-Accessibility from Etaples-Le Touquet station impractical in the off season & outside school holidays, taxi unavailable fortunately the hotel has an emergency shuttle vehicle (for 15€/person)… Such a tourist town could have a more suitable city bus system.

+The staff (very friendly, welcoming and professional), the bedding (one of the most comfortable I've ever seen, it feels like sleeping on a cloud), the feeling of luxury and comfort in the room, the indoor and outdoor bar with excellent cocktails, the delicate fragrance that reigns in the hotel.
-When you stay in a 5 star, you expect perfection. The Westminster is a very nice hotel, but there are too many small details, small imperfections which, put together, do not, in my opinion, justify this 5th star.
I was traveling with friends, we had taken the same two rooms (Double Deluxe), I had a bathtub in my room (very pleasant and comfortable) but they only had a shower. In a 5-star hotel, you can't say to yourself “I'll see when I arrive if I have a shower or a bathtub, that'll be a surprise”…
The air conditioning in the room is complicated to adjust and is not cold enough, even at maximum, when you are on the 4th floor with small windows that are poorly insulated from the heat.
These windows are also poorly insulated from noise, I could hear the music from the outside bar.
The swimming pool is more like a big underground bathtub, in a low-ceilinged basement with no windows, it doesn't make you want to stay there (and that's a good thing because there are only 4 deckchairs).
The gastronomic restaurant is certainly very good, but it only operated at 1/3 of its capacity, probably “due to the sanitary situation”. So we wanted to dine at the hotel's brasserie, but there too, as for the swimming pool, it's an interior room without a window (with however a skylight on the ceiling), not particularly pleasant.
The fact of having to pay extra for parking is a little petty given the price of the room, knowing that almost all customers come to Le Touquet by car, we are not going to arrive by hot air balloon, so you might as well integrate it from the start.
It's still a very nice hotel, very pleasant and quite luxurious. I'll probably come back, but rather out of season, when the prices will be more in line with a 4-star standard, which corresponds more to reality.

A large car park is located behind the building with a direct entrance to the hotel.
