April 3, 2022 at 2:00 pmAccustomed to Parisian palaces and other establishments of this standing, I must admit that I was particularly surprised by the welcome given by the restaurant/tea room staff... not tested.) Haughty and rude staff. Unworthy of an establishment of this level!
I very rarely take the time to give opinions, but this first (and probably only) experience at this hotel leaves me no choice.

May 16, 2022 at 12:24 amLe Meurice, a Palace that my father told me about and it was time for me to discover it.
I was overwhelmed by the service before arrival and the welcome on arrival. The staff made every effort to take into account all my requests.
I arrived early and the pick up was awesome. I was upgraded. I thank them very much for that.
The room is super spacious and renovated. Good sized shower
We tried Cedric Grolet's famous desserts and the Dali for dinner was a beauty. With a pianist who offered us superb music throughout.
Le Meurice definitely remains an address that we will continue to frequent.

May 27, 2022 at 4:58 amWe came for Sunday brunch. Sumptuous decor, personal, attentive. For the price of €150 per person we were slightly disappointed. We had to ask for fruit juice and a bottle of Evian water was charged extra at €16. Some servers lacked class and courtesy, one of the dishes was not hot enough.

August 12, 2022 at 7:47 pmMy wife and I came to have a glass of champagne at the bar of the Hotel Meurice. We appreciated the quality of the place and the service as well as the champagne and the chocolates served with it.
But I was very surprised that on the bill there was an extra 5% called “Employee contribution”. I have not seen any information relating to this billing supplement.
When I asked the server for an explanation, he replied that it was group policy. And he offered to refund me that 5%. I did not accept because I find the approach of not charging this supplement only to customers who dispute it. This approach is unfair to other customers and is anything but a group policy. I specify that the waiter was very correct. He only followed the instructions of his management.
This practice does not seem to me to comply with French legislation and the practices in force in our country. In France, the service is included. This is the reason why, I put this note of 1/5 so that it goes up with the leaders and shareholders of the group.

November 2, 2022 at 5:42 pmMy husband and I tested Le Meurice for Sunday brunch.
The restaurant is splendid, the atmosphere is warm, the food is excellent! Some small blunders in the service but the manager Mrs. Seuhade knew how to perfectly meet our expectations.
I would particularly like to thank her, she made this experience a magical moment.
Glad to have met you.
See you soon.

December 29, 2022 at 12:06 pmThis Friday, May 5, at 15:50 p.m., my family and I decided to have coffee at your hotel which looked beautiful from the outside.
If we had known that the reception would be so deplorable, I think we would not have wasted 40 minutes waiting for a server to take care of us.
First, we waited 10 minutes quietly, the time that a table became available.
Once seated, we waited for a waiter to give us the map. After 30 minutes we left, annoyed, upset and exasperated.
In all, 5 servers passed in front of us, in front of our corner of the table, and not a single one spoke to us. One of the servers even stopped in front of our table, to finally leave.
My parents wanted to give us a great experience in this hotel, but we left with a very strong feeling of humiliation.
I even thought of discrimination, given that we are of North African origin.
I do not understand how an establishment like yours can offer its customers such a distressing welcome.

+the effort invested by the staff for my daughter's lactose intolerance
-the concierge recommended a restaurant that pre-cooks the food before serving. a disgusting experience… Too bad!

January 26, 2023 at 2:22 pmVery pleasant brunch in terms of taste (quality and quantity) and atmosphere of the room. Small problem with the service: removal of the plates when we had just taken our toast from them, we had to ask for the fruit juice included in the menu, as well as the glass of Champagne ordered for the dessert (which we charged us twice!!). But for an exceptional experience, we overall had a great time.

March 14, 2023 at 6:08 amI have already been to several palaces in Paris, this time I tested the champagne taste of Le Meurice, and I was very disappointed.
The setting is superb but the waiters are not particularly pleasant (for the price we tend to want a service with small onions), in this case the dishes were torn from our hands, the coffees and hot chocolates arrived cold ( my table also had to ask for its drinks since we had been forgotten).
Beyond that the pastries and sandwiches honestly have no taste.
Very disappointing especially for the price, in the same genre I recommend the Ritz instead.

May 23, 2023 at 3:40 amit was my night of my marriage proposal. Exceptional.
+the staff was really caring. the geographical location in front of the tuileries was just as exceptional. the attentions as well as the reaction of the concierge on our requests is more than pleasant. The breakfast is definitely worth a try. Not to be missed in the basic room price.
-if I had to say a single negative point, it would be that I think a palace should have a swimming pool or a jacuzzi area in its spa.

May 31, 2023 at 1:30 pmReally disappointing welcome. We were considered customers going to the Flunch. This is absolutely not normal for an establishment of this standard that we are used to visiting. Be aware that if you want to go and have a snack at Le Meurice, you will be greeted by unprofessional staff, leaving you to wait in the entrance with all the other people wishing to come and have a taste there as well, as if we were going to visit the Thoiry zoo. . Customer experience to be completely reviewed. The first question was to ask if we had a gift card, having answered in the negative, the person went further by saying “you are then giving yourself a gift”… what does that mean? We have the feeling of having been pigeonholed, very unpleasant.
Pastries however suitable thanks to Cédric Grolet but the quality of the service must be up to par. You should not just use the reputation of this pastry chef and be satisfied with it.
