November 23, 2022 at 4:26 pmbeautiful place and excellent service at a bit high price
+the location is superb in the heart of Uzès, a stone's throw from the duchy, a magnificent historic building, cozy atmosphere, all the service is excellent, charming and professional, we had two successive reservations with a room and a suite and the hotel offered us the upgrade for the two nights in a suite, excellent bedding
-the excessive price given the quality of the suite (ducal suite), the door opens directly onto the bedroom and the small living room is therefore at the back, a bit useless and therefore less privacy for the bedroom, that this gives exclusively onto small courtyards where there are all the air conditioning installations, and in particular the courtyard which serves as an exterior for breakfasts. despite arrangements for greening, we take this meal in a cramped courtyard next to a large box that hides the air conditioning motors, with the noise that it makes. for a 5 star hotel and châteaux relay I find this unworthy although I understand that the configuration of this historic place does not offer an exterior. might as well close this ugly course because it's not at all pleasant. another curious detail, at breakfast it is indicated fresh squeezed fruit juice on the carafe while it is bottled juice, we had to ask for squeezed oranges which is also available after a certain wait. it's a detail but for a 5 star at this price it's surprising.

December 3, 2022 at 9:48 amBeautiful hotel ideally located
+Hotel located in a beautiful building in the city center, very spacious suite, competent, attentive and very friendly staff, warm atmosphere, neat decor
-Excellent value for money for breakfast, the products offered are very good, however for a 5 star hotel we expect more choice, especially hot dishes

December 30, 2022 at 9:36 pmToo bad the common areas are so limited

Neat decoration

-The wifi remains very limited, and does not work in the room, despite the hotel's efforts
Limited common areas

December 31, 2022 at 7:43 amHotel very well located, charming staff and very attentive to customers, restaurant too expensive.
+Perfect breakfast
-Room on the top floor without a lift, narrow staircase, difficult to climb up and down… Bath in the bathroom, impractical because it is very high to step over

January 5, 2023 at 12:55 amSuperb place but some improvements to deserve the Relais et Châteaux label
+Excellent location in the charming village of Uzes in a historic and charming residence perfectly brought up to date. Very friendly and helpful staff.
-Room furniture a bit dated and not commensurate with the price of the room.
very friendly but poorly trained staff: sommelier does not taste the wine, lack of staff for breakfast service,…

January 23, 2023 at 8:18 pmBeautiful area. Ideal location that we pay a lot for the level of service.
+Breakfast very good but too expensive for the offer presented. We expect much better for a hotel that bears the Relais Château brand.
-The cost of 666 € without breakfasts is not justified compared to other hotels in luxury categories

January 26, 2023 at 2:24 amPleasant and relaxing stays in the very center of a charming medieval town.
+We liked the beauty of the place, a magnificently renovated old stone mansion. The calm and serenity that emerges. the quality of the common areas (the garden, the lounges, the library, the entrance hall, etc.). And of course the availability and kindness of all the hotel staff. The location is ideal for visiting the old town on foot.
-The breakfast is clearly not up to the standard of the hotel. Goodbye, not enough choice. When there is no one in the kitchen, it is the waitress who cooks the eggs in a closed kitchen… Too long.
Need filter coffee, etc.
The storage surfaces in the bedroom are a bit short. Need more storage space.
Sauna and Roman bath were out of order due to construction. Damage ! Disappointment…

March 5, 2023 at 10:03 pmA very good address to remember
+The staff very welcoming and very pleasant. Both the reception team (special mention to the valet-porter) and the restaurant (special mention to the sommelier and the bartender).
The place and the setting in an old building full of charm.
The quality of food at dinner.
-A little disappointed with the breakfast and a bit outdated in the bathroom.

June 16, 2023 at 1:53 amTrès bien
+The location, the beauty of the site, the warm welcome
-The breakfast disappointed us a little, not very good, does not offer much, level 3/4*. Orange juice is really not good. Only one honey offered and it is very bitter. This does not suit all tastes. In short, we probably fantasized about breakfast
No attention for children. Generally in the 5*, there is always a little special welcome for the children, a little cuddly toy, a little game, something. It's really a pity.

June 22, 2023 at 9:58 pmThe reception, the table, the location outweigh any temporary technical inconvenience.
+Exceptional location in the center of Uzès benefiting from calm and renovated streets. The staff are charming, friendly and attentive always ready to help.
-Breakdown of air conditioning in 3 bedrooms… when you're under the roof it's a bit complicated.
