Regarding the welcome, I must say that I was delighted with the friendly atmosphere that reigned there. The staff were very warm and welcoming which made you feel immediately at ease. I was also impressed with their professionalism and efficiency.
Another thing I really liked was the hotel's pet policy. I traveled with my dog who weighs 20kg and was happy to find that the hotel accepted pets. It made my stay much more pleasant, as I didn't have to worry about finding a care solution for my four-legged friend.

At val de reuil I would like to emphasize the extreme cleanliness of the room. A big shout out to the cleaning team. Friday morning I congratulated the lady (I don't have her name) from cleaning…and she is very kind. She contributes by her professionalism to the quality of the stay.
Much less considerate breakfast team. In fact, completely absent in the room. Please remember that this is not a canteen; the customer pays a service.

We opted for a spacious family room which could accommodate two adults and a large teenager. We were delighted to find that there was a real big bed for our child and that the room offered enough space to move around freely.
The cleanliness of the room was remarkable and we appreciated the presence of all the Canal + Disney channels. In addition, the little touches such as tea, herbal tea and the kit in the bathroom added a personal touch to our stay.

March 7, 2023 at 7:46 amI made a reservation that I had to cancel because of the strike in October, they did not receive the email and I was charged. I didn't understand the mechanism and so I called 3 times, I was told to "investigate" or "wait for the manager to arrive"
Ok, I then ask them to contact me imperatively (to the 3 people I had on the phone) because I need to understand this debit of 148 euros. 4th call, 3 weeks later, unpleasant person on the phone to explain to me that I had not sent the cancellation to the correct address and therefore that the refund is impossible. Deplorable customer service, so you have to insist more than reason to be heard! that you're understaffed, you still need to provide customer service that lives up to the star rating you're claiming. Fortunately, the other hotels in the Accor group take care of their customers. I would not return.

It has Mercury only in name.
As much as some employees are very pleasant, others are unfriendly.
As for the manager, I have never seen such an arrogant and dismissive person. Customer satisfaction is clearly not its priority, at the same time it is a transit hotel which is quite regularly full.
It's noisy and even dirty, just look at the state of the facade, the overflowing outdoor bins and the state of the carpet or some rooms.
I strongly advise against this place. It's really a shame for the few very friendly employees.
