Listening to our desires and very pleasant. *Location: atypical but remember to stop there! it's in the heart of Châtelet, rue Saint Denis. The atmosphere is really nice for a quiet dinner! +The hotel is ideally located in the 1st, everything is new and well decorated. You can enjoy spacious rooms and a restaurant directly in the hotel (Dandy Kitchen). The staff is very friendly, attentive. The hotel also has 2 Saunas, you just need to notify 30 minutes before to be able to take advantage of them! If you want a hotel in the center of Paris, it is in any case ideal because everything is easily accessible (Centre Pompidou, Bourse de commerce between 2 and 5 minutes on foot). Special mention for the bedrooms on the third floor with only 4 bedrooms on this level is therefore very quiet. Overall the hotel is very quiet and well insulated. To recommend !
-The breakfast could be improved (a bit light choice and sometimes missing ingredients), also a little more work on the restaurant where the quality of the dishes is quite uneven (a perfect shoulder of lamb, but a carpaccio of Rosbeef. .. overcooked for example). We also had a cosmetic product that was thrown away by mistake during cleaning. We feel that the hotel is in its infancy so the small errors are excusable 🙂

-I'm going to put a downside but that is not because of the hotelier, it is difficult to be dropped off in front of the hotel during the day because of the pedestrianization of the area. And for those who do not know Paris, during the day the Halles district is crowded with people, but in the evening you still have to be careful at late hours the district is not very busy, it is better not to hang around.

November 25, 2022We went to dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was a great experience! First of all, the decoration of the restaurant is both refined and warm, you feel very good there. As for the dishes, the ceviche as a starter was very good, as was the sea bass and the shoulder of lamb that followed. Small flat on the chocolate praline dessert which lacked play of textures. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars. I would also have appreciated a slightly more extensive wine list. Finally, a big positive point regarding the service: kind, smiling and caring. We will come back !!

September 29, 2022I stayed at the Dandy hotel and kitchen for 3 nights between May 1 and May 4, 2023. When I arrived in the Châtelet les Halles district, I saw that this establishment was located in rue Saint Denis. Knowing the history of rue saint denis, I must admit that I was a bit scared, however I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel restaurant. The rooms are nicely decorated, the staff is professional and attentive to your every wish. I was able to enjoy a few dishes and sincerely for my part it was very good and nicely presented. This establishment is located 3 minutes on foot from the Châtelet les Halles transport station, which is a significant advantage when you want to visit several monuments on foot (Notre Dame de Paris, the Louvre Museum).

August 30The many restaurants in the center of Paris, with their small tables 60 cm in diameter, it's typical and nice. But how tight we are and how noisy it is! So the DANDY restaurant was a real discovery in the midst of these dozens of restaurants with crowded terraces and rooms, where you have to shout to be heard. And do not move for fear of disturbing the neighboring tables. DANDY, the interior of the restaurant is calm, warm, with a relaxing and comfortable decor. The service is impeccable and the staff smiling, discreet, very efficient and really attentive to customers. The dishes served are tasty, delicate and hearty. They are presented with taste and you just want to take your fork and your knife after having appreciated the harmony of the colors. We ordered a ceviche (super!), a shoulder of lamb for two (the third person enjoyed it!) and the desserts were just like the dishes (chocolate cake and tarte tatin). Our meal was a real moment of relaxation and a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. All for a very very reasonable addition. I highly recommend and I will not fail to return on the occasion of my next visit to Paris.

We are immediately welcomed by a cozy interior, very stylish and relaxing, with beautiful benches and beautiful furniture. The terrace overlooks a fairly noisy street. The food is expensive, especially for the area where the prices are more reasonable - but you can probably get the standard from inside. We took a shoulder of lamb for two: a very large quantity, a nice presentation but I found it lacking in taste and dry. Shame about the high price. The staff can get a little stuffy but are very friendly and competent.

