Our stay at the Chalet-Hotel Neige et Roc, The Originals Relais (Hotel-Chalet de Tradition) was very pleasant. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by Françoise and Olivier Deffaugt who gave us an excellent overview of what to expect from our stay. Our rooms were comfortable and had stunning views of the valley and surrounding mountains. The traditional Savoyard cuisine was very refined and the leisure area was complete, offering everything you could need for your relaxation. The large landscaped garden with the heated swimming pool and children's play area was much appreciated and allowed us to fully enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings. We had a wonderful stay at Chalet-Hotel Neige et Roc, The Originals Relais (Hotel-Chalet de Tradition).

Bland and tasteless and what about the charcuterie platter, sharing three 4 pieces of ham!!! And then finally it was way too expensive for what it was!!!!!

We made the remark at the end of the meal and we were told that it was enough to say so and that we would have been served more…good to know. We would have liked to know this at the start of the meal…

November 19, 2022 at 7:15 amI stayed for 3 weeks in January 2023 and again for 3 weeks in March. The welcome is remarkable. A real sense of customer service. The owners go above and beyond to provide amazing service. The room was rather small but with absolute comfort. Large bathtub, storage, spacious bathroom and large west-facing balcony. I felt so good there that I have no hesitation in coming there in January and March.
In addition, a luxurious indoor swimming pool, spa and hammam and a cook who knows how to play with all the flavors.

Very nice decoration in every nook and cranny of the hotel, very pleasant swimming pool with massage parlor and spa (not tried), fitness room, games room for children, billiards in the lounge. Delicious breakfast with a savory buffet and a sweet buffet filled with local specialties and homemade dishes (the incredible cakes). The half-board evening meal allows you to enjoy a great tasting discovery of regional specialties. The children are not forgotten either and the staff really cares and pampers us with kindness.
The only regret in the end is having to leave this place… Can't wait for next year!

We had to shorten our stay following a family concern, the owners were more than understanding and very human. Thanks again.

Beautiful decorations await you, an irreproachable inventory, everything is in perfect order... We spent an excellent week of skiing there, whether on the slopes, at the table for the excellent meals, as well as in the relaxation area. You feel at home there, the hotel offers a beautiful view of the mountains and is located a few steps from the center of Samoëns, which is a very pretty village.
Thank you again for this warm welcome and for the sympathy of your entire team.

The comfort of the room, the cleanliness, the swimming pool with the deckchairs with the comfort mattress.
The rooms are spacious with a balcony with a pleasant view of the mountain.
The bed is very large and comfortable.
The breakfast is the big positive point, regional products of quality and plentiful.
-The spa the product inside burned the eyes without putting the head inside, as well as the nose and the skin, it must have been overdosed
The receptionist, a little too oppressive with these barrier gestures, runs after us so that we don't take our own pool bag.

-We were surprised at the dog supplement of €15 per day, i.e. €60 for the stay, especially since the cleaning, in agreement with the management, was only done very briefly 2 days out of 4, so no extra work for staff.

– Quiet studio with large bathroom and large balcony overlooking the pool and the mountains
– Access to all the hotel's activities: spa, tennis pool which are very valuable. The hot tub is large.
– Very pleasant outdoor and indoor swimming pool with mountain views
– Welcoming staff
-– The bedding and the comfort of the pillows which we did not like for a 4 star
– Breakfast although good a bit expensive in our opinion (17€/person)

We've been spending our ski holidays at this charming little hotel for several years now and each time we feel right at home. Even if the weather conditions are not always as expected, we know that this is not the only thing that makes our holidays in the mountains a success. It is also and above all the superb welcome we receive each time from Françoise and Olivier, and their entire team!
Every day a gourmet breakfast at the TOP, an ideal location very close to the village of Samoëns with a free shuttle that takes us directly to the Grand Massif gondola, after the effort on the slopes a good dose of comfort in the space wellness with sauna, jacuzzi and hammam. Finally, we end the day with a cozy aperitif with homemade crisps and a delicious 3-course menu or even 4 for those who still want to taste a good selection of cheeses! There, it goes by itself!
After all these years, Neige et Roc has never let us down. On the contrary, we become increasingly attached to this place and to the people who welcome us there. ❤️
