Very disappointing experience to the point that it is imperative for me to warn other customers. This is the second time I have booked this hotel, the first experience was quite good, which is why I decided to take this hotel back. However the staff seems to have changed, the services, the civility and the politeness with: I therefore initially reserve two nights. Having had an unforeseen event, I was forced almost 72 hours before my arrival to cancel the second night online and to keep only one. But: - no phone call from the hotel to let me know if it was canceled or not - when I arrived the receptionist was extremely rude and told me that the two nights would be charged. I specify that I have already come in the past, to be a loyal customer in view of my round trips to Marseille and to have had an unforeseen event (warned 72 hours before by internet) but the receptionist replies that only money takes precedence and that he must sell bedrooms. Both nights will therefore be charged. - the next day, after a first night, planning to leave the room at 15 p.m. before my train, the receptionist calls me and asks me to leave the room earlier. Although having paid for both nights, he had accepted a reservation for our second night since we were not planning to stay. Note that the day before, we had given us no information about the time of departure and above all, as the two nights were paid for, we thought that we could at least leave the room after our first night at the latest. In total, the hotel collected twice the rate for the same night from two different customers. That's what the receptionist confirmed to me. A few months ago this hotel was "okay", it has deteriorated sharply since and recent negative reviews attest to this. The notions of "goodwill gesture" are unknown to the staff of this hotel and the main objective seems to be the bailout of the coffers to the detriment of customer loyalty. That's a shame.

The hotel is very well located, clean; the staff is welcoming, friendly, helpful and very professional. the partnership with the Q park centre-ville car park is practical, and perfectly reflects the spirit of this establishment where everyone goes out of their way to satisfy you, in a simple and friendly atmosphere. the breakfast is top with fresh and local products. Go there with confidence, you will be well received and delighted!

-Lack of space in the wardrobe which is tiny and cluttered with chests, refrigerators, kettles... It is impossible to hang a suit, dress... It would have been preferable to store the aforementioned items in a cupboard with shelves. Moreover, between the air conditioning and the noise of the motor of the refrigerator located just next to the headboard, the noise pollution is uncomfortable, not to mention the heat given off by the motor of the refrigerator locked in the cupboard.

+Very good value for money, tastefully renovated rooms, comfortable bed, helpful staff and above all a breathtaking view of the old port from the room. Very well soundproofed rooms. Breakfast is taken on an adorable balcony overlooking the old port. The location is perfect, we were able to park our car in the town hall car park 2 steps away, a slightly dirty but secure car park. The main tourist points and restaurants are within walking distance.

-Small problem with water flow in the shower but it was a detail. They have tickets for a discount on parking (12€ for 24:00) but we couldn't get any because they had none left. Find out before you go, it can quickly get expensive.

The window had no blinds, the very light curtains did not allow the darkening of the room. Coffee maker to heat water available, but no coffee or tea available… One night for 165 euros with all these faults I find very poor value for money.

Establishment chosen on the internet especially for its location to stay one night in Marseille. A little confused by the environment at first when you arrive at the reception, but the smile and the kindness of the receptionist makes you forget the very rustic and authentic side of the reception and the restaurant, do not stop at a first impression! The corridors and rooms have been updated in terms of decoration and the hotel is even ahead of others in their ecological approach. The toiletries are not over-packaged and the hotel offers French and local soap. But above all a very positive end: breakfast! A delight, quality traditional baguette for sandwiches, pastries made in the traditional way (rare these days), squeezed orange juice and cottage cheese (or cottage cheese perhaps?) Clean and well located hotel - unfortunately the staff is not up to par and does not try to help us even if we are former customers - no sympathy -

Come September 2022, hotel in a good location, correct room, we cannot adjust the air conditioning or the sound on the TV, everything is under the control of the reception, which is always absent. Very average staff. Breakfast, yogurt from the day before in a glass, the same for macerated fruit, 1 croissant and a piece of bread, degue orange juice, no buffet and no change if you want salty apart from eggs in addition but the never cook in the morning. Very disappointing experience! We were tired and we went to bed exceptionally early: very poor soundproofing and a concert given in the hotel prevented us from resting until 23 p.m., then the noise of water pipes surprised us (probably the chasers of water or the neighbours' showers). The next morning, surprise, no hot water.!!! (according to the reviews, unfortunately watched too late, this is not the first time...). And when we talked about all these damages to the manager, he made no commercial gesture and reproached us for not having gone to the concert or for not having come down at 22 p.m. at the reception to possibly change rooms.. .We dream, in fact it's our fault... Too bad because the view and the location were good but that's not what we will remember!
