the entrance to the hotel is fabulous, the swimming pool is very beautiful and pleasant, the temperature is very pleasant.
-The service at the catering level needs to be improved, it is a PD appreciation, you have to ask for the drinks, sometimes look for your cover because it is forgotten. The bar closes at midnight and the responses are abrupt.

+Quality of the bedding, very warm welcome from the valets, receptionists, cleanliness of the hotel, very good geographical location.
The hotel is very well maintained, nice swimming pool, very nice terrace.
-The breakfast which took 50 minutes to be served, not in order, by a server who had certainly not done EHL or any other hotel school. We didn't have the breakfast menu, the tea arrived without a cup, the omelette after the fruit and therefore refused by ourselves because we had waited too long. In the end we started breakfast at 9 am and finished at 50 am, in one word: great.
However, the products are very good.
We still expect better for a breakfast close to 100€.
Surely this opinion would be different in a normal situation, but we feel that the staff is lacking.
A word of advice: better to have a buffet with self-service for the whole rather than wanting to impress with servers (or at least some of them) overwhelmed by events.
Too bad also that at the end of the stay the receptionists did not ask what we thought of the stay.

We had a balcony which was shared with flower pots with the next door neighbour, yes yes, split in 2. No privacy and we couldn't enjoy the outdoors.

-– We took a room of 30m2 (at 550€ per night / footage noted in detail of the room on booking) and arrived in a tiny room of 23m2 stuffy. When we went to inform the reception, we had to pay 600€ per night more to have a decent room.
– The cleaning leaves something to be desired, the cleaning ladies have just cleaned to show that they have been there but have not even bothered to change the soaps and shampoo that they have put back as if they were new when they were empty
– very little space in the pool and you must be lucky enough to have a deckchair

There are subjects that we can't talk about so it's perfect, the cleanliness and the quality of the rooms do not suffer from any criticism.
But the particularity of this place is the welcome, the friendliness of the teams and the sense of service.
Of course the errors exist, but a simple phone call and they are corrected within a quarter of an hour.
Thank you for your welcome, your professionalism, thank you for this family but professional atmosphere.
One last piece of information, there is a children's club with activities and it's a break of a few hours given to parents (or I know, we are bad parents) but it feels good anyway.

+Breakfast made up for our stay which was disappointing. Very good quality products and very complete.
-Came for a surprise birthday (which had been mentioned and confirmed by the establishment), not even a word of birthday or welcome in the room.
The spa had to be booked, which we did not know. We were able to access it the day after our departure from 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m., no jacuzzi, too bad.
To top it off I realize that I was charged €300 which was to be only a deposit in the event of a problem and not a direct debit. I am waiting for my refund which should arrive I hope within the week..
