+We spent the first night with my wife in the dovecote, an atypical room, full of charm and with a very comfortable bed. The room was very well located, in the center of the estate and is its emblem. Domain with a very interesting and nice concept. Very cute domain with beautiful landscapes and some animals. Many activities on offer (archery, swimming pool, petanque, table tennis, etc.). Your experience and appreciation of the stay will depend on the 'room' in which you will sleep ('real' room, tent, caravan, house, etc.).

-The second night we slept in the caravan, it was very hot/stifling during the day and very cold at night. Two old/hard mattresses on two benches as single beds. Moderately clean sheets (caravan). The staff hadn't even put sawdust in the outhouse in the back. In the caravan area, there were only open-air showers (no cabins), so it was impossible to shower properly. Toilet cabin 'Toitoi' behind the caravan but with broken door which did not close and very strong bad smell. Toilets in the dovecote immediately at the entrance in front of the French window and without any separation...not very charming/pleasant when the partner/friend can hear everything.

-hydromassage treatment canceled at the last moment for lack of organization .. bottles of shower gel almost empty when we arrived late after asking if there were any the price of breakfast a little expensive 16 € per person

Relaxation under the stars

+The bubbles offer a pure moment out of time, to observe the stars and listen to the calm of the countryside. If the starry sky was already a beautiful moment, the sunrise was just an incredible spectacle! The welcome is warm and our little doggies welcome. Wonderful experience.

-Few places open for dinner in the evening. “La grange de pépé” looked very good but the budget was a bit high.

I spent one night in "l'atelier 2" the room is beautifully designed and decorated respecting the old with a very warm touch of modernity with wood. The dishes concocted by the young chef have nothing to envy to the big names in gastronomy: local products, light and perfectly balanced recipes. The team is welcoming and very smiling. The messages are divine To get there you have to know but it's worth the detour!

Magnificent Domain

+The domain is magnificent. Lots of activities in a rural but very refined setting. Unfortunately not able to dine there but the breakfast was very good. Friendly swimming pool with bar area. Air-conditioned rooms. Electric vehicle charging station.

-Only downside, we only stayed one night. But we will come back for a stay.

A magnificent domain. A decor that makes you want to have at home. “Small” gastronomic restaurant with a discovery menu, we had for our taste buds… congratulations to the chef! Me difficult on some things, I left nothing 😉 So the very friendly servers.

Pretensions but there is still a lot of work to do

-The room and the surroundings of the room are very dirty (many cobwebs, dust around the bed, very dirty windows). Quality of the restaurant and the hotel not in relation to the price

+Quiet and soothing place, varied breakfast. The swimming pools are great and the little armchair corners are super nice. If you are looking for a place to relax it is here, in addition 30 for 2 people for t0 minutes of Spa, it is a treat.

-The little minus is the curtain in the room, too bad we can't have a completely dark room, you have to be careful to close it well, you could see from the outside.

+The place is charming although just the reception building does not seem in phase with the otherwise charming and exotic place with all the comforts. The room has just been redone with super bedding and sanitary facilities. The restaurant is delicious with excellent value for money. Stay like this

Good, but could have been better if we arrived and the room would have been checked properly.

+The dovecote was really sublime as well as the magnificent retro bathtub, a huge round bed.

-By the bed was not positioned in the middle, and we could not sleep because there were 12 wasps in all to kill including 3 on me during our evening, a huge spider, 2 bugs and 2 ladybugs, and we also heard a sound of mice or bats just before killing the 6 wasps from above to be able to sleep, it was 4am. We weren't tight at all. My companion clarified it the next morning, but we have no night offered, nor reduction, nor anything, due to this horrible night because probably a wasp's nest between the roof and the ceiling because impossible to find yet the insects were there. In addition, there was a problem with the heating, which had not been switched on before our arrival, so it was cold for hours, before there was a good temperature, and moreover difficult to turn on. Also problem with the water and the bathtub because leaking and the water stops flowing from the tap during filling and little hot water. Disappointed pity. Would love to do again if offered a night to erase this not easy night as my darling was so tired to drive the next day. We left late at 12 noon instead of 11 a.m. because we had barely fallen asleep for 3 hours and unfortunately we had to leave very tired.

Very nice experience!

+The place is beautiful surrounded by nature. The tree house is very pretty, the beds are cozy, great experience with our children!

-The fact of not having the right to picnic in the hut. So we ate at the restaurant, which was very chic, very good, but it's not possible to take a la carte dish, and a menu with our two young children isn't really suitable. We did our best but felt a bit out of place.

We stayed one night at Suzel's estate. We received a very warm welcome from the hostess who showed us around the various places that can be found at the Domaine (garden, spa, room, restaurant…) Unfortunately we were not able to dine at the restaurant but we were able to take advantage of the breakfast which was excellent. The staff at Domaine de Suzel are attentive to the client and their well-being. We recommend this beautiful and pleasant place.

A great discovery, a very complete place in terms of the activities offered. The domain is magnificent. The breakfast is top notch. On the other hand, great difficulties in communicating from the moment you use a Wonderbox, it's a shame. It took several calls to book; we were supposed to be called back but we are still waiting... The cleanliness of the room is a bit to be reviewed with found hair and a dirty cushion. The owner, met during breakfast, is very friendly. The staff, on the other hand, seems a bit lost, for some: 2 questions asked and no answer obtained.

-this property is overrated and poorly maintained. my bathroom (sink and tub) had not been cleaned. 2 out of 4 bulbs in my room didn't work. the price is way too high for the services offered. really very poor and very expensive breakfast! Service is inconsistent, unfriendly and virtually non-existent.

-We slept in the bubble and there was only a small heater which was inefficient compared to the size of the bubble so it was very cold, bubble not recommended in winter.

Nice establishment with beautiful exteriors. We had a great weekend as a couple.

-There were 2 weddings at the same time on Saturday evening and therefore no one to serve at the bar by the pool at the end of the day. A bit of a shame for the customers.

We spent a weekend as a couple in January in a studio room, everything was perfect. Too short for our taste From arrival to departure nothing to say. Special mention for the grandpa barn where we enjoyed ourselves. We look forward to our next weekend at Domaine de Suzel.

A big thank you to the team of the domain, welcoming and professional for this relaxing stay between mother and daughter. The place is superb, well maintained, conducive to relaxation and idleness. We loved the mix between modern and old. The products are of high quality. Special mention to Christmas jam 🙂 at breakfast. The duo massage is a very good moment, relaxing. I recently stayed at Domaine de Suzel and was pleasantly surprised by the very original accommodation that is "Le pigeonnier". Although access to the bedroom is via a step ladder, it adds a unique charm to the experience. The room was comfortable and I enjoyed the peace and quiet of the place.