The bathroom was also very functional and provided plenty of room to move around. But what really impressed me was the decoration of the room. March 7., 2021I'm a bit disappointed with my experience at Dandy Hotel & Kitchen. Although the hotel is elegant and comfortable, I find the breakfast to be expensive for what it offers. Indeed, the breakfast is very basic and does not justify its high price. I expected more variety and quality for the price I paid. Also, the service was not up to my expectations. The staff was friendly but inattentive. I had to wait a while to be served and no one showed up to ask me if I needed anything else. This gave me the impression that the staff were overwhelmed and could not effectively handle the number of customers present. Despite these negative points, I still appreciated the quality of the room and the amenities offered by the hotel. The bedding was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. I also liked the hotel's proximity to public transport, which made it easy for me to get around the city. In conclusion, although the hotel is nice, I don't think I will return due to the expensive and unsatisfactory breakfast and the unattentive service. April 9, 2023I went there following a voucher offered for 1 hour of massage and 1 hour of access to the swimming pool and the hammam. It was my first message and it was a very good experience. Emmanuel is attentive to needs, the massage was really relaxing and very pleasant. Access to the swimming pool and the hammam was a real plus, thank you for this well-being afternoon. The offer should sincerely be explored so that the "spa" experience within the hotel is a little more fluid due to the route from the massage room to the pool area where the movement and storage of personal belongings seems a bit sketchy. But, having gone there at an hour of great hollow I was able to fully enjoy! Thanks again !

February 26, 2023Hello, With my friend we decided to do a before at this address for a drink. The place being iconic we wanted to take pictures but were very badly treated by the staff because we were taking pictures in the toilets where we wash our hands (not disturbing anyone) the staff started to be very unpleasant and anxiety-provoking us felt like we were disturbing them when we were only taking pictures. I specify that on 25/03/2023 in the evening the person who took care of the cleanliness of the toilets in the evening spoke to us extremely badly "get out" this is what was said when we are customers in short to avoid I am very unhappy not only for this situation but the place is very small from 22 p.m. they don't know where to put you so it's full I don't recommend.

They take great care of their customers and do everything possible to make the stay pleasant and comfortable. It really made my stay very pleasant. The room I occupied was spacious and spotlessly clean. I really appreciated the comfort of the bedding and the elegant decoration of the room. Everything was perfectly organized and I was able to relax and rest in peace. The only weak point of the hotel, in my opinion, is the spa. It's basic, with just a pool and a steam room. This may not be suitable for those looking for a fuller spa with more sophisticated amenities. However, for me it wasn't a big deal as I was able to take advantage of the pool and steam room to relax after a busy day. In conclusion, I highly recommend Hotel Les Bains in Paris for its exceptional staff, comfortable rooms and impeccable cleanliness. Although the spa is basic, it didn't spoil my stay and I had a great time at this hotel. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again on my next trip to Paris.

June 4, 2023For my birthday, my husband had booked an executive room, it was magnificent, everything was perfect. They've thought of everything, record player, sports mat, weights, books... The SPA is open 24 hours a day. The water was hot, which isn't the case everywhere. The staff really bend over backwards to make you happy. We ordered room service so to be honest for me the food was maybe a bit too spicy, but that's just a matter of taste. We had a great experience at this hotel. Thank you so much.

-The hotel is transformed at nightfall into a discotheque with smoke bombs and deafening music. From 23 p.m., you have to pass the queue that has formed at the entrance to enter the hotel and show your credentials to make your way between the dancers to reach the elevators. Impossible to communicate with the receptionist, the music covers the voices. Once in your room, the infra-bass will accompany you in your sleep. It is the choice and positioning of this establishment, but you might as well know it before booking.

If you want a good cocktail do not hesitate to ask Mehdi who made us discover delicious creations. The restaurant is very, very good. Small b mole on the limited choice of dishes but it is still correct. I had the opportunity to be massaged by Clara, it was a great moment. The Roman bath puts us in a magnificent atmosphere. We recommend with eyes closed, a beautiful setting!

