We had a meeting there and had a great time. A feast for the eyes as well as the stomach. I thought I would leave still hungry, but I was sated before dessert.

+Magnificent stage, Joigny is a pretty little town. Above all, don't miss the hotel's restaurant, which is remarkable and so pleasant on a beautiful terrace by the river. Also note the great sympathy of all the staff.

Not recommended! Extremely disappointed, as much by the reception to book a meal for more than 20 people, 3 trips and very, very limited each time. On D-Day, error in the entries requested, like what, we are well listened to, it is really worth ordering. Very disappointed with the quality of the food, not at all up to par with this establishment. Totally INSUFFICIENT commercial gesture. I absolutely do not recommend. Only the person who took care of our "table" is to be thanked for his kindness and professionalism.

For the restaurant, the cuisine and service are top notch, well stocked and tasty. I would just tend to say that the tables may be a little too glued but really it's a detail. Slightly high price but clearly due to the quality, so reasonable I recommend

The main waitress talks much too loudly, we know what each table has had as a meal, it's quite unpleasant. The meal was very good, the bread fresh. The dishes very well presented, maybe a little too many different flavors, I would have liked more simplicity. We had a very good meal.

Hello Despite an undeniable and irreproachable sense of service from the staff, a restaurant displaying a very high quality and a very pleasant setting, we will only give 2 stars. For what ? We find it quite appalling to hear, as customers, a chef or any manager (I don't know) insulting his staff in the kitchen. A door not or badly closed does not seem to bother this gentleman to invective his collaborators. Do not think that my intervention is only motivated by this lack of discretion; I am infinitely convinced that we can get the best out of everyone, increase motivation at any time, without having to use "bird names" which I would be careful not to reproduce here. It is therefore a shame because otherwise we would have posted a 5 star for everything, would have recommended this establishment without hesitation and, above all, would have returned. Cordially

Very good restaurant, first time and we will come back, pleasant servers, very good dishes. A small problem for dogs accepted in the dining room and the room quite noisy with people who communicate by video with their relatives, really without embarrassment. But it really deserves 5 stars

I love this restaurant. The dishes are always wonderfully good and the dressing is top notch. It is necessary to count between 45 and 60 € for the menus plus the drinks. A nice park to take a little digestion walk completes and if the meal is a little too drunk or if you want to take advantage of the place, the hotel is ready to welcome you.

There was a time when Rive Gauche was our favorite restaurant, when it was pleasant to come here to celebrate our birthdays or pleasant family moments for more than 15 years. Unfortunately we won't be going back because twice we've noticed a decline in the overall quality of the restaurant. Incomprehensible value for money, confused service, appetizers and dishes worthy of another age, tasteless, really poor desserts and we even found a cake soaked in citric acid impossible to put on the tongue, which testifies to a hazardous process in the kitchen. In short, we did not have a good lunch and we will never set foot in this restaurant again, which has not been able to make it through the 2000s.
