April 7, 2022 at 12:16 pmHotel beautifully located on the huge beach of Le Touquet. My room on the ground floor overlooked the sand, I had never seen that in France. I hope the panes withstand the storms. The establishment having only one floor, it stretches out like a snake along the shore. Very pleasant restaurant and swimming pool with sea view. It is a pity that the whole of the sea front was not designed in this way in the 1970s because it is very ugly, unlike the rest of the partly wooded resort and nicely set.

The room of 17m square, impression of having little space, very simple, good quality bedding, correct breakfast without more but high (17€!!!). In the room there is only soap for the shower and 1 for washing hands.

September 30, 2022 at 9:59 pmIt is surprising that the "Accor" group has not yet undertaken the rehabilitation of this hotel. You feel like stepping back 30 years when you discover the rooms. Everything needs to be redone, from the obsolete bathroom, the uncomfortable bed, the TV from another age, the furniture has lived well! No courtesy tray, no toilet paper and no bottled water… At the price charged, this is simply unacceptable, even if, fortunately, the cleanliness is there.
For those used to staying at Ibis or MERCURE hotels, this hotel is simply shocking in comparison. As it stands, it's not worth more than €50 a night. Also, there is no restaurant or room service. The swimming pool was cold, the hammam cold too, and the common areas freezing (17 degrees). Accor's energy sobriety plan is applied with zeal. ^^
However, the welcome is professional and pleasant, and the location of the hotel is perfect.

Our room (booked a month in advance) was right next to half of Le Touquet beach access.
Not only thousands of people who pass 2m from your room from 6am but icing on the cake, the big trucks passing at 7:58, YES at seven fifty-eight in the morning, still 2m from your room to go and clean the beaches. AWFUL.
Second icing on the cake, my spouse opens the closet door, and the door falls on her head causing a bruise on her forehead and headaches. The hotel manager decided that compensation of 70EUR (20% after long discussions) of the total cost of the room was sufficient to cover the bodily injury caused.
Exorbitant price of the room besides, for the quality of the hotel and the services or better the non-services offered by the hotel and the city of Le Touquet. Everything is old, the restaurants are very expensive and of very low standard.
Mother nature provides beautiful beaches, hotels, restaurants and the city of Le Touquet do nothing to follow.
HOTEL ABSOLUTELY AVOID, degraded structure, you will not be safe. We will file a complaint.

-When we arrived we asked for a trolley for our luggage. No trolley, the barman told us. It was not true, because at the Novotel, which has the same management as the IBIS, there were carts. In addition, the barman was very slow: I had to wait 15 minutes for an espresso (there were no other customers at the bar). For a beer: same time. Regarding the breakfast: not great: no cheese from Normandy (eg camambert) only French Emmental cheese ???!! wrapped in plastic. No buns (only baguettes) and an unedible "plastic" jambob etc. House to avoid

-Initially, after phoning following the reservation booking we were told that our rooms were not reserved when it was paid for, he practices overbooking! We were given sea view rooms but in front of the very busy staircase that goes down to the beach, not very nice, then after complaining we were given sea view rooms.
Fiasco at breakfast, 1 person overwhelmed, we had to clear the table of the previous one, not enough staff.
At the end of the stay we were called back to charge us for a meal that we did not take!? There is a general bug at reception.

The restaurant was closed due to lack of staff.
At 190€ per night, I would have liked to have had a decent coffee machine and not instant coffee in the room.

-The big negative point is that due to the redevelopment of the hotel (bringing together the IBIS reception point and NOVOTEL at the SPA level) this hotel is becoming very tiring, the IBIS residents are constantly pacing the long corridors and stairs. Although the hotel is on the beach, access to the beach is not easy from the Novotel terrace (you must be in good physical shape because of the dune to go up and down).

Impossible to take advantage of the restaurant on site and no indication given as to the need to book more than 3 days in advance: frankly not practical with a 3-year-old child (reason: priority given to spa guests on half-board)
The snack “saved” us the first evening (15 euros for the croque-monsieur reheated in the microwave…!) So we organized ourselves so that we no longer had to eat on site: difficult again with a 3-year-old child but this allowed us to take advantage of the restaurants and their warm welcome in the city center
Courtesy tray in the room which comes down to 1 coffee, 1 tea and 1 mini soap (380 euros for the room + 130 euros for extras... it's more than light all the same!) 1 minibar in the room with 1 small bottle of water but we did not dare to touch it for fear of a disproportionate supplement

No more catering or room service on the Ibis side, obligation to dine at the Novotel (Novotel budget, etc.), cold swimming pool, hammam, uninteresting because it is also cold, freezing common areas, etc. Accor's energy sobriety plan is applied with rare zeal .
The welcome is professional and pleasant, the location of the hotel perfect.
Accustomed to this hotel I am particularly disappointed with my stay, wake up!

-The reservation of the room (2 people) was made on January 31, 2022 for 4 nights (breakfast included) at 916,- euros.
The room at the Ibis hotel was very disappointing, far from what we imagined, tiny, dark, without a terrace.
The first room allocated to us was a connecting room which we had refused.
Added to access the rooms a huge corridor that requires crossing the bar, the breakfast room, lunch and dinner and this for each trip, entering and leaving the hotel as well.

Room: we had asked for a room with a cot …. arrived at the room which was very but very very far … no bed on site ….
8am woke up to a bulldozer moving sand at our window.....
breakfast: we passed by and when we saw the composition of the buffet …. 17 euro for that ???? No thanks !!!
