I was able, among other things, to revise the use of the semicolon. The location is ideal, the clean and functional rooms would be perfect with a few extra m2. The establishment is absolutely calm. We were greeted with great kindness and got the right answers to our various and varied questions. The most surprising is still the permanent presence of Loïc. We ended up asking him for his first name. He was present when we arrived on Friday around 13 p.m. Always behind the reception at 19:00 p.m. for our return from a walk in the very beautiful center of Rouen. And after an excellent night (for us, at least) he wished us a good day, always with the same kindness, good humor and competence. What more ? Thank you again and see you soon.

The breakfast is very pleasant, the decor lives up to the promise. And we took advantage of a room with a view over the rooftops and a small balcony with a lot of charm! In short, it is now our address for our next stays in Rouen.
The only downside, but nothing serious, is the flow of water in the shower, a bit weak for our taste, and a trace of dampness on the ceiling which will no doubt be repaired soon… We have to find a small defect!
But congratulations to the team, the hotel is at the top.

+The principle of the literary hotel is very pleasant, what a great idea to promote our authors and our heritage!
We had a fantastic welcome, with two adorable people despite the late hour! Always polite, smiling and even joking about a Disney hat in common 🙂 In the morning, being good coffee drinkers, my partner came downstairs to ask for extra capsules (provided in the room) and we got some without asking for any extra so that we had not taken the PDJ, something rare these days in many hotels. The cleanliness is top notch, the view from the room is incredibly poetic, the bedding comfortable, the hotel is very well located, close to everything, right in the city center. A real happiness!
-The three “negative” points:
No parking, or nearby car parks cost 15e per night, so this is to be taken into account for certain budgets!
For our room, the terrace has a "gutter" in front of the bay window, which can be a little dangerous when you go out and do not see it. We did not fully understand its interest, it takes up a lot of space for the small terrace, and involves a risk for customers. The shower head can be improved as well.

To begin with, it is located in a cul-de-sac slightly set back from the street which makes it a quiet place, despite its very good location very close to bars and restaurants. A perfect compromise.
The rooms are pleasant, clean and the decoration is original with quotes from books all over the hotel.
Finally, the staff was really on top, always ready to help.
