June 11, 2022 at 10:13 amWe had a nice stay “by the fireside” in March last year. One thing I regret is not daring saying something when we left me and my friends our 3 kids to the kindergarden one day. I gave 5 diapers to the nanny for my baby and when we picked her up at the end of the day the 5 clean diapers were still in her bag. My baby had a very severely damaged skin after for 1 week, with infection and blood… And very bag nights… The kindergarden team was not very professional. 10 months later I still remember and I finally write a public post, this experience hurts me.

An outstanding option for parents wanting a ski holiday with a comprehensive childcare wrap. The staff are excellent and so helpful!
Lease. Sitting a mere 300m from the Prodains Express, which accesses Avoriaz, it can also be reached by a short walk to a button lift and short ski. You can easily ski to the rear of the building on a blue run. The bus stop for Le Pleney in Morzine is also only 150m away!
Accommodation. Well maintained, clean and tidy. Towels are changed in the week, and beds are also made up. Our room (Provencal) offered sufficient storage for clothes, ski wear and a cot.
Child care. The onsite creche ran by is excellent for children who are too young for lessons, allowing parents the time to have a holiday. Our 15-month-old spent most days with the team (Aoife (head nanny), Áine and Niamh). His morning was spent upstairs playing, reading, etc. Every afternoon all the children (including the ones that come back from ski lessons) go somewhere different.
If you travel with young kids and need a baby monitor. I recommend a peer-to-peer wifi-based app, eg baby luna; it works incredibly well. We used an iPad and iPhone. Our Kodak camera to monitor struggled to get a sufficient signal because of the brick walls and streaming to the Kodak servers was challenging at times.
Food. A comprehensive continental breakfast with a daily 'hot' special. This offers more than enough variety across the week. Evening meal wise, the team offer a child sitting starting at 1730, well before the parents, which starts at 1945 (sofas) for 2000. The chefs offer a great variety of healthy food, including the necessary beige offerings for fussy little humans. My particular favorites were the chowder soup for the starter, the slow-cooked pork belly (with amazing crackling) and lamb shanks for mains, and the chocolate fondant for dessert. Having seen the prices in restaurants in the area, the 3-course meal offered as part of the catered option provides excellent value for money and a no-fuss approach to your holiday. Nick, the manager, offered an excellent recommendation (Le Cable) just across the road for the chef's night off.
Thank you to Cosmin, Dara, Josh, Anna, Eabha, Kenna and Seamie for entertaining our all week.

+Location in the middle of the mountains, calm, very helpful staff, very clean room, good bedding, hearty breakfast.
-Our room was next to the bar, we could hear the music in the morning at 07:30 and in the evening.

+Very friendly and caring staff.
-The living room heater was not working. We were cold. Lack of blackout blinds in one bedroom.

November 15, 2022 at 12:57 amThe team is very nice, very welcoming. The location is very pleasant, located near the city center, the beds
+I loved the family that hosted us. The people who work there are very attentive to our needs. The space is very bright, large and close to all directions (avoriaz, lac montriond, thonon, evian and center ville de morzine)
-Nothing - everything is beautiful!

December 7, 2022 at 8:26 pmConsidering the price we paid, we will gladly return to this hotel.
+The breakfast was great, the hospitality is great. We really felt like in a boarding house with an interior resembling a house where objects would have been found during the trips… Very friendly 😉
-Only small downside for us is the view from the room which overlooked a courtyard not necessarily very well maintained and especially in view of the surroundings which denoted.
Regarding the showers, we had to wait quite a long time to get hot water in the late afternoon.

December 31, 2022 at 9:31 amThe decoration of this place is just impressive and splendid as I was amazed! This center is a restaurant and offers event services if you wish! Has an outdoor garden jacuzzi, ping pong table! This place is conducive to relaxation and very warm, I advise you to book first but highly recommend this place!!

January 4, 2023 at 11:30 ama wonderful welcome in a beautiful setting but a bit expensive in terms of value for money.
+the staff was very caring, welcoming, kindness, politeness and a smile:
underground garage to put the motorcycle
-the room is small even as a couple we can walk on it in a family room.
the mattress too hard
for bikers the gravel for access to the chalet is very slippery
Anna
January 10, 2023 at 4:56 amAll right
+the friendliness of the staff, they were very caring, very smiling, really a superb experience
-It should rather have 3 stars on the level of its equipment and on the side a little old fashioned.

