On the other hand, the one in the morning was very pleasant, making little jokes, it shows that he likes his job and being in contact with customers. The haughty spa staff also, we passed in front of them saying "hello" because they were staring at us, we did not hear back and yet we spoke loud enough since they cut themselves off in their conversation.
The room was badly indicated to us because it was about the extension of the hotel but we are put the blame on it "nicely".
The hotel is quite dated in terms of carpeting and wallpaper.
Nothing to say about the equipment of the room.
The hotel absolutely does not deserve the 4 stars or even 1 star in the comments.
I will never set foot there again!

The room was very clean and very quiet with a very pleasant open view of the lake. Great calm.
Neat decoration for Christmas.
Some common areas are a little dated but it remains of a very good standard and maintenance so not a problem.
Efficient and welcoming reception staff.
In short, a good address and I really don't understand the negative comments because the experience is very good

They refused to serve me tea at 14:30 p.m. on the terrace, which was empty, on the pretext that it was reserved for serving lunch until 15 p.m.
The room manager was arrogant and aggressive without name, preferring to hide behind "directives from management" rather than showing discernment in the face of a customer and an empty terrace.
When contacted about this, customer service never bothered to respond.
The meaning of luxury hotels seems to be a completely foreign notion to this establishment, given the large number of unfavorable reviews.

+I recommend room 527 with a fabulous view of the beach and the bay of La Baule. A terrace where you can sunbathe, not overlooked, and have your breakfast. A dream location where, by straining your ears, you can hear the sound of the waves and appreciate the horses walking on the shore and the ballet of gulls in the sky. The SPA offers many highly appreciated “massages & wraps” fitness formulas. The room service is up to par with the choice of starters, main courses & desserts. The Eden Beach ideally located on the beach will make you discover the oysters of the peninsula of Guérande and a delicious preparation of the knives. The responsiveness of the “Angélina” reception staff and the “Guillaume” housekeepers to make you enjoy your stay. Louis & Jules will make sure to pamper your car. Sasha will always be available to adjust the saddle of your loaner bike and give you very useful details for choosing your discovery rides.
-I would have appreciated with breakfast a summary of the activities & festivities proposed for the day with the weather. Although we are in the era of all-out digital, a small piece of paper remains user-friendly.

January 14, 2023 at 2:20 am2nd stay in this mythical hotel. This time we stayed in the "modern" part of the hotel. Beautiful view of the lake, small balcony and open view of the Casino. Great time at the spa. Very polite staff. The disconnection is total.

served in the room the restaurant attached to the hotel is top it is also accessible outside the hotel.

We took full advantage of the SPA activities (treatments and sports activities). Here again, the teams are perfectly attentive and attentive. Full and good breakfast. We will come back with pleasure. April 29, 2023 at 12:11 amVery warm welcome on our arrival, spacious room and view of the lake, however the bathroom is dilapidated, dated and not practical.
Access to the spa and the fitness room is limited only once, unlike other barrier establishments, or other identical establishments.
We had to do our sports session outside the establishment.
Too bad for an establishment of this level.

-At over 700 euros per night for a room with a sea view without breakfast, I expected a full sea view, not overlooked, with a large bedroom and a large bathtub. Nothing of that !

But my big disappointment was the spa which was cold! Even the room temperature was cool! Since the visit I have been very very sick with angina, body aches, fever! It's really a shame for 1 spa! I won't be going back there again because of this! My friend got sick too!
