I was impressed with how the space in the bedrooms and bathrooms was used in a very clever way to provide maximum comfort for guests. The decoration of the rooms was also very nice and modern which added to the overall experience.

April 2, 2022 at 7:28 amWe had a stay in paradise! This pretty little family hotel is very comfortable. Very well placed in the heart of the village and two minutes from the bus station. It is the perfect place to rest while enjoying the mountains, the swimming pool and its jacuzzi sauna spa. The restaurant is delicious, the menus are varied and fine, they change every evening with the addition of deliciously cooked mountain specialties. The rooms are new and the Nuxe products are a little more pleasant. We appreciated the room for storing ski equipment, easy to use. We will come back with pleasure.

On the other hand, it would not take much for this hotel to really deserve its 4 stars but… all the same:
– push the renovation all the way (remove all those brown tiles from the 70s in the hall, the dining room, the toilets etc., repaint the yellow walls in the same tone as the main room with fireplace, repaint everything that damaged in paint everywhere in the rooms and corridors…
– arrange the reception hall more warmly, with frames on the walls, some beautiful objects, a more welcoming counter, flowers or whatever..
- during the high season light the fireplace !!!! it would be so much nicer for travelers
-do something about the smell in the dining room (WC? WC products? not terrible)
– in the restaurant always invest in more modern tables and chairs
-remove dust from the large chandelier in the dining room
– the exterior tiles are also very very vintage…
in short, many details which, if taken into account, would change the somewhat disappointing and not luxurious enough general impression of the common areas

The room I occupied was spacious and comfortable, offering everything necessary for a pleasant and relaxing stay. +The breakfasts are fine. I was in a hotel that offered packed lunches because we had to leave before 7am on the last day. I found it to be really good. This is a suggestion I can make to the Best Western hotel. Otherwise the hotel is nice and quiet.

Our room was clean and pleasant, the very large bathtub was appreciated! The balcony is a huge plus when the weather is nice. The swimming pool was a bit of a letdown as the water was not warm enough for our liking. The hotel restaurant is really excellent and the bar very welcoming. The staff is also very nice. A very good experience!

For our part accommodation in the small chalet annexed to the hotel, the Chalet Alice. Completely suitable for a family of 4 with 2 children.
The heated ski room is quite spacious. The bus station to get to La Clusaz is a 3-minute walk away, the bus stop to go to the start of the cable cars is a few meters from the hotel, in front of the church. So ideal!
Very good breakfast and nice table in addition.

+Very friendly welcome with a big smile, the only curious point is that the welcome is in a typical Savoyard atmosphere but once you walk through the door of the room you go into the new 4 stars!
5 stars at the restaurant, a borderline gastronomic delight but with content as well.
-A refresh of the ground floor reception corresponding to the level of quality of the rooms will be good.
A small plan for the locations of the parking spaces would be more welcome than oral explanations, when you do not know the area it is easier to read a plan than to search.

Top-notch welcome, cozy bedroom, optimized to the maximum (large bed with comfortable mattress, flat screen, fridge, wardrobe) bathroom very well equipped with Nuxe hygiene products. Spa, swimming pool, included in the price of the room, which nowadays is very appreciable (bathrobes, slippers, towels, provided) Hearty and varied breakfast with quality and local products.

-The bedding in the rooms (mattress too hard, pillows too high and too soft). The rather limited time for the jacuzzis (we would have stayed there 10min more). And the fact that the sauna is not usable, despite the fact that it was on.