March 23., 2023My opinion concerns the restaurant: I booked for a birthday. We were treated to a very warm welcome. However, once seated, we were treated to a server who was visibly in a hurry and immediately stunned us with “you have two and a half hours to eat because we have a second service and you will have to clear the table”. Shame for a 2 star restaurant. Especially since this big detail had not been specified to me when booking! We were very uncomfortable because we felt like we were disturbing. My reservation was at 30:5 p.m. and not 20 p.m. but obviously the gentleman was not aware and therefore told us that it was possible that we might not be able to take a starter and then later tell us that for dessert the timing was short but we could claim it. Finally we stopped at the main course and were in an establishment where we could have a dessert peacefully. The atmosphere: too noisy, music too loud, smell of incense too strong and open kitchen. The decor is quite beautiful but far too much smoke to be able to appreciate it. The dishes: are not up to the price. Nothing exceptional, lack of flavor for the fish in foil and especially not up to a 30 star hotel restaurant. Cocktails that are way too acidic! In summary: I do not recommend this restaurant and invite you to go to a real restaurant in a 20 star hotel and you will see the big difference.

December 29thWe had to wait 45 minutes for our table, 15 minutes for the waiter to come and take our cocktail order, another 30 minutes for the starters. The dishes arrived another 30 minutes after having finished our starters and when I ask him how things were it is “sir you are not alone”. It's obviously very good but I strongly recommend that the sinner not pretend to a super trendy place with two services if they can't provide behind it. 20 years that I am in Paris, I have never had such bad service.

The cleaning lady came when we were getting ready what happened that we had to wait in the hallway in front of the room it's not pro for a hotel at this price we pay for services that are not even not taken into account! The housekeeper knocks on the door 2-3 times a morning to find out if she can clean the room even though we had put the do not disturb option. It is to be believed if the cleaning lady wants to finish her service more quickly by harassing people to avoid having to wait between each room made. We were also sold the spa as semi-private for the first half hour when we went there, a couple were there for the first half hour and the second a second couple arrived, a bad surprise again. I recommend staying a maximum of one night in this hotel knowing that there is not even a car park near the hotel to park there for us who were loading it was far from practical knowing that in front of the hotel these are only delivery places. It's one of the only 5 star hotels I've been to that I didn't like so much. I won't be going back.

-Unfortunately, a lot (too many?) of "small glitches": The air conditioning which does not respond to the control box (room "icy" at night). Hyper-sophisticated toilets intended (probably) for an Arab or Asian clientele, but which are far too narrow for somewhat "corpulent" clients like me. Using them has become an "ordeal". Only one elevator, in "COVID times" and we see all the aberration of not having planned two... Finally, and this point is not the responsibility of the hotelier, but of the City from Paris: the virtual impossibility of reaching the hotel by taxi, Über or private vehicle demonstrates the lack of respect the City has for its tourists! Scandalous!

-several points tarnished my stay enormously: -firstly, on a Saturday evening at 20 p.m. when no one warned us, there was no food service in the rooms, the "bartender" being absent according to our correspondent on the telephone , of a very moderate kindness...first point of huge disappointment -secondly, I had forgotten my toothbrush and my toothpaste. So, as in every hotel (even more 4 stars), said ones are available. But when I called the receptionist (very unpleasant by the way), he explained to me that there was no kit and hung up on me before I asked him where I could find one, I'm very disappointed: night receptionists are most unpleasant, unlike the charming day ladies! -Finally, no bathrobe or slippers and this is very disappointing for a 4-star hotel.

