April 26, 2022 at 2:05 amToo bad we can't give more than 5 stars because this hotel deserves it. Whether for its comfort, its location or its services. Everything is perfect there and you feel really good there, very warm welcome and a team that is always attentive. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful. The spa is amazing and the massages are awesome too. I highly recommend and thank you again to the teams!

May 12, 2022 at 3:43 amSuperb place despite the works around and in the hotel. Splendid view of the Ill. Spacious rooms and very good bedding. Spa and massage are also worth a visit.
Copious and adaptable breakfast according to the allergies of the customers. Only downside: the helpful but “absent” breakfast service. Everything is done in the rules but we do not feel kindness or see a smile.
This must be due to the shortage of labor in the sector but it's a shame for the image of this five star hotel.

June 10, 2022 at 2:32 amInstalled at the bar on the terrace, 30 minutes pass without being approached by any server whatsoever, yet not overwhelmed by a sparse terrace.

June 21, 2022 at 10:54 amHigh quality hotel: rooms, reception, relaxation area… perfect. And the location in the heart of the historic district. Very good value for money… even if a bit expensive.

October 11, 2022 at 11:31 pmGood, but lacks charm
+Spacious room
Top bedding
Large closet
Caring staff
-Noise from hallways and other rooms (piping, footsteps)
Bathroom clean but not up to date
Corridor leading to the soulless ground floor bedroom, it looks like a corridor to go to the kitchens

+The location of the hotel, the cozy and contemporary rooms very comfortable. The delicious and gargantuan breakfast
-Just after Christmas, the bar menu removed several proposals from its menu. The bartender looked rather overwhelmed with our order. But otherwise great family time
Impossible to use the soap and shampoo pump bottles in the shower during our stay despite our request to change them

November 29, 2022 at 11:45 pmPoor value for money
+The location is fine.
-When you pay 500 euros per night, you expect another level of service. The room was relatively small, under the roof, no welcome, not even a little chocolate in the room. Coffee is soluble coffee. In short, a hotel that takes advantage of its location and the Christmas market to apply prices well beyond the services offered. If I had known, I would have chosen another hotel.

+Well located location.
Very decent room.
-Poor value for money restaurant.
Staff at breakfast totally unsuitable: badly brought up, exchanges of their personal affairs in a very loud, vulgar voice.
Altogether a decent 4 star, certainly not 5.
Strategy to review...

January 13, 2023 at 10:54 pmWell deserved 5 stars. Perfect.
+very well located. Easy access by car, valet service. Very friendly staff.
-The pavilion is separate from the hotel. You have to get out to get there, but it's only thirty meters away.
improperly fitted power outlets.

January 21, 2023 at 2:28 amThe location is fantastic.
The rooms are nice and clean.
The service is nice but in some cases distracted or technically not up to standard for a hotel of this category.
The valet service was very attentive and good.
The gentleman at the reception not up to scratch: unfriendly welcome and very brief explanations, the access card to the room did not work, despite the fact that we had been offered to take the suitcases up to the room, these did not never arrived (after 1h 30′ we went down to pick them up at reception), the invoice at the time of payment is clearly incorrect. However, it should be noted that the lady also present at the reception was very helpful and competent.
The breakfast buffet is well stocked and absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, even here the service, despite the obvious desire to do well, technically absolutely not up to par.
If taken individually nothing serious, but all this in 24 hours in a hotel of this category, absolutely unsuitable.

January 24, 2023 at 2:43 amI did not see the hotel I had booked
+The situation
-I booked at the “pavilion” regent which has a lot of charm, with large windows on the river and I found myself at “the hotel” regent, a modern hotel without any charm, in a room with a very small skylight, the room in it even was comfortable, although without douche.ce did not correspond to what I had selected, nor to what I wanted. A little disappointed to have "been moved" like that by "force". They could have warned in advance and I would certainly have made another choice.

January 26, 2023 at 8:30 pmYou have to go there without counting, because everything is extra.
+The bedding
The location
-The lack of space to park and the hotel's proposal for a parking space at 30€!
No access to the SPA …. you have to pay a supplement.
Breakfast at 30€/person extra for the room outside the hotel in the pavilion.

February 7, 2023 at 4:19 amEstablishment a little cold, little lack of attention for a 5 star
+We appreciated the location, the support of our vehicle. The calm and the size of the room.
-The welcome is cold and impersonal. Our luggage left at the reception for 3 hours could have been taken up to our room on our return.

