The rooms were spacious and comfortable with all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. I particularly liked the comfortable bed and the modern bathroom. The cleanliness of the room was also impeccable.
The breakfast was delicious and varied, with a large selection of hot and cold dishes, fresh fruit and pastries. The hotel restaurant also offered delicious food for lunch and dinner.
The location of the hotel was ideal for me, as I was able to explore the beautiful region of Fontainebleau and its surroundings. The hotel is located in a peaceful and green setting, making it a perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing.

April 6, 2022 at 8:20 pmI have known and frequented this Novotel more or less regularly for decades and I still find it as charming and comfortable… The very welcoming staff is also efficient and attentive to the customer… The restaurant prices (meals and breakfast ) are nevertheless a little high, even if the choice at breakfast is royal… The large and heated swimming pool is often invaded by unruly children, so to swim… I will always return with pleasure to this pleasant hotel.

At the edge of the forest, you can go directly for a walk in the forest of Fontainebleau. For my part, 2 morning jogs at dawn which were great!

The staff is really professional, welcoming, attentive, responsive and friendly. We had a great weekend there. Numerous possibilities for visits and walks make this hotel a very interesting spot for a guaranteed change of scenery at the gates of Paris. The outdoor heated swimming pool was much appreciated when we returned from our day of hiking. The restaurant's room team is really top, benevolent and caring. the dishes are very good, the kitchen offers vegetarian dishes and can adapt its dishes on demand.

Many activities are available, swimming pool, tennis court, table football, billiards available free of charge. There are also animals in the hotel park to the delight of children.

Restaurant that lives up to our expectations with a very complete and varied breakfast buffet that you will inevitably find what you are looking for early in the morning.

The hotel is located in a green and peaceful setting, perfect for relaxing and recharging your batteries. The rooms are spacious, modern and well equipped, offering all the necessary comfort for a pleasant stay. I also appreciated the quality of the service and the warm welcome of the staff.
The buffet breakfast is excellent, with a wide choice of sweet and savory dishes, as well as fresh, quality products. The hotel restaurant also offers refined and tasty cuisine, with local and international dishes.
The hotel has a heated outdoor swimming pool, ideal for relaxing after a day of sightseeing or work. The spa is also a major feature of the hotel, offering a wide range of relaxing treatments and massages.
Finally, the location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the region of Fontainebleau, with its castles, forests and picturesque villages. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing or professional stay in the region.

+Quiet and large place, comfortable room, several activities available including the heated swimming pool which is very pleasant. Staff attentive and caring. I recommend the place.
Since it's a little out of the way, it's better to plan ahead to eat because of the curfew. The hotel also offers dishes that we have not tested.
-When we arrived the hammam was no longer open because of the covid.. The hotel had nothing to do with it but it disappointed us a little.. Fortunately the rest was up to par.

+We liked the restaurant, the staff was efficient, attentive and friendly. The swimming pool is good, however, its accessibility for a person with walking difficulties is not perfect (we used it, however), the garden, a large green space, the terrace... all of this is very good
-the gravel to access the steps or the ramp… difficult to access with a walker and to roll the suitcases, see the luggage cart… on the gravel.. of the entrance courtyard.
For my part, I appreciate having tips (especially for the restaurant…) on the bill and payment by credit card and there it was not possible: for my part, I almost never have cash… and so I miss the fact of not being able to tip in an easy way… makes me feel uncomfortable especially when the staff have been very good.

We arrived for lunch before picking up the room keys. We decide to take advantage of the hotel restaurant, the reception by the waitress was not very warm, exchanges not barges throughout the meal.
As for the dishes, it's very expensive: a butcher's cut at €28 with a few “tired” pieces of salad and frozen fries.
Regarding the room:
– The fridge in the room stayed on, no complete darkness the first night.
– We had to change rooms twice:
The first time there was no cold water the shower was hot, we were moved to the next room, this time the shower was clogged the water did not drain…
2nd change of room in 1 hour, to find a shower without cold water.
No solution found because the employee informs us that there is no more technician at that time…
Resinez, we have been showering in the showers of the spa…
Regarding the premises: It feels that the hotel has not been renovated for a long time.
Disappointing stay! The hotel does not deserve 4 stars.

-A lot of things need to be done in this hotel.
1. Already, it is difficult to find a place although the car park is very large but everyone parks as they want and as they can therefore a lot of wasted space.
2. The rooms are good but poor, only maintenance a lot of woodwork damaged by the passage of suitcases
3. The restoration is pathetic for this kind of hotel, it smells like a scam. A "vegan" couscous only semolina and 6 pieces of zucchini and a few reasons for 16€!!!
Breakfast at 16.50€!!! no real orange juice, no grapefruit juice, no pastries provided, obligation to cook to make your own fried or soft-boiled eggs...it's not worthy of a Novotel. Stuck cold cuts that seem to come from a discounter, portions of cheese wrapped like in the canteen, a Brie that looks good but runs off on the ED cold cuts plate. In short, I expressly advise you to go to the local bar to have your breakfast.
It's rare that I break like that, but this breakfast is outrageous for 16.50€.

The Novotel was very well positioned for us.
Quiet cool room with air conditioning and very comfortable bedding allowed us to take a good rest.
Not tested the equipment or breakfast on the other hand.
-What is a bit annoying is the gravel parking lot.
Not possible to roll suitcases there.
