They refused to serve me tea at 14:30 p.m. on the terrace, which was empty, on the pretext that it was reserved for serving lunch until 15 p.m.

On the other hand, the one in the morning was very pleasant, making little jokes, it shows that he likes his job and being in contact with customers. The haughty spa staff also, we passed in front of them saying "hello" because they were staring at us, we did not hear back and yet we spoke loud enough since they cut themselves off in their conversation.
The room was badly indicated to us because it was about the extension of the hotel but we are put the blame on it "nicely".
The hotel is quite dated in terms of carpeting and wallpaper.
Nothing to say about the equipment of the room.
The hotel absolutely does not deserve the 4 stars or even 1 star in the comments.
I will never set foot there again!

+Ideally located with a view of the sea and very close to the city center, the staff was absolutely perfect, both present, discreet and helpful without being pushy. The very good quality Biologique Recherche spa treatments, the very clean sauna and hammam, the large swimming pool, the excellent Georges V restaurant, it was a wonderful stay.

-The rooms are very small for a very high rate. The restaurant is too small at breakfast to accommodate all the customers. the living rooms are tiny. The (empty) bar looks like a banal “café on the port”. It's not a Barrière hotel like in Deauville or La Baule. We tried to make the most of an old hotel overlooking the road, with a small garden. Exercise has its limits...

+The location, the high-quality equipment, the beauty of the very “grand hotel” construction, the garden and the (indoor) swimming pool.
-The (superior) room is small and decorated a bit outdated.
The very very young staff, friendly but totally inexperienced and above all not supervised (at the bar, a sketch…, the deckchairs which remain all evening with the towels of the customers of the day, the uncleaned tables…). This is not a problem in a small hotel but in a 5* establishment at 800€ per night, this is not admissible.

The room was very clean and very quiet with a very pleasant open view of the lake. Great calm.
Neat decoration for Christmas.
Some common areas are a little dated but it remains of a very good standard and maintenance so not a problem.
Efficient and welcoming reception staff.
In short, a good address and I really don't understand the negative comments because the experience is very good

June 3, 2023 at 8:25 amRoom located in the extension of the hotel, above a very noisy reception room until 1:30 am (music at full volume for a wedding). Despite several calls to the reception, they do not agree to change our room for a less noisy room.
The room is very old and could use a refresh.
Only positive point, the view of the lake from the room.

+All very well. Perhaps dinner at the hotel's restaurant was even more gourmet… Perfect breakfast. Absolute calm. The shuttle to the corsair city at the foot of the hotel with this wonderful tropical garden. Have been here before, invited by a pharmaceutical lab. Found the same welcoming traditional seriousness.