February 25, 2023 at 7:08 amReading the other reviews I have the impression that we didn't go to the same hotel… Probably fake reviews if you want my opinion.
It is an aging hotel with a Novotel hotel decor and a pestilential smell in the reception (apparently a problem with the pipes…)
The room we had overlooked a very busy terrace with noise very late and especially a mishap that starts in the morning before 6am. So when it comes to quality of sleep at €400 a night, I think you have to ask yourself the right questions and go elsewhere.
The service is not friendly, neither at reception nor at breakfast. at 30€ breakfast I think we are entitled to expect at least a smile from the lady who is supposed to check the identity of customers before placing them, she shouted at me when I was just going to tell my husband that I was going to have breakfast somewhere else…)
At check out they had counted us 4 breakfasts while only my husband had breakfast 1 morning.
We called to prepare the car and take the luggage down but after 20 minutes we ended up taking it down ourselves…
The valet was very nice but overwhelmed, I have rarely had so little pleasure staying in a hotel.
Really a shame because very well located in the center of Strasbourg but to avoid, don't be fooled by the reviews or you risk being as disappointed as we are…!

February 27, 2023 at 5:34 pmWe had a great stay with friends at this hotel. The location was ideal, all the center of Strasbourg doable on foot.
The hotel staff was great, very attentive, pleasant and professional.
The breakfast is delicious, the products are local.
The spa has everything you need to relax between 2 getaways! We had booked a duo massage, nothing to complain about, we left totally relaxed.
I recommend 100% and will definitely come back.

March 5, 2023 at 4:39 pmGood but some flaws unworthy of such a level of range
+The place full of character
The comfort of the bedroom
The caring valet service
-The petty breakfast compared to its price, which arrives ten minutes late and for which the bread had been forgotten
Steam in the bathroom after showering (insufficient ventilation)
The shower screen that lets water through (HS seal) and causes a dangerous puddle on the tiles
The razor socket unit not properly fixed to the wall, which a child could dislodge (risk of electrocution)
Stains on the wall and on the carpet

March 8, 2023 at 7:38 amMedium in details
+Excellent location, room with a view of the ill
-On arrival we were accommodated next door to the Regent. Very good hotel but really a shame that I was asked to pay for half a bottle of water taken from the mini bar when there were only 3 bottles of water without any price sheet. It seems to me that in an establishment of this stature a half bottle of water should be offered as do all 5 stars worthy of the name. I slept the next day in a four-star hotel near Colmar, arriving in the room there were 2 small bottles of water and a large bottle of lemonade as a welcome gift.
To meditate

March 8, 2023 at 4:35 pma 5 * hotel perfectly located and quality services. We recommend.
+location in the heart of Petite France
the perfect welcome from the staff and their advice
the comfort of the room including bedding
-Micro details:
-the badly adjusted bathroom door bellhop
-the absence of nibbling with cocktails at the bar

March 9, 2023 at 7:57 amIdyllic setting at the epicenter of Petite France, spacious suite, sumptuous view of the St Martin bridge and the quays, caring staff, varied and quality breakfast…Despite my critical spirit, I have nothing but praise that come to mind! This establishment, steeped in history (les Glacières), is by far the best hotel address in old Strasbourg.

March 16, 2023 at 7:27 amPleasant and luxurious stay
+Remarkable location in the heart of Petite France
Comfortable and modern rooms
Dedicated and pleasant valets
-Breakfast price too high
Laurent
March 17, 2023 at 7:55 pmSuper charming stopover for 1 or 2 nights in Strasbourg
+Regular habit of staying in this hotel
Comfort at the rv/wellness/everything is then done on foot from the hotel
Charm and comfort of individual rooms
-Too bad there are not various breakfast formulas. The price is justified for a solid appetite
From now on you have to reserve the time for welness. Which is probably fine otherwise it would be too crowded. But if the staff is in care… the reception is a little slower…

March 28, 2023 at 7:22 pmI was just passing by with my dog like so many others, and I got set on fire by a blond employee who asked me to educate my dog who only relieved himself of an unconfirmed pee because I didn't absolutely not seen lifting a paw because I was looking at information to book 7 rooms in this hotel for my wedding. In view of the way of speaking of this employee, I changed my mind. Our relatives will stay in another hotel with better conditions.

April 6, 2023 at 2:21 amCaring staff with a fabulous location
+Fabulous location in the beautiful neighborhood of Petite France. 10 minutes from the cathedral which some rooms, including ours, can see. Excellent service, caring staff that made us feel at home.
-The annex building of the hotel is composed of a central heating which is not adjustable at the level of the room. With abnormally hot weather for the season, the result of the first night was that we were very hot and sleep was affected. We had to request fans for the following nights.

+super well located in the old center, beautiful view of the river and the old houses.

+The location of the hotel and the spacious room
-We had reserved our room through booking. When we booked, it was stated that breakfast would be included. We were surprised to find that the hotel considered that this was not the case. Despite various discussions with the staff, we were refused breakfast even though the offer of this hotel had been selected because of the breakfast included. The staff was uncompromising and it was only when we left the hotel that we were finally allowed to have breakfast there at no additional cost. We were disappointed with the attitude of the staff who did not seem at all to meet the requirements of a 5 star hotel.