+We were in family with our 2 children for a few days in Paris. The location is extremely convenient, especially for those wishing to visit Paris. Very central, 50 meters from the Metro, 2 minutes from Chatelet and Les Halles... Top! Nice neighborhood with lots of nice restaurants to eat. For questions of room availability (everything was full for the Easter period), you stayed in 3 different rooms for the 4 nights spent at the hotel, all of which were large, spacious and perfectly suited to families.
-For a hotel at this price: - Poor quality lunch buffet with uninteresting taste products; Limited and industrial choice... - Staff at breakfast outdated / incompetent / not trained / ineffective. I don't think any of them must have worked in the industry before. And no manager to supervise / train them. Not acceptable for a hotel at this price! - Jacuzzi on the terrace at 46° on our arrival, in other words impossible to set foot in it. - Uninteresting bar.

+As soon as we arrived at around 19 p.m., we were upgraded. Nothing was too much trouble for the hotel staff, specially Carmen. The room was spacious the bed very comfortable the bathroom a marvel. The breakfast was excellent.
-Only downside there was no bathrobe or indoor slippers. Also the room was listed as soundproof. However, we slept badly the first night because of a very noisy couple above our room. We alerted the hotel staff who reacted immediately. We couldn't take advantage of the terrace, because there were no more rooms available with this option.

Rooms with an incredible view of Paris, terraces that invite you not to go out and an interior courtyard full of flowers and greenery. Ah and here everyone is smiling and attentive to requests. From the reception (quickly!) to the restaurant staff (La Plume, my favourite) and last but first for intuition the concierge Edgar who gave me addresses and advice not bad at all for a person who has been coming to Paies for years years. Also at lunch in the restaurant, the fish was not cooked enough (daily menu) and I found a hair in the fruit salad. In short, I was disappointed with the value for money.

For Christmas, I received a voucher to benefit from a one-hour massage at the Dior spa at the Cheval Blanc hotel. After having made my reservation by telephone and an absolutely perfect telephone reception, I go to my appointment 45 minutes in advance in order to be able to take advantage of the place as in all establishments of this standing. What was my first unpleasant surprise when I arrived and was told that the swimming pool, whirlpool bath, steam room and sauna are only reserved for hotel guests... In short, I was installed in the small lounge and they offer me a coffee. The wait was long but very interesting because a client leaving her care is installed 2m from me in the said salon, one of the managers comes to see her, asks her if everything went well, gives her the management card from the spa, as well as dior bags filled with gifts that she states to him as absolutely exclusive gifts and this in front of me without even a glance... without spoiling you, you can imagine that I would not benefit from the same treatment in any way, surely a journalist or guest blogger therefore much more important than a regular customer of the hotel restaurants and having a vulgar gift voucher. It's finally my turn, I'm installed in a very nice massage parlour, the table is relatively comfortable and the massage is good... but nothing extraordinary, no "wow" effect... nothing. Once finished, I kindly ask the practitioner if I can take a shower because I had an important appointment afterwards and didn't want to arrive all oiled up. It is then that I have a very respectful answer but which makes me very uncomfortable... The young girl in an embarrassed and pressing way makes me understand that it is not practical because they will have to clean the room. whole bathroom afterwards and adds that it's a shame not to take advantage of the benefits of the hydration of the massage oil .. but accepts at my insistence. Once out I was again offered a hot drink accompanied by a sweet and obviously nothing more. Two young men arrive for their treatment at this time and are welcomed with a protocol that was not mine, they will be offered a detox drink, something that I did not even know was possible... October 30, 2021I am really impressed with Cheval Blanc Paris & Dior Spa Cheval Blanc. First of all, I must say that the services offered are worthy of a palace. Everything is done to make you feel like a king or a queen. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, and the decoration is refined. We feel really privileged to be able to stay in such an establishment. But what stood out to me the most was the staff. Everyone is extremely welcoming and caring. You feel like the most important guest in the hotel. The employees are available at all times to meet our needs, and they do everything possible to make our stay as good as possible. Finally, I must say that the Cheval Blanc Paris is a very nice Parisian address. The hotel is conveniently located close to the city's main attractions. You can easily walk to the Eiffel Tower, the Champs-Élysées or the Arc de Triomphe. It is a real pleasure to discover Paris from this exceptional establishment.
