April 10, 2022 at 1:25 amVery beautiful setting, for lovers of stones, vaults and old places, this is one of the places in the region to stop.
Warm welcome whether on the phone or on site. The service is perfect: friendly, attentive and attentive without being too much.
The menus are well thought out, the cooking mastered and the dishes well presented. The advertised tastes are well on the plate! Excellent choice of wines.
Value for money correct price (small flat, water at 4.50 euros, new for me)
The essential restaurant when you visit the old medieval city. To be tested again for the veranda and the view of Les Arcs on sunny days (and the new menu).

July 22, 2022 at 8:49 amThe place is magnificent all in stone, the atmosphere very cozy and classy at the same time, the background music not too loud, I was afraid of being cold on the spot, but not at all, the fireplace adds a chill atmosphere to the meal.
As for the dishes, we took a menu each, the dishes are well presented and worked, we enjoyed ourselves! Being a vegetarian, I would like to thank the team for having been able to adapt the restaurant menu, which is full of charm, with a warm welcome and service.

September 13, 2022 at 5:26 amPerfect birthday evening...the setting, the service and the succulent dishes were there...From the appetizer to the dessert, the flavors delighted us...a special mention for the meager steak...
Thanks to the teams.

November 2, 2022 at 1:23 pmA beautiful place very well placed. To be tested again when the work is finished!
+A superb setting, an exceptional view from the breakfast terrace! Comfortable rooms.
-the ground floor of our building served as storage for materials and other tools for work in progress... A little unpleasant in terms of "reception" when accessing our room... And especially a lot of noise in the early morning...

+Charming hotel in a medieval castle
-Overall a bit expensive for the service:
– The apartment deserves a refresh
– Swimming pool under construction upon our arrival
– Lack of equipment (ex: iron)

February 2, 2023 at 2:12 amA magical place with an exceptional view. We had lunch there with our friends. The tasting menu amazed us, the dishes well presented.
We felt like kings and princesses in the castle with the impeccable welcome and the kindness of the hostesses who received us and served us worthy of the castle.

+I booked in this hotel especially for its restaurant and when we arrived we were told that it was full. I do not understand that hotel customers are not informed in advance. It's very unpleasant
-Welcome from the receptionist at the top

March 6, 2023 at 8:22 amWe enjoyed ourselves this summer and hoped to find the same experience and this time total disappointment…. are we becoming demanding or was the chef absent?? a tiny starter (small candied egg 2 cm in diameter, 3 ml of emulsion and a toast of white bread with a hole in the middle…), a correct main course but sauce flavored with concentrate, a shameful dessert, parched Paris Brest, disgusting pear , good welcome, good service, nice place but sad culinary service this time, sorry for this comment but when you are disappointed you have to express it …….

+The bedding is of very good quality. The service is very pleasant and accommodating. The location is superb. The rooms are very pleasant and equipped with air conditioning which is a real plus in this region. The swimming pool is a real plus as well as the restaurant which is a real delight.
-The hotel was undergoing renovation during our visit, it did not bother us too much but the installation of a towel rack in the bathroom would be a real plus, as well as a little decoration to make the rooms a little less impersonal (totally subjective opinion)

April 21, 2023 at 12:35 pmWe had lunch at the restaurant. The service was perfect and the maitre d' on top. We also booked a room at the hotel. Very nice view of the village, the room was very good. The only negative point: the receptionist called us back after our departure to ask us for 2 bottles of water and an ice tea, which we did not consume! The bar in the room had not been checked prior to our arrival. I find that a bit cavalier on his part. Considering the amount we left at the restaurant and at the hotel, we weren't close to 10€ for drinks… This spoiled our return a bit.

June 23, 2023 at 11:06 amA stay at the top in a small hilltop village in the Var...
+We particularly appreciated the beauty of the site with an exceptional panorama. A special mention for Gaelle who managed to find us a table at the restaurant which was full. Thanks again ! Our stay was perfect!
-Perhaps the only downside is the quality of the bedding. The mattress wasn't quite to my liking, not comfortable enough compared to my expectations, but that's still a very personal criterion.
