As soon as I arrived, I was taken care of by a smiling and helpful team who knew how to answer all my requests.
One of the strong points of this hotel is the possibility of renting bicycles to discover the surroundings. I was able to enjoy the magnificent landscapes of the region in complete freedom and at my own pace.
The location of the hotel is also a major asset. Nestled between Colleville and Arromanches, it offers a peaceful setting conducive to relaxation. I was able to enjoy moments of calm and rest away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The swimming pool is also a strong point of this establishment. Well maintained and well equipped, it allowed me to relax and refresh myself after a day of sightseeing.

The site of the Mercure Omaha Beach 4* is very pleasant, the staff welcoming; everything was fine until the diner. Beautiful restaurant but not at the level of a 4 star apart from the prices (15th for the mojito, 8 in Cherbourg) price on the wrong wine list, dishes ordered unworthy. Nothing for people allergic, pathetic and rare fries, vegetables with meat given drop by drop… restaurant to avoid absolutely, major works are announced on this site, from there to sacrifice the clientele.

October 21, 2022 at 3:46 amWe are coming for our 35th wedding anniversary and we were asked when booking if we were coming for an event so I mentioned the reason for our stay. We ordered a bottle of champagne. When we arrived we were told he was giving us a superior room. Thank you it's nice … arrives in the room …. amazement a small room in the roof with a skylight ……. it is true that at the base we had not asked for anything but then we say nothing… moreover we have I think one of the few rooms without window just a skylight. So we could have been given a more beautiful room even standard but this one not terrible .Champagne…..never planned, we had to ask for it at the restaurant. Great surprise…. I think there really is a communication problem.
Sorry to report this, we are not dissatisfied people, on the contrary everything is good for us in general, but this may allow us to be more attentive for future customers.

We arrived one night before the group, had a very warm welcome at the bar/restaurant.
My husband having a brain disease, the staff realized this very quickly and were very understanding and efficient. Thank you to the whole team and to Romuald in particular

-aging room, bathroom from another time, nothing to do with the photos on the booking site. In addition, impossible to dine at the restaurant we arrived around 18:00 p.m. and we were clearly ordered to dine elsewhere, not very welcoming, and no alternative, or even on a second service… As for the restaurant that was recommended to us , it speaks for itself. In short, as a regular mercury chains, it's a disappointment.

It's better to have breakfast in the dining room, otherwise not too much choice, even if the idea of breakfast in bed is tempting.
Price quality a bit excessive.

1) The information given by the reception service is contradictory and misleading! (thank you Mrs. Chloe)
2) Unable to present me with an invoice on the day of departure following a dispute.
3) They took money from my C-Bleue, without my authorization and without even warning me, this is a violation of article L 133-6 of the monetary and financial code.
In addition to being DISHONEST, they have working methods that date back 30 years...
My stay was 100% ruined.

-Hotel a bit dated. Bathroom in decline. Room that overlooks a “hotel on a highway” type car park.
At the swimming pool, the deckchairs are also a bit outdated. Breakfast no more. Meal in the evening, ditto without more.
Perfect for 1 night.

The heating is set very high in the rooms (ask reception to turn it down), but it is absent (or really too low) at reception, in the bar and in the restaurant. The latter is very good but the meal is spoiled by the temperature…
Too bad the new management reacts like this; Since the hotel is located outside of Port-en-Bessin, they better keep their guests as much as possible…

girl at the reception for a suitcase: the rest is up to us (including my 8 year old son). not great for a 4 star and 237€ per room.
-1 star small detail: welcome drink only for 1 occupant of the room. this is the first time in the Accor network. after 3 floors of stairs with suitcases in hand, it was really welcome.
for the rest, Mercury quality as usual.

-The lack of a lift to take your luggage up to the second… the really badly designed bathroom. The space between the angle of the bed and the desk too narrow and therefore dangerous. The front door of the bedroom knocking on the bed…
I should point out that we were in a room in the attic and at an angle… showering if you are over 1,78m must be mission impossible!
Access to the sauna is from the outside…
One question arises, do hoteliers give the worst rooms to booking reservists???
