The Best Western Le Montparnasse is a well-located hotel not far from the Montparnasse train station and it is on a human scale.
The hotel team is pleasant, courteous and very professional.
They are attentive to customers and their needs. They are always ready to serve them. You really feel welcomed and valued.
The rooms are clean and the bedding comfortable.
Many shops, restaurants and cultural places nearby.
I will return with pleasure!

Very well located in the heart of the Montparnasse district of Paris, this hotel is surrounded by restaurants and shops just a stone's throw from the train station.
The room is clean and well equipped. The bathroom is cramped, equipped and odors emanate.
Other than that, the staff are lovely and attentive.

+I was happy to find a last minute room in this very well located hotel. The room was small, but less small than that of another hotel which charges lower rates but is far from the center. I appreciated being able to secure my bike.

-The room overlooked the square, quite noisy at night. If you want to go to bed early, you have to close the window. And when it's hot, it's hard 🙂

-NO PERCAUTION IN RELATION TO COVID apart from freezing at the entrance
NO HEALTH PASS REQUESTED and we came across people without masks coming out of an elevator and in the hall

Original hotel well located in the city center

+Very original hotel with superb decor and well located in the city center.
Brilliant welcome by a very interesting and cultured South American receptionist who gave us a lot of useful and unexpected information.

Very noisy hotel because surrounded by cafes which we could smell the consumption of "grass" to our room for which we had to leave the window open to get some air because tiny room (claustrophobic abstain!)

Well that's not bad at all. Good value for money. Quite ideal location when arriving in Paris via Montparnasse. Many metro lines that allow you to shine in Paris. Fairly sized bedrooms and bathrooms. And recently renovated. Very decent breakfast.

-No air conditioning (ok I hadn't checked) but a bar downstairs under the windows and despite a fan being available, it was... hot!

Hotel to avoid, more than €220 per room and no hot water, a shower from the 2000s. And the room is noisy.
In addition, a breakfast that starts at 6:45 am therefore incompatible with an early train departure which next to a station is pathetic. No consideration for the inconvenience. I put 2 stars and not one only for the person at the reception who does his job somehow.

I stayed 3 nights in this hotel to be as close as possible to my daughter who was hospitalized at the nearby Necker hospital. The staff were caring, friendly and welcoming. Everyone had a kind word. It reassured me: I was alone in a big city. The room is certainly small (but we are in Paris!) very modern, a beautiful bathroom, ultra clean sheets and towels, a small fridge which well repaired, in the room I had some coffee powder, tea and a kettle. We were brought up to a good breakfast served by a lovely lady. Opposite the hotel there is a Franprix and restaurants for all budgets. It's true you can slightly hear the metro but you're in Paris! The hotel is well located, I will come back with pleasure for tourism and shopping. I hope the staff will read my review, they helped me with their kindness and seriousness. Thanks to them.

+Cleanliness, location and hospitality

-Nothing to report, we liked it

Pros: (1) very friendly staff, (2) close to Montparnasse train station
Negative points: (1) toilet lid that does not hold, (2) shower head that does not hold, (3) non-functional air conditioning in cold mode, (4) non-existent sound insulation from the corridor and adjoining rooms , (4) passage of the metro nearby and even on the 4th floor, objects vibrate and the train can be heard very well, especially early in the morning…, (5) breakfast served in the room at fixed time, (6) breakfast destitute given the price of 9 euros, (7) count 7 minutes watch in hand by running the water before having hot water in the morning, (8) the toilet flushes nothing at all, even a sheet of paper is difficult to pass.
We'll stop there for now...

VERY GOOD

+beautiful establishment, well located, TOP staff, neat decoration, superb view from the terrace.

-the only downside is the lack of ventilation in the bathroom and the bedroom, hence the condensation on the windows and a not very pleasant smell when entering the room, probably due to the carpet which soaks up the humidity. but I still recommend this hotel.
