture - the heat in our room (not the case for all rooms) we could not open the window, in the evening it was very hot, we did not manage to put the air conditioning on (even if we wanted to avoid ecological issues a little too early anyway). The nice young man at the night reception couldn't help us either 🙁 - the price of parking is expensive I find 15€ per day knowing that we only leave our cars for the night. Otherwise parking is quite good and easy outside and parking in the hotel area is not expensive at all for a few hours.

Passing through Tim Burton's Labyrinth and the Ramses II exhibition, an absolutely adorable reception on May 27 in the evening, the hostess was charming, accommodating, helpful and very good advice (Chinese restaurant Le Bourget absolutely fabulous). The hotel also has an underground car park which is not negligible with access by lift directly to the reception for 8€ per night. A breakfast also with a very friendly staff, simple rooms but in total coherence with their price, perfect. A big thank you to the whole team !!!

The hotel is ideally located to take advantage of the city center but it is not up to its 4 stars. The room is very humid. Towels don't dry out. Housekeeping lacks a bit of precision. The walls have been renovated but there are pieces missing giving the impression that nothing is finished (especially in the toilets). Traces of rust and mold on the windows show that the hotel is aging badly and that the humidity is really very present. The duvet cover has burn marks and is torn but the bedding is of good quality. The cleaning in the cabin to change to benefit from the jacuzzi was not done on the 2 days of the stay. The breakfast is pleasant and well stocked but for 18€, the quality of the ham is not there. The hotel has a car park, which is very pleasant but for 15€ per night it is not secure. I do not recommend the Oceania hotel chain.

It was a mountain view room. Faultless from entering the car park (€15 is a bit expensive but it's very well secured like the whole hotel, by the way) to leaving. These 15 € were offered to us because there was a small water leak on the window of the room (a cut seal): good gesture appreciated. The continental breakfast is very complete with good ingredients. A jacuzzi on reservation per hour, to be quiet, Zen atmosphere. Located close to the Place de Jaude. We did not know this hotel chain, we would stay there again.

-The bar and restaurant were closed during our stay (closed from Sunday 16 p.m. to Tuesday 16 p.m. during this period). We were able to take advantage of room service which is still a little expensive.

+Hotel with a very pleasant contemporary design, spacious bedroom, shower room with separate toilet, beautiful view of the countryside. The hotel is equipped with a small gym and a wellness centre. Charging stations for electric vehicles. Quiet near the medieval village of Besse. The contrast in style between the hotel and the village is amusing.
-Unfortunately, as in many of this type of establishment, the capacity of the SPA is much lower than that of the hotel. It is necessary to reserve several days in advance to hope to have a place whatever the type of treatment. Traveling travelers who booked the room the day before our stay, no room for us at the SPA either on the day of our arrival or the next day. Room available from 16 p.m. (no big deal if you don't plan to or can't take advantage of the SPA, etc.) unless you pay a supplement.

I recently stayed at MILDISS Hotel and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with the overall experience. The staff were very kind, pleasant and helpful which really added a personal touch to my stay. -I found it unfortunate that, for a four-star hotel, there was no small welcome kit or toiletries offered (except for a small soap); is this due to the health situation? The first night (one way trip) the room was a bit small and no toiletries in the bathroom. Mini-bar not very nice and not fresh either way.

Really very average catering and no catering from Friday evening to Sunday evening. The keys do not stop this demagnetized. Very "Old France" stay
+Excellent location (all the old Moulins can be visited on foot), charming setting (former restored hotel, pleasant terrace for breakfast, small swimming pool), well-decorated room (Toile de Jouy) and quiet, private parking available, staff helpful.
-Room in the annex on the 2nd floor without a lift (we had not been warned, and our suitcases were heavy...). The breakfast is a carbon copy of all those currently offered by hotel chains in France (industrial pastries, Nespresso, etc.). Too bad, when two artisan bakeries a stone's throw away were selling fresh croissants! It is also a pity that the renowned restaurant has been closed since the hotel was taken over by a large chain.

We stayed in this establishment from December 9 to 11, 2022 … on arrival the concierge confirms the breakfast schedule … until 11:30 a.m. … no worries for Saturday morning .. on Sunday morning we show up at 11:05 a.m. … we are turned away very unpleasantly, insisting that we had misunderstood … the tone is very unpleasant and we are offered no solutions … so we leave the hotel without having had breakfast … 0n confirms that the manager will contact us the next morning for a possible refund (all the same 40th for 2 breakfasts…) to date and after two emails from us, the hotel has not bothered to answer us. So it is with pleasure that we give our opinion on this establishment which supposedly holds 4 stars… for a stay of 330 e we expected more seriously!!!!

Reception staff disappointing and not polite at all. Room more than average. WC in the bathroom for a 4 star, that's not it. Room cleaning poorly done and bed not made on the second day. Only covered by the duvet. Breakfast too expensive. Not even a yogurt and staff believing themselves to be at club med. Avoid and I advise them to take off the extra stars..

-During our 2 night stay, the room was not cleaned. After complaint, it seems to be an environmental protection policy. Curious .... A little knock on the floor and putting the duvet back in place would only take 5 minutes and everyone would be happy. Of course, we completely understand the fact of not changing towels and sheets, it is just common sense.
