I had booked 4 rooms for 2 clients, my business partner and me. Not remaining 4 single rooms, I had even rented suites When I arrived around 15:30 p.m., the receptionist informed me very curtly that she only had one room left (even though I had my 4 reservations validated and confirmed). She then told me, I quote in bulk "that the mess started when she had just taken her job for 30 minutes, that it was always the same mess with Booking.com, that she had nothing to do with it. giving a shit about my reservations and that she wasn't going to shit me about the rooms she didn't have,..." For my part, I was stunned but refused at first to leave because I had received an e- email that my reservations were non-modifiable, non-cancellable and non-refundable. The receptionist then told me again; I quote and in bulk: “to clear because she had other clients, that it was not because I looked like a monster that she was afraid, and that if she were a man, she would break my teeth.. .” She then told me that she had called the police and that they were coming. So I decided to wait to explain myself to sane people. The receptionist then planted me in front of the counter to go take care of her customers at the bar (the poor ones...) while continuing to insult me ​​and tell me to leave with "her words". After about twenty minutes, seeing neither the police nor possibly the manager of the establishment coming, I left and went to find a new establishment. Looking back, I found myself relieved to be without my customers because this person would have reacted the same way, without filters, and worse if I had been at that time with children...

-A real lack of power outlets. A barely friendly welcome and not very professional, the gentleman seemed to be bored to work there.

If you have a room on the first terrace side, parking lot and restaurant exit, it will be impossible for you to rest, constant noise between cars arriving and leaving, people going out to smoke on the terrace, smell of cigarettes rising in the room, etc. In short, expect very short nights, from midnight to see more, and to be woken up in the morning around 6 a.m. because the staff is preparing breakfast. I do not recommend this hotel for the calm, I imagine the worst in summer, when everyone goes to eat on the terrace.

Excellent week-long stay at the Hotel du Bois Joly: charming room with a magnificent view of Mont Blanc, delicious restaurant at a reasonable price, very welcoming and sociable staff. Gondola 100 m away for access to the Crozet-Lelex station, where we were able to ski all week despite the very mild weather conditions! We are delighted with this stay and will probably return. A pleasant stay within your establishment. The overall hygiene of the rooms, bedroom... Very good. Food very good also with consistent prices. The only small negative point that I have noted is that customers are waiting for an aperitif at 18:50 p.m. but no one is present except for a cook who tells us that they are eating. A point for improvement in my opinion. Otherwise very good establishment that I recommend.