January 10, 2023 at 10:52 pmlovely weekend in Morzine
+The hotel was very charming, close to the slopes. The return on skis is possible but not the departure.
Excellent welcome, very attentive staff.
Pleasant breakfast and snack also offered in the afternoon.
-Nothing in particular

+Very warm welcome, very good breakfast, nice terrace.
-Room a bit small
Philippe
January 21, 2023 at 1:12 pma good moment.
+the setting – the welcome – the breakfast.
-I think it's more of a good 3 star than a 4.
Equipment a bit old and not necessarily well maintained.
It was 35 degrees but no more water cooled in the bar.
We put the towels on the floor in the morning to change them, they were put back in the bathroom without being changed.
The breakfast announced at 8 am is a little late, fortunately it is possible to go there earlier. In my opinion it should be at 7am when 4 stars are displayed.

January 24, 2023 at 8:55 amgood but no more!
+the location and the reception of the staff
-the heat in the room, a SPA which was not accessible to us due to non-results from the lab test, too bad!!!

February 13, 2023 at 3:02 pmVery nice hotel we will recommend it
+Fabulous breakfast, very nice hotel amenities, very comfortable bed, very helpful and kind staff.
We were in the suite with 2 bedrooms, we each had direct access to the outside (shared terrace or balcony), which was very nice.
-Parking with only 5 parking spaces, if full you have to park in white spaces towards the cable car.
Hotel located in a hamlet between the bottom of two large mountains, no clear view.
Located 3km from the city center, you have to take the car.

February 19, 2023 at 5:28 pmcorrect
+The breakfast was quite basic and the room was really too small, the bathrooms really need to be redone.
-The bedding and the size of the bedroom and bathroom.

February 25, 2023 at 8:55 amVery pleasant stay
+Very friendly staff. The breakfast buffet. Common areas. The relaxed atmosphere.

March 31, 2023 at 8:11 amCharming typical English hotel
+Living room with its fireplace, the view, the outdoor spa, the hotel is quiet and the staff very attentive.
Hearty English-style breakfast.
-The big downside is the fact of not having a reception, we don't know where to get in, it took us 10 minutes to find the owner on the spot, I thought it was a scam.
It's a shame because you have to go up a floor to appreciate the very beautiful living room and the terrace.

April 12, 2023 at 4:15 pmFamily hostel not a 4 *
+The staff (English speaking) attentive and always ready to help you.
The quality of the dinner although a little expensive (45€) with wine (but for children who don't drink it's very expensive as a result).
Charm of the living room (fireplace).
-The rooms are tiny (no room for a bedside table), shower room optimized and old, our view was non-existent. The living spaces are also cramped, you cannot move around easily, the staff constantly reorganizes the living room to allow circulation.
The equipment is aging (coat rack that fell in the room), furniture from another time and of poor quality, jacuzzi, broken coffee machine, and WIFI that does not work (in addition to the GSM network which is very hardly).
In addition, you should know that you must book your dinners in advance in the hotel (in the morning for the evening at least), we learned this the hard way when we arrived after a 6-hour drive where we had to find a restaurant in the area at 18 p.m. but this is impossible in season!!!
The breakfasts are complete but worthy of an ibis (white bread, jam, processed meats and cheeses, frozen pastries, etc.) and served until 9:15 am.
Finally, the hotel is mainly occupied by English/Dutch/Belgian people with very young children and therefore their way of life (room doors open, discussions in the corridors, children kings, etc.) Even if in relation to the number of children present in the hotel it was quite quiet you have to be aware of that. In summary, it is more of a family hostel for young parents than a 4* hotel for equipment, atmosphere and services.

June 23, 2023 at 12:55 pmWell in a beautiful environment
+Very welcoming and friendly staff, attentive.
Very beautiful surroundings and very beautiful surroundings, especially the terrace on which it is possible to have breakfast. Very good hearty breakfast.
-Only negative point: no shutters on the windows and the curtains are not blackout. That's a shame.
